Bought a vehicle from ******* ***** in **********, *******. their finance guy went through Grow Financial Credit Union and I have had no contact from them until a payment was due. I asked how they expect people to submit payments when they haven't even communicated or sent the account number? after finally calling them and getting through to some one, I also requested an official payoff letter so I can refinance with someone that is not a scammer. 2 weeks later I am still waiting on a pay off letter. the dirty crooks! they will rip you off! don't use them!

I do not recommend anyone to use this credit union for home, vehicle, or any other type of financial needs. I had been paying on my vehicle for 6+ years. I was dealing with some hardship and instead of working with me to get caught up on my payments they repossessed my car. Let me add that I only had 6K+ left to pay it off. They are only concerned about their own and the company. Do not deal with them! Go somewhere else for your financing needs.

Grow financial started out well for my companies needs. However, I find myself on the phone with them for 30-60 minutes weekly in order to approve transactions or make withdrawals from my account. I have asked repeatedly to have increased amount for my business and the best they offer you is 24 hour window. They do not allow you to control your account and have no problem stealing your time in order to go through their ridiculous steps to access YOUR MONEY! They couldn’t care less about the time you waste with them in order to run your business.

My fianc and I have been banking with the Grow Financial in ******, **. for going on 3 years and even though we moved 25 miles away two years ago, we love our bank so much that we dont even mind the travels. We love how they make us feel so comfortable and welcome every single time we go. ************************* is the manager at our branch whos been so great to us and the 3 women who work with him are super helpful and very friendly. Im so thankful for the people at our bank.

Worst bank in 54 yrs. I have POA for my mom in Nursing home, with dementia. The bank makes you have affidavit notarized and sent every time to talk to me, even though have POA. Her credit card behind, they have restricted her acct. I am not in same state, they continued to call and harass her, I had to threaten to hire attorney. First said could write checks, drove home 10hrs, got printed checks, now can't write checks, said I have to go in to withdraw funds. Finally had soneone tell me to do a handwritten letter to issue check to my address and include license. So far can't get verification that this was received and acceptable??? I would not recommend this bank to anyone ever! This had been months, with too much time, to much costs to me, driving down, driving 30 minutes to a notary in town, paying for gas and notary services every time, and still get run around.

I am writing with regards to the ********* ** location. My Father has a money market, savings, and checking account through this bank. Unfortunately my Father has moved into a *********** Facility in my home *********** after his Alzheimers diagnosis a few years ago. I am and have been his ***** of ******** since 2021. In an attempt to close his account with Grow ********************** they have made this whole process of moving him from his previous home in ******* and getting him settled so much more difficult and stressful on me. They first required the ***** of ******** papers and ID emailed, which I did on the same day of speaking with ***********************, the contact at that location. She then questioned the validity of the ***** of ******** document (which is signed by a judge and filed in the courthouse records in my town in **) and requested a personal letter from my ******** verifying the validity of the document. My attorney has been practicing law for many years and has never received this type of request but drafted the letter and , again sent it to *********************** by email the following day. She is now requesting an affidavit verifying my Drivers license provided and requires it notarized. While this is all happening, they closed the online banking for my fathers account stating that I am illegally accessing the account. I am now at the point where I cannot move funds needed to provide for his care in the facility and current bills that are automatically drafted out of his checking account. Prior to trying to close the account I attempted a transfer to an account I set up in ** specifically to pay for his care at the memory care facility and Grow Financial blocked that as well. It is obvious they do not want to do any work on their end but come up with ridiculous requests to further make the whole process of caring for my father more difficult with the added expense of attorney fees.

My husband wanted to change his Password for online banking account. he tried several times and it wouldn't work. *********** said they had LOCKED his account. he was locked out. if this ever happened before we just call customer service and they unlock the account with proper credentials . this time they said he would have to take his computer to somewhere and have it scanned for viruses. we took it to Geek Squad it cost him over $200.00 and they're keeping his computer for several days to check it out. we must present paper work to prove that the computer has been scanned and virus free or they won't unlock his online account. I think GROW ********************** is holding his account for ******* . Geeks said computer didn't show signs of viruses , but sending it in to be checked. He shouldn't have to PAY to get into his own account. he's been with GROW since MacDill Credit Union on the air base over 40 years.

I bought a vehicle 2020, in **, was financed by Grow financial. On 2021 I moved to TX and had a terrible accident and my vehicle the one I bought in ** was total loss. My insurance by then progressive paid part of what I owned, on this vehicle, the rest I try to used my gap insurance to cover what my insurance didnt paid. I call Grow financia let them know about the situation etc, they sent me lots of document to fill out and sent them back, since I dont have a fax machine I needed to drive to Office Depot to sent documents was like more than 10 trips to sent document via fax. Ill let Grow Financial know that I will like to used my gap insurance after transfer me a couple of times, ( we did all by phone) theyre in ***** Fla Im in **. I was using a rental vehicle my insurance provide me, anyway after many attempts calls, sending documents etc I was denied! They said that because I refinanced the vehicle I dont have gap, this refinanced was done through the phone and I ask the lady at Grow Financial that I want everything to stay the same gap and all I had just the payment change a little. Anyway they even sent me a letter so I can get a new vehicle! Until they finish with all the process. I did get a new vehicle thinking they were helping me, I was wrong at the end they denied gap! I had lots of conversations with them, I said why you guys sent me a document so I can get a new vehicle and then didnt approved gap! I had two car payments because of Grow financial if they would tell me since the beginning no we cant approve your gap I would not get no new vehicle.!! Im in the process, talking to a lawyer I had all document I sent them I they sent me. Im a widowed disable and dealing with this situation is horrible. My sister was helping me pay but she stop because she have her expenses, Im not working Im a military widowed living with my pensions. And at the end they sent the case to collections. After all the process they made me go through.

I just moved from Virginia where my original bank is, to Florida. I wanted to open a local account, so my GPS; led me to Grow Financial Federal Credit Union, and what an extreme disappointment, embarrassment, disgusting, unprofessional, stupid, and childish behavior I received from this bank. When I tried to transfer only $1750 from my Virginia bank A/C to this bank (Grow Credit Union in Tampa). All employees (the cashier, the receptionist, the financial manager, the fraud associate, and the branch manager) treated me as if I was a thief and a fraud person, trying to steal the bank's money (for pit sack, It was my money!) After I transferred $.50, $.49, and $5.00, they kept dragging their feet for every process, then they started to hang up the phone every time I tried to call the branch, then they stopped answering the phone. Then after five days of no result, I had to go to another bank and it took me half an hour to finish everything. There are so many complaints and unhappy customers about this Grow Financial Federal Credit Union. Can the BBB investigate and do something, such as shut down this business? PLEASE!!
