I had the toll truck drop my vehicle off was never notified in regards to my vehicle being dropped off .I contacted dealership and they couldnt find my vehicle blame the toll truck people for not leaving key when the complaint was the key is stuck in the ignition. After locating my vehicle ******* reached out stating the part will be in the following weeK. I received a text message stating that my vehicle was ready. I ask was there any additional issues? ******* texted he has to run a diagnostic.I was told I will receive a full diagnostic and the cost will go to my repairs .I was told about issues regarding my vehicle after he stated it was ready. Never nothing about the battery but I did decline all other services .After 2 weeks of my car there I was expecting to get a invoice with the all the issues and prices /labor thats why I ask about financing.I went to my vehicle after paying . Every mechanic let they client test the vehicle before leaving the lot .******* was upset I express my frustration as far as a real advisor/mechanic have they customer leave with everything fixed or a invoice so they can come back to get it fixed. definitely headlights he told me my car will cost **** s I said I dont care about how much it cost I just wanted my car fixed he threatened to call the police because I spoke the truth . How you give me a invoice with a break down without doing a diagnostic when I got to my car it wouldnt turn on ***** the manager said my battery was dead they will give me a jump I need a new battery. My car shut off in the middle of the road .I then went to buy a battery and then now the key is still stuck in the ignition. I thought thats what I paid ******* for The MAIN ISSUE WAS NOT RESOLVE .Why state my car is ready and its running if the battery needs to be replace a car runs off of battery .How did you check if my key work if the battery was dead thats why my key is still stuck in the ignition

      1. the tow truck dropped the car off and never came in to tell the service department it was here. There is a lot of cars on the property and not all for the service department so we did not and could not know the car was here until the customer called.

***** car was dropped here with the dead battery and left with the same dead battery. she did know the battery was dead being we had to jump it before she left so not sure why she would shut it off at the gas station 15 minutes after leaving here. she did call ** and tell ** that she did have to have it towed again because it would not start but she left here with the battery dead and she declined to have the dealer do any other work that would cost here any more money and the battery was only one of the major things going on with the car. we could have installed a new Battery for a price but we had to call the police to have her removed from the property because she was yelling very loud in front of all the other guest paying for repairs. she did leave before the police showed ** at the dealer. keep in mind the battery has nothing to do with what was wrong with the repair she paid for.

      3. she is claiming that the repair we made was still not fix but the key was stuck when it was dropped off by the tow truck and not when she picked it up. The repair made at the dealer has a 12 month 12k warranty at any dealership if that same part has failed.

      4. The repair made here was for one repair not to fix anything else wrong with the car we will not work any car that is owned by or refund any money that was spent on the repairs made

On march 31st I brought my car in for an 80k mileage service I specifically asked for this service. At the end I was charged $569 and the 80k service was not on my paper anywhere. My car after the fact was leaking oil, tire alignment still off, as well as a ripped headliner in the car. The service manager refused to speak directly to me. They fixed my oil leak, so I thought, and I told them I was going to check footage of my Dashcam to see if they did rip my headliner on my roof and when they gave me my car back my dash camera was unplugged. My dad proceeded to come to dealership to solve my last few problems and every time he comes to service department says the service manager isn't in that day. My car recently has started leaking oil again not as fast as it was the first time around. My car was completely fine bringing it in absolutely no issues. I'm moving to Colorado and I'm driving it and wanted it done before I left to ensure my drive go as smooth as possible and what I got back was a Broken car. Today April 15th I got in contact with the head of the dealership. Mr.k. was absolutely no help and told me what the service department told him and said if I still want the 80k mileage service that was never given to me, that I was told that's what I was paying for last time which actually wasn't, I could bring my car back in but have to pay again another $400 dollars for that servicing but it's the servicing I originally asked for and the servicing they actually did isn't even done my car still pulls to the right and is leaking oil! When I bought this car last year April my side view mirror was glued in. All in all something has to give at this dealership I truly believe they are scamming people for extra money when it comes to fixing their cars and doing the bare minimum horrible quality work.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/15) */ she was asked if she wanted the 80k service at write up but wanted the oil change only. she wanted the four wheel alignment, she wanted us to check the lights on her dash, she did the induction service that was told she needed but she declined the wheel speed sensor that was needed to fix her lights on the dash. At no point would tech need to touch her headliner nor would we need too. After service was done and paid for we did receive a call from the father saying we ripped his daughter off because we did not give her the coupon that was on the web site so we did cut her a check back for the difference even though it reads must show Advisor at time of write up. she did bring the car back in and said it was leaking oil and we found the oil housing leaking so we fixed it at no charge to her. We have been more than fair to the customer and Kuhn would be willing to 80k service but there would be a charge for that service and not giving the customer a refund for work the was done. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/04/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I was asked if I was there for an oil change to which I responded NO the 80k servicing. I also have the text message to where I asked if the total price included the 80K servicing. When I called with my father I was told you guys do not offer an 80K service package I have a friend who was with me at the time of pick up who can confirm the fact you did indeed rip me off. As well as my car is still leaking oil. I said multiple times when I came for the oil leak my alignment was still off which wasn't fixed and is still off. Id like the paperwork showing that all my alignment is green that the service department should have on file. And attached is me confirming with the technician that it was an 80k service done that I requested and was under the impression I was paying for that wasn't done. Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2022/04/25) */ WE ONLY CHARGED THE CUSTOMER FOR THE OIL CHANGE SO IF SHE WANTS THE 80K SERVICE WITCH THE OIL CHANGE IS PART OF THE 80K SERVICE SHE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT BEING THAT SHE WAS NOT CHARGED FOR IT. WE DID ONLY WHAT WAS ON THE REPAIR ORDER AND NOTHING ELSE. WE DID NOT MAKE HER CAR LEAK OIL BUT WE REPLACED A OIL HOUSING AT NO CHARGE TO HER. WE DID NOT TOUCH HER HEADLINER, WE DID NOT CHARGE HER FOR ANY REPAIR THAT WAS NOT TALKED ABOUT AT THE TIME OF WRITE UP. WE DID SEND A CHECK BACK TO THE CUSTOMER BECAUSE THERE WAS A COUPON ON LINE THAT SHE DID NOT RECIVE BECAUSE SHE DID NOY DO WHAT THE COUPON AND ALL SERVICE COUPONS READ (MUST SHOW ADVISOR AT TIME OF WRITE UP) IM NOT SURE WHY ANYONE AT ANY SHOP WOULD AGREE THAT DOING THE TYPE OF WORK THAT WAS DONE ON THE CAR WHOULD ANY TECH ANYWHERE NEED TO TOUCH THE HEADINER. AS FOR THE GREEN ALIGNMENT SHEET I WILL HAVE THE SCANING COMPANY PULL THE COPY AND PUT IN THE MAIL FOR THE CUSTOMER ADRESS ON FILE.

