  We had Home Service Heroes come out to service our AC unit because it was not cooling our house. The tech came out and said we had a roofing nail in our coil and it was causing freon to leak. He also said we had a leak in the air handler and quoted us $3500 to repair the leaks, this was the labor charge because our unit is still under warranty. We were also quoted almost $10K for a brand new unit which he recommended we do. Our current unit is only 4.5 years old so it should still be in fairly good condition. They charged us $380 to diagnose the problem (that doesn't exist) and add freon. I called a family member who is in the HVAC industry and he recommended we get a second opinion, so we did. We called the company that installed the original unit (Air Divine) and he came out, found no leaks and no roofing nail. He said our problem was the capacitor was bad. He replaced the capacitor and everything is working great now. He said our unit should last us another 5+ years. It is extremely upsetting that a company would try to take advantage of people the way Home Service Heroes does.

  When calling around for an electrician, everyone charged a service fee, then if you choose them they will deduct it from your bill. I saw their advertisement on TV and called them and set up an appt. They came out, the team was most professional. I needed an outlet replaced. They gave me an estimate which was in the same ballpark that two other quotes had come in. I went with them because they were able to fix it while they were here. Others had to reschedule. They did a home check which others did not offer, and informed me of another issue that needs to be addressed sooner or later. Just advised me. I would highly recommend them for any electrical problems you may have. They are very professional, on time, always give a quote for service, not pushy at all, warranty their work for 5 yrs. Great company!!! They do not leave until they know you are completely satisfied.Thanks,**************

  They wanted to charge 979. To replace vent in bathroom. The man without my permission took out another vent. He then went to home depot bought a vent for 21.00 that didnt fit. Left holes in my ceiling where an animal can enter my house. Chipped ceiling paint in both rooms, messed up wall and tried to cover with my personal belongings. He broke the aluminum vent in ceiling. Left insulation throughout my house to front doir. Left insulation on clothes and paint chips all over. Took me hours to clean up and left with holes in my ceiling and destroyed my ceilings
