1 starI live in Lecanto, Fl. I put a work order in for large tree limbs hanging over my roof to be trimmed/removed. I received a vm stating it was being taken care of. Trees and limbs were removed on several other lots, but not mine, and my work order was closed. I opened a second work order and this time I received an email stating that I would need to have it taken care of myself. I emailed back asking what the criteria was for the trees that had been removed from the other lots and I am still waiting, several months now, for the answer. In the meantime, a tree has totally crushed another mobile home in this park.Review fromSteven D

A realtor who sells Mobile Homes in Bedrock in Ruskin stole my $2500.00 deposit after I refused to buy the home.My home inspector and myself demanded for a month to get access back on the property for an inspection and he refused all demands made by us.the owner of the business he works for knew what her employee realtor had done and also refused to refund my money. Tried twice to sue both of them but the business address on the Internet goes back to a empty home in Riverview. Bedrock still allows this same realtor to do business on their property.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Under Florida Statute *******, a manufactured home community cannot restrict or prevent a homeowner from selling a home using the broker or agent of his or her choosing. Unfortunately, the community cannot control the conduct of third-party brokers. The law prevents us, as the community owner, from barring or prohibiting homeowners from using a specific broker, even if that broker is harming buyers or other consumers.
The ********************************************************** (****) and the ************************************ (DMV) are responsible for regulating manufactured home brokers. We recommend that you file a complaint against the broker who is acting wrongfully with the **** and DMV.We are sorry to hear that this has happened to you. Please let us know if we can be of additional assistance.
Respectfully,
Bedrock Communities

This company has been a nightmare since they took over our community and it became corporate. Shortly after they bought the community we live in, a big limb from an Oak tree on a neighboring lot fell on our mobile home. They gave us the hardest time about cutting the remainder of it down and the repairs. Finally they did come cut it down, and obviously we were stuck with the home repairs. We also have another huge oak tree that’s completely leaning over our bedroom, we kindly asked them if they could cut it down too (feeling unsafe at this point), but they said NO. We tried to contact a lawyer but the park owners wanted to play dirty and threaten us with their lawyer in return. If this other tree did uproot or fall we would be dead in any part of the house really. They wrote a new prospectus shortly after this incident and stated that now we are responsible for the maintenance of the trees, where as before with the old owners they maintained everything being that we don’t own any of the land and it’s technically their property. The new prospectus also states, we can’t touch the trees without a permit because they are protected trees, but yet we are to maintain them? Flash forward a year later or so, I come home to them cutting a huge tree down next door for a new resident, and they have multiple trees marked to remove so they can put a bigger mobile home on that lot. I’m appalled that they wouldn’t even consider removing the other tree that we have dangerously leaning over our heads at night. I clearly see that money for lot rent is the priority and not the safety of their community. It’s also very apparent that most everyone in this community can break something in the prospectus and yet they don’t get in trouble. I kept quiet this long, but after seeing this stuff going on now I’m livid and I want something done about the dead tree that could kill us.Bedrock Communities

Worst place I have ever lived. Management constantly lies about doing repairs. I have documented proof trying to get a powerpole repaired for 2.5yrs. Last week it caught on fire and was throwing sparks out of the elec. box. They didn't return my calls. text or emails. Instead they had an electrician call me. He did come out, made the absolute minimum repair and left. The box is ready to fall of of the pole. Again. management are liars, wont return your calls, text or emails, they will only fix the absolute minimum, they do NOT communicate with the residents they are slum lords. DONT rent here.Bedrock Communities

1 starStill waiting for deposit money. Moved out December 1st and now it’s been 90 days overdue. Never get reply from texts. Just spoke to her and she wouldn’t give me corporate number. She said she would reach out to (Tammy) at corporate office. I bet she doesn’t reply.

We have been renting an RV from Mr. L****** that is located within the Bedrock Communties in Riviera Beach. We paid rent to Mr. L****** via Cashapp however, due to heath problems, he asked if we could pay the lot fee to the property manager and then send him the remaining balance via Cashhapp. Apparently there were some legal issues between Bedrock Communities and Mr. L****** that we, the residents, were unaware of. I sent an email to the property manager regarding an issue I was having getting my mail to which they replied by asking for my phone number. I gave it to them and I was called immediately. The manager informed me then that an eviction was in process and that all the money orders we had been giving them had never been cashed. So if I had never sent an email about the USPS, when would we have been contacted and notified that this was going on? Fast forward to yesterday, we found out the Mr. L****** had passed away. So we had no idea about the eviction nor that the owner of the property had died. I requested sufficient time to be able to move as, again, we were never notified of an eviction just to get an email from their attorney advising that they could not give me any information! So here I sit, writing this review, with absolutely no idea what my future living situation is going to be.

Thank you for contacting Bedrock Communities.
We have sent you a private e-mail to help connect you with our attorney to see if they may be able to assist you. Because you are not renting from Bedrock Ocean Tide and not the owner of the home, we are limited to what information we can provide that is not public record.
Again, thank you for reaching out. All feedback helps ** do better.
