  If I could give these movers 0 stars I would. This is a bait and switch operation. Quoted $90/hr for 3 hrs (total $270) and took a $102 deposit over the phone. Day of move they call to say the truck is 3 hours late and that its an extra $160 for my washer/dryer and another $185 for truck rental, which was NEVER discussed. These people are unethical and scammers. Do not hire them under any circumstance.

  STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!!!1. Won't let me pay with Venmo. ***** listed on invoice as an option.2. Charged for disassemble and assemble when informed it is included per email and phone conversation. 3. Charged for stairs when I already informed house is 2-story.4. Charged for moving washer and dryer when already informed them.5. Was told they would match price but after arrive at new house, wants to charge way more. 6. Held our belonging hostage in their truck and refuse to unload if we don't pay double the original quoted amount. 7. Movers drag their feel while moving to extend time. 8. Movers smoke while moving our items.

  On Friday, March 31, 2025, I hired Insta Movers for a scheduled move, with a quoted price of $315 for 3.5 hours of service. The movers arrived at 8:00 AM, but their truck hit a tree branch in my apartment complex, causing police involvement. Due to a language barrier (the driver did not speak English), I had to translate between the driver and the police, delaying the move by approximately 40 minutes. The movers then proceeded to pack my belongings, taking an unusually long time. They handled personal items such as my underwear and bras with dirty hands and without asking for permission, which I found invasive and unprofessional. Once we arrived at my new address, I received a call from a company representative who told me I owed $1,450 due to “additional items.” Due to noise and the fact that English is not my first language, I initially misunderstood and thought he said $400. When I received a payment confirmation for $1,450, I was shocked. I protested, citing the original quote and the delays caused by their own actions. The representative told me that unless I paid in full, they would not return my belongings. Feeling threatened and without any other option, I paid the full amount. The representative was extremely rude and dismissive, and I felt mistreated and ************* against due to the language barrier. This felt like an act of linguistic bias and an attempt to take advantage of someone who does not speak English fluently. I am seeking a partial refund and a formal apology from the company for their unprofessional conduct and unethical treatment

  Title: Beware: Deceptive Pricing and Unethical Practices?Review: I recently hired InstaMovers Florida for my relocation, enticed by their initial low estimate. However, upon delivery, I was shocked when the final bill was nearly double the original quotea 70% increase! The movers, paid hourly, seemed to deliberately prolong the process, leading to inflated costs.After researching, I discovered numerous others with similar grievances. For instance, a customer reported being quoted $450, only to be charged over $1,300 upon delivery. Another mentioned a $270 estimate that ballooned to over $600.Such patterns suggest a systematic bait-and-switch tactic. I urge potential customers to exercise caution and thoroughly vet this company before considering their services.

  Wish I could give 0 stars. Cancelled my service the next day which was over a month away from the scheduled service. Was promised a refund of the deposit. Never received this and they stopped responding to my emails. Disputed with my credit card company and still did not get my refund. Stay away from these terrorists.

  I wish I had read your reviews before ever contacting you, live and learn. I agree fully with those experiences similar to mine of inflammation of price and unsatisfactory business ethics/ practices reporting. It was extremely threatening and intimidating towards myself. Not only to emphasize my horrible experience with your business! Crimes against the Elderly is a very serious offense. I will be exploring every avenue to proceed according to the law! ***** You have so many negative reviews, I wish I would have checked. And they/you never responded to my claim of a broken television and compensation.

  Absolute worst company to ever work with, o dealt with **** who said they were having a a great sale and had an original quote of 320$ bc I was moving from one apartment in our complex to another that was about a football field away. At first the workers were nice, barely spoke English but was fine with one guy who could speak some English. They started and I ended up asking him if I could help start moving the little stuff to the truck since I didnt want to go over our time limit because before they even started I got a call from the office saying it looked like more than 2.5 hours of work BEFORE THEY EVEN STARTED. Mind you this is a 800 square foot apartment on the first floor. Then one of the workers I guess got mad because we were moving small thing to the truck and hid for 20 min while calling and complaining to the office when the guy who spoke English said it was fine to help and he said thankyou for helping!!! Literally is comical, then I get a call from office saying that Im not allowed to help move anything but they will let it slide this time and then they go to tell me the price after they get to the next apartment and it was double the first quote and there MANAGER said they would leave on curb if I didnt like the quote. Absolute horrible customer service. Ended up just letting them do it and they charged me for 4 hours and they ***** there for 3 then I ask for a refund for the last hour and they go to tell me that they didnt charge me extra fees and that if I were to go through with the refund they would charge me even more for some stupid fees that they made up like long distance walks feee 100$ per way which I live in an apt what do you expect? Then they said they were going to charge me extra for stairs when I was on the first floor and I told them that there were stairs! All because I wanted a refund because they charged me for 4 hours and they were there for 3. WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND WILL DOUBLE THE PRICE.

  Helped a lady move as she did not have the strength to lift all the heavy household goods and was amazed they could move her out of a 3 bedroom house and a quote done over the phone with a sales guy called **** who sounded pleasant and gave me a good low cost move quote based on being a new customer to get a discount....then the next day they pack the lady's belongings into their truck and before it was offloaded at her new residence had me on the phone to hold all her house hold goods on the truck as ****** for a much higher new quote citing many extras not quoted in initial phone call and had me at a ****** demand to pay 4 times the original quote or they would not deliver her belongings and hold them in a warehouse where the fees would acrue daily for storage charges and no delivery would be made without then a new truck delivery quote if and when the original charges made with all penalties and storage charges made!!-This is a total delivery scam company to be avoided and trap you with signing their small print contract which gives them power to basically make charges they deem extra despite the lower ",**** you into their"scam trap pretending the 1st quote is more than accurate then you must pay the rip off new price before goods offloaded!!-disgusting company so never deal with Instamovers, FL YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!WHY WAS I FORCED TO PAY $2200 OVER THE ORIGINAL QUOTE WITH **** THE DAY BEFORE OF $450 !!(,over 4 times the original quote having had assurances that 450 would do the job and even if he had made a mistake the new higher price makes no sense anyway you look at it)

  Don't use this company! I got a great quote, was forced to stay on phone with "Mike" while I was pressured into making a deposit. They wanted me to sign some crazy credit authorization form which I refused, read their reviews n canceled. I was told my Mike on a recorded line that as long as I canceled within 3 days b4 move the deposit would be refunded. I canceled that same day n over 2 weeks prior to the move. They still charged my card even though I was told it would not be. I got the bank handling it but they suck n r horrible scam company! Do not use!
