I show this account for ********************** to be charged off and if I do not have any other scheduled due dates-why is this still being reported as late? I am demanding for all late payments reported on my account to be removed since the time of September of 2018 until today. This account is a charge off and should not be reporting late payments because it is a charge off.Business response

I am beyond frustrated with this bank and feel others should know how they treat their customers. I have been with this bank for many years, and have had on-going problems I keep hoping they will do better, and correct. I have multiple accounts with Grow Financial, business, personal, my **** and savings. My payroll checks are written from a Grow Financial account, going into a personal Grow Financial account, and they are holding my payroll check for multiple days before putting the funds into my account. I find this highly annoying and unnecessary when it is coming from their own bank to their own bank, and it has cost me overdraft fees, and upsetting moments that I can not pay my bills with my payroll check because of their long wait times of depositing my payroll check. There is no good answer for this, and it seems unethical to hold someones check for days, when it is clearly a bank check from their own bank with plenty of money to clear the check. I do not appreciate this and want other people to know this is how they do business. I intend to close all my accounts from this bank this week due to this aggravation. Im going to be finding a new bank so that I can be serviced properly. All other banks at least show that a deposit has been made, this one does not. It's not a good service, and I hope people will see this and decide to choose a different bank.Business response

On October 13, 2022, I took out a new car loan with Grow Financial Federal Credit Union. The loan was for the amount of $32,200.97 with a APR of ****%. The paperwork said there was no penalty for early pay-off and that the balance used to ******* interest is the unpaid balance each day after payments and credits to that balance have been subtracted. There is no pattern to the amount of interest that is taken out each month but none of which match any ammoritization I can find on line. I have talked to representatives from Grow to try and resolve this with no success. They said there was no supervisory person I could talk to They suggested that I come to a branch so they could explain it to me. Their closest branch is in *****, ** which is 450 miles from my home. They have told me they do not have an ammortization schedule, that the amount of interest wouuld be decreasing soon, and that I would pay $3.43 daily for the life of the loan. I have made several additional payments that were supposed to have been applied to principal but interest was subtracted from that amount. According to what **** has told me, I will pay over $4,000 more than the loan paperwork says I will. Please help me to resolve this matter. This account has been closed since 2015. It is still showing as derogatory on my credit report and this should have already been removed from my credit report. They have failed to furnish me with the initial agreement as a requested.Business response

I have held an account with Grow ********************** for 30 years. Recently I was a victim of a scam on my computer indicating virus and malware. I called the number and after speaking with person I realized it was a scam. I uninstalled the ultavista and closed my computer. I called Grow and asked them to lock my online as a protection. In order to have access to my online bank they have requested me to take my pc to a reputable company and have it scanned. I did this and my pc passed all reports. I have ****** on my PC and ran my own scan and spoke to someone at McAfee about my situation. I was told my pc is fine this scam is just a fake browser and not a report of virus or malware in my pc. I sent to GrowFinanicial on Aug 4th. They say they did not receive it. I called again and spoke to someone in ***************** They said they will review it and a passed diagnostic should prove sufficient to reopen online banking. I have been on line with chat support this am and they told me they have report but cannot open a HTML file and can I please convert to PDF. I did this now Im being told the report is not sufficient as it does not include something about their enterprise. Im no longer wishing to work with them and will be moving my $ to another bank. I PURCHASED VEHICLE FROM ****** *********. THE ***** QUOTED FOR USED 2018 ***** WAS VERBALIZED AST ******. I WAS TRADING IN 2022 BRAND NEW ALTIMA. THE ADVERTISING COMMUNICATED $8TH NO RESPONSE. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO DO. I CONTACTED ATTORNEY, AND WAS ADVISED THAT THIS IS PATERN FOR ********* IN THIS AREA AND THE **** WOULD NOT EXCEED THE OUTCOME.WHY WOULD A CREDIT UNION FONANCE A CAR AT 200% OF VALUE. I STILL ********* RECEIVED ANSWER. FOLLOWIN000 ABOVE DTRADE. I STARTED PAPERWORK AND THOUGT COMPLETE. I DECXLINED ALL EXTRAS. THE FINANCE COMPANY WAS ******. I WAS CALLED BACK INTO FINANCE OFFICE 3 TIMES AND CHANGES TO CONTRACT WERE JUST COMUNICATED AS COMMON OCCURANCE. I WAS ASSURED THAT THEY WOULD NOT IMPACT *****. I don't understand why my account would be locked and why my account transfer was reported fraud when my name is associated with the external account in transfer. In order for me to even be able to connect that external account you have to do your security verification which sends 2 deposits. So this is how new members are treated for transferring money. I'm sorry for any inconvenience but I feel I am being discriminated against when I called to get this resolved. So I am going to contact a lawyer if this matter is not resolved and my account unlocked and my money successfully transfered. I have two loans with this company and they have blocked me from logging in to my account to make any payments, also when I called I was told that I could not keep my credit card account active with this company until my car loan was paid. they have blocked me from keeping my credit card current and paid on time, now they are reporting my credit card over balance to the credit bureaus and are not allowing me to pay on my card.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: grow has been in contact in their terms. They sent me letters of late payment which my credit card has never been late. Now the minimum payment is over 700$. They are trying to finesse me into paying something without being able to log into my account. They have charged my credit file as over balance. This is unacceptable and terrible business.

When I asked about making the payment to my credit card I was rejected by their customer service and now my account is over balance and they are forcing me to pay almost 3 times the minimum payment due

There are two(2) inaccurate account information reported by Grow Financial FCU which are on my consumer report that are a result of Identity theft and inaccuracies still reporting in June 2023 even after a charge off. This is effecting my reputation, livelihood and ability to obtain new credit for past 7 years. I am requesting that these negative items be blocked and removed from my credit report in accordance with the 15 USC **** c-2 and 15 USC **** s-2. This provision allows the consumers to request that credit reporting agencies block the reporting of information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or that the consumer believes may be fraudulent or related to identity theft.
