      Previously they simply failed to honor their specials, but now theyve lost favored shirts entrusted to them for cleaning and there is no one there with authority to do anything about it by either locating or financially reimbursing. The phone number they provided advising to speak with ***** simply doesnt connect.

      11/12/24, I came to the *** location on **************** to pick up my items and staff were unable to locate them. Since then, Ive had several conversations via text and email with *** staff about these items, but they have not been located. I can only assume that the items were lost. Im providing the timeline below that was also provided to the business in an email dated 12/14. 10/26/24 at 2:14pm I left an order for *jackets* (Order ******). I have a photo of the items just before they were dropped off as I always take photos of my items, so I can document what I dropped off.11/12/24, I came to pick up my jackets and was told that the items were not there. The clerk called to someone at another facility and was told that the items were picked up. Since then, I have had follow-up conversations with the *** staff:<> 11/15 and 11/19 I text for a status update. On 11/21, I got a response that *** has never had any of the jackets. I responded with a photo of my claim ticket. The person responded that they had not seen this documentation before, agreed that there was a work order made for the jackets and would check the whole storefront and other locations for the items.<> 12/2/24 I reached out for another status update via text. I got no response.<> 12/14/24 I sent a detailed email with all the documentation. No response. *** staff said the items were picked up; but they were not picked up by me. I asked to see evidence of pick up and payment, because the jackets were not picked up by me, which means my items were given to the wrong customer. I got no response to this request.Its been more than 60 days since I dropped off the items, so I can only conclude they are lost or given to the wrong customer. So now Im requesting compensation for my lost items. Ive been a customer of Quality Plus Cleaners for 8 years. I am very disappointed in the attempts to dismiss my situation, ignore my emails and not offer any compensation for my lost items.

      On 12/03/24, I took 3 items to Quality Plus Cleaners, **********************************************************. A man's suit to be dry cleaned and a woman's dress to be laundered. It was the first time the woman's dress had been cleaned. When I returned to pick up the items the dress had bled and was ruined. I was told that the label was misprinted. I purchased the dress from ******* and their quality control department has never had that dress returned for bleeding. They re-cleaned the dress and the result was the same. My receipt states that Quality Cleaners "dry cleaned" although the label clearly states launder in cold water. I have on multiple occasions been told someone would call me but that has not occured. I have tried to reach out to the numbers online for the main office and they are no longer is service.

      Two and a half weeks ago I took 2 NEW trousers to be hemmed from 30 to 29. ******, the employee, said that the trousers would be ready on 11/22/24 so I picked up the two trousers today, 11/22/24. I took them home and upon trying on the trousers I realized that nothing was ever done. The hems are exactly 30!! THE TROUSERS WERE NEVER HEMMED!!!! Very frustrating!! We cannot speak to the owner, he changes the company phone number frequently to avoid any contact by the employee or the clients. There are several complaints in the system already and clients have been waiting several months for a resolution. Garments are disappearing with no knowledge of their whereabouts and several services not being completed at all! THIS BUSINESS SEEMS TO BE VERY SHADY WHEN YOU CANNOT CONTACT OR WRITE TO THE OWNER TO DISCUSS OR WRITE A FORMAL COMPLAINT OR REQUEST A REFUND!!!

      I left several items to be dry cleaned on January 2, 2024. They were to be picked up on Jan 4,2024. One of my items, a silk men's *********************** was lost by the cleaners. they told me they were looking for the item, but it has never turned up. then the clerk told me they would put through a claim for me. They will not put me in touch with anyone at the main office. I have called the emergency hotline number on the door ************ several times. No one answers and they do not return my calls. Its been over four months! This was a silk shirt with an embroidered design that cost me $168.00.

      I am rejecting this response because:  I am attaching the information I have.  I don't keep original receipts from every item of clothing I purchase.  I've attached my credit card receipt and a picture of the shirt in question.  It is discontinued  but I found a picture on Ebay.  The shirt was $139.00 plus tax and shipping.  I had a $50.00 award card that I used, which brought the price to $115.36.   I'm copying the better business bureau on this as I don't trust the business to follow through, as I have had no success for four months.  I will drop this information off at the shop on ****************** within the next few days and will wait for a response from the business.  I will let you know if they respond.

      I took my clothes in on 12/23/23. Once I picked them up the young lady by the name ******* or ******* advised me that 1 article was missing and that it should be coming in the next day or so. It is now February 28th and I have not received my clothing. I did furnish her with a picture and amount paid for article on 1/31/24. I have been contacting her via text and she advised it has been sent to the corporate office. I went in to the store yesterday 2/27 /24 and a **** was working and advised me of same thing and submitted it again. I asked for management number, but it is the ************. Which no one answers. I'm at my **** end and going to call an attorney in reference as this is bad business and it's as if you stole from me. No one is taking accountability and you have no way of contacting them.

