We replaced the homeowner's damaged garage door with the garage door make and model that he chose.  Per the homeowners urging, we were able to get his garage door replaced within 24hrs because his garage door was damaged beyond repair. It is not the contractor's responsibly to know each neighborhood's rules and regulations.  That is up to the homeowner.   About a week after we installed the door, the homeowner received notice from his HOA that the garage door he chose did not comply with his HOA's pre-selected garage door styles.  The homeowner did not take responsibility for this oversight and expected us to incur the full cost of purchasing and installing a second garage door.  We did not agree with him and filed a complaint with the BBB.
