I agreed to pay them 1000 dollars a month to settle my debt. I been paying them since October 2022. To date the have only settled 1 debt for a little over ****************************************************************************************************************************** hang up do to being on the phone on hold for hours. I contact them by email. There response is to call them. Because of them not doing they job . I am now being sued by creditors. This company is a fraud. The steal your money by take advantage of people dealing with debt with promises of helping them. I hired them to stay out of bankruptcy. Now I have paid them right at ***** dollars. Only to be forced to file bankruptcy anyway. ***** is half of the debt I put in there program. I try calling them to get money refunded since they did not do the job the were paid to do and to give my all of my money back so I can pay it towards my bankruptcy.Initial Complaint

My wife and I entered into an agreement for debt consolidation in February 2023 with Level One Law. We were told to open an account with *************** as we did so they could pull money out to pay their fees and creditors as they settled individual accounts with our creditors. I paid $1221.12 per month and my wife paid $1038.96 per month for a year. Only about 5 accounts were ever settled and early this year we got notice about Level One Law/Srategic Solutions being sued for fraudulent activity and practices. We canceled our contract and closed our *************** accounts and got a minuscule amount refunded from that Global account. ********************** took over $24,000 of our money and have never earned or settled any account with those funds! I have called and sent emails requesting a refund for any and all unearned money to be refunded to us to no avail.Level One law only wanted us to resign a modified contract showing where they would only take out money in the future after accounts were settled! We refused as we canceled our contracts already and once again requested a refund. I said if you are willing to do what is right and not collect peoples money until after you settle an account then you should be willing to issue a refund of all money you have taken but not earned. Still as of today July ******* we have handled many creditors who tried to go to court and get judgments against us and will most likely have more to come. Level One Law has still never contacted us concerning any refund of our money.Initial Complaint

I opened an account on 29 August 23 with Level One Law at ***************************************************. Phone ************ for credit card relief.I had a monthly automatic withdrawl to them every month for approximately $1,300.00. I noticed my account had over $11,000 availabe to resolve the debts but no settlements had been made.I tired on line to make payments to two cards but discovered there was no ability to do. I contacted customer serive and requested funds be sent to cards that had low amounts. Nothing was done but I should contact customer service which returned me to the web site. I then requested cancelation and return of funds Case number ********. I received only $5496.30 from over $11,000.00. I called ad was told there was a charge for fees although Level One Law had not processed any debt relief actions. Request BBB Tampa secure the release of the balance of my funds. Appproxiately $5,503.70 was charged as a fee for not conducting any debt relief transactions for almost a year. Appreciate your assistance. Regards, ***********************Initial Complaint

Level One Law assured me that they would negotiate and settle my credit card debt and I would be debt free within 6 years. They made ACH withdrawals for $831 for 11 months totaling $9142 and made no attempts at settling any debt. After a month of trying to contact them I eventually told them to close my account and return my funds. I just got a check this week for $5200. They still have almost $4000 of my money. If this is supposed to be their fees, I cant justify that since they havent done anything to earn it. ****** been able to contact them again. Very frustrating. I feel stupid for trusting these scam artists.Initial Complaint

In December 2023, I signed a contract with Level One Law to assist with debt negotiation and resolution. Beginning in January 2024, I began to pay Level One Law direct debit from my checking account and moved into an account so ********************** could use the funds to resolve the debt. I was informed that they would call with updates, to which I never received. When I reached out via text (as I had communicated that way with one of the associates) my text was not returned, and my questions and inquiries about the status of my accounts, remained unanswered. On the first of the month since January 2024, funds have been automatically withdrawn from my checking account. No settlement or negotiation activity has been done about any of my accounts that I enrolled into the program to date. My accounts are now severely delinquent, and I am concerned with all the lawsuits and complaints against this company that leads me to believe they are not practicing business in good faith. I have not been able to connect with someone or a way to release me from the program. I would like to be released from the binding contract, and a complete refund of the money that I put in to date, plus any fees associated with the holding of my funds. I understand that there are complaints and reports that the company was charging and taking illegal fees from their customers.Initial Complaint

In October of 2022 I contacted Level One Law to help consolidate my credit cards after a traumatic event left me with excessive bills. I have paid them every month since 11/21/2022 and as of 6/2024 they have only paid one creditor $123 dollars. I have been contacting them for over 7 months to get a refund since they have violated our contract and have not held up their end of our agreement. They are unwilling to repay me and told me that they would refund me only $4600 of the almost $16000 I have paid them to save my credit and rebuild my life. I could have negotiated these myself and had all my creditors paid off had I not done business with Level One Law. I actually have done 3 of the credit cards myself and had to negotiate my own deals since they have failed to do what they promised. I have also contacted my assigned attorney who has refused to return one of my many calls and emails. This company has wronged me and I want my money back so I can negotiate my own debts. They are holding my funds and I deserve a refund for NO SERVICES rendered. They have not done one thing for me.Initial Complaint

This company, Level One, misrepresented the help to work with my creditors to pay credit card debt.$900 was taken from my bank each month and nothing was done to contact or help my situation. After a year, I realized this company was a scam.I got $5,000 back but have lost $7,000.So sad to read about so many others that trusted this fraudulent company.??Initial Complaint

I have been paying Level One Law $606.00 a month since November 2023. They have all my information but are doing nothing to represent me as was explained in my contract with them. They have not notified my creditors. No one answers phone calls to connect with them. By now I should be getting some kind of settlement offer from at least one of the three creditors added. I signed over to Level One Law my power of attorney for all three accounts. Company/"law firm" backed and ran a debt negotiation and relief payment program where they negotiate rates and pay off all ***** There is a lawsuit spanning 7 states and this company has stopped all processes in the contract and will not communicate a solution. They will not answer calls or follow up emails while they have STOLEN money from their clients. There is not direction or path out and they are not answering phones despite giving direction to call.Initial Complaint

Levelone Law firm July 2023 signed contract for debt consolidation, was informed this would take 7-9 months.Paid them $1022.17 a month since then. Received summons June 2024 and again July 2024, can't get a hold of anyone. No response to emails. Uploaded the summons to the portal- its that is credit card is in litigation, no other cards are. I have called several times, different times of the day, reached out to the sales person who we contracted this with, number is disconnected. We have no idea where to go from here.