      On Sept 16,2023 I dropped off my 4 living room curtains and four bedroom curtains among others, and picked them up on September 28th. When we tried to hang the curtains in the living room there were huge spots down the front of one of them and very tiny spots of black all over the rest. Took them back to the cleaners and sent them back and nothing changed when I picked them back up. Checked on them numerous times and they would send them back to me, and I would send them back because the stains were still there. I called the head of customer service numerous times and they did absolutely nothing. This was over a period of a few months.In the end they said there was nothing more they could do and returned them looking worse than before. In the end they said there was nothing more they could do. Hem was torn out of one of the curtains, and it still had the spots/stains. Please note that I have had these curtains for 10 years but they look like brand new when I took them in. *** had them cleaned there numerous times over the years. I paid a little over $300 this time to get them cleaned and they ruined them. My living room curtains cover the sliders which is the length of my living room. Instead of dealing with me they just put me off and several times. I paid $700 for these curtains 10 years ago and I do not have any clue what it would cost to replace them now. I clean them every two years just to keep them good and this is what happened to them this time when I took them in. I just wanted them to be fair with me, when one of the 4 panels is ruined, it really ruins the whole set. I have given them numerous chances over three months to take care of this for me and they refuse, so this was my last resort. I have a few pictures that I had taken of what they did and I will send them along with this complaint. I would really appreciate any help that you could give me. Thank you for your time. I paid them $342 to start.

      We did take the drapes in and did have them cleaned. THe customer did sign a release which indicates that:

      curtains and draperies while hanging, occasionally develop soft area due to continued exposure to sunlight, heat, humidity and air pollution. As a result , in spite of the utmost care given to these items during our cleaning procdure, holes and tears may appear. Some faded areas may not be apparent due to soil coverage. Additional shrinkage may sometimes occur , due to the nature of the fabric, or because they were not fully preshrunk by the manufacturer for these reasons we will clean your draperies and / or curtains providing you agree to the following .

       

      we are not responsible for 

      sunfading 

      loss of color due to non-fast dyes

      tears or holes due to fabric degradation while hanging

      water stains which may darken due to the heat of the cleaning process.

      the customer signed the release and has also taken the drapes home from the store front. we did try to get the stains out but with futher cleaning due to the age of the items they will and have started to wear. This not a claim to be paid out due to the signed release and also the age of the items that hang in the Florida Sun.

      On September 26, I went to pick up a formal long dress that was being altered. It was a redo, since the 1st time alteration they did created another problem. I needed the dress for the 25 because I was flying out to another country the next day. They never called me on the 25. I gave them until the 26 and called them twice to find out if it was ready but no one answered, I left a message telling them I was going to pick up the dress after work because i was flying out that afternoon. When I went to the store, the dress was not ready. I had already paid $44.71 for the original alteration and I asked for a reimbursement since I was going to have to buy another dress in the country I was going for the wedding. The employee promised me that by my return on October 4, she was going to have my dress and my reimbursement ready for me. However, when I came back, my dress was ready but my reimbursement was not.

      I gave several items in for dry cleaning and laundry including this sweater (receipt attached)., in August 2023 I never got the sweater back I have several conversations via text and phone call ( upwards of 20). I have spoken with *****,( extremely rude lady) ************************ and ******. They will not give me an owners name, they keep saying the money will be refunded to me as they have lost my sweater, but NO one calls me back when they say they will. They keep putting me off day by day. THEY HAVE LOST a brand NEW sweater and will NOT refund me for the loss. I have sent copies of receipt via text ( I have all the conversations on my phone ). But STILL HAVE NOT refunded me the money. I have been a loyal customer of theirs for more than 5 years .. and THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT LOYAL CUSTOMERS PLEASE USE QUALITY PLUS CLEANERS AT YOUR OWN RISK,!!

      On 6/17/2023, I dropped off 3 clothing items [********** ********* and *********] for alterations at Quality Plus Cleaners store #** located at *************************************** *****, ** *****. Employee named *** charged my credit card upfront for the total amount of $81.38. *********** the business owner made changes and customers are now required to pay upfront. Moreover, *** charged me higher per item compare to the displayed price list on the desk in front of the store. She stated the owner had increased the price. I was told the alterations will take a week to complete.On 6/19/2023, I decided to return to the store and spoke to ********************************* I told her that I changed my mind and picked up the 3 unfinish clothing items that I dropped off for alterations. I also requested a refund for $81.38. Per Ms ******* employee *** should not have charged my card upfront as it is against company policy. Moreover, she stated that I was charged higher price per item for alteration compare to the displayed price list on their front desk. Unfortunately, as a manager, she wasn't allowed to provide the refund directly to me as it will have to be approved by someone else from their headquarters.I returned to the store multiple times since then to inquire about my refund. It has been more than 5 weeks and still no new status yet. To date, Quality Plus Cleaners store #** still owes me my refund. Customer should not have to wait this long to get a refund. Fortunately, I used my credit card and reported the issue to them. I'll let them deal directly with this dishonest business.