Terrible service department took my car in because the check-engine and I wanted to know what was wrong tech takes car and after 1 hr the service tech (Brian V. ) comes over and tell me I need spark plugs and decarbonization and give me a price , I tell him I can't afford it at this moment he then tell me that if I just change the plugs that the misfire and check engine light will go away but eventually I would have to get the decarbonization done.. I agree and tell him to change plugs the car gets done I pay and guess what the check engine light still on , I go back in tell tech and their answer is I need to get the decarbonization done in order to get the check engine light off .... this is misdiagnosed or switch and bait ....If I knew it wasn't going to resolved the issue I would have waited until I had all the money to fix it I would like my $309.81 return or car repaired as my issue didn't get resloved Like

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/08) */ To whom it may concern. Mr *****' vehicle was in our shop for a check engine light. As stated on his service receipt line 2 was for a check engine light concern, we explained to him this was due to carbon build up and recommended an engine decarbonization along with spark plugs. The customer opted to do only the spark plug portion and not to remove the engine carbon build up due to the cost of the repairs. We did advise Mr ***** that by doing just the spark plugs this would not clear the check engine light because of the carbon build up repair was not done. If the customer chooses to return, we would be happy to apply a 15% discount on the cost of the engine decarbonization for customer satisfaction. The spark plugs that were installed in his car and as stated Approved in his above complaint was due to be replaced due to time and wear and we will not offer a refund for this repair. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/03/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) If I knew it was not going to shut off the check engine light off I would of never change the spark plugs only how was that going to help my car. Why waste my money to put new plugs to keep check engine light on I would of waited to get the decarbonization done and it would be fix once and for all ... I believe the dealership should of told me that it would not shut engine light off and I would of done the whole job it like buying new clothes and not taking a shower. Explain how did the new plugs help my car because when I do the decarbonization I would need to replace plugs again ...service tech should advise a customer best option not a band aid they are supposed to be the experts.15% off $899 is $134 new plugs $300 so dealer give wrong advise and we pay ... Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/03/12) */ The spark plugs were faulty due to the carbon that is why they needed to be replaced. you do not need to replace them again when you do the decarb on the intake the plugs that we installed are good for 30k miles. we offered you a discount to do the rest of the job witch would cover most of the money back for the spark plug replacement (goodwill) and the offer still stands.

I own a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid and one day I noticed the car having transmission issues. I first took the vehicle to Volkswagen of Brandon services department and spoke to Carlos who informed me the car had a recall on this specific transmission issue. Once they ran the diagnostic and the results stated that I needed a brand new transmission, which cost $9500, they no longer would honor the recall and wanted me to pay full price for it. They did not charge for the diagnostic however. After that I decided to get a second opinion and had the car towed to Kuhn Volkswagen. Now at Kuhn Volkswagen they told me I needed a new battery $300 before they could even run the diagnostic, so I payed. Once I arrived to pick up the car I was charged a total of $648 which includes the $300 for the battery. Once I was given the keys I tried to start the car but it would not start at all and one of the techs informed me the it has never started, but the car had been starting right up just fine.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/21) */ Good afternoon. We strive to provide the best level of service that we can for our customers. This vehicle was towed to our lot from VW of Brandon. It was never running since we've had it. If it had been running, it wouldn't have needed to be towed. We ran a diagnostic on it and charged the customer for this service (which we do with all of our customers) as well as a battery. While the customer may not be satisfied with the result of our diagnostic/finding, this does not warranty any type of refund given our records. The customer needs to tow his vehicle from our lot. Thank you.

A vehicle was sold to my daughter after her discharge from the Army. The vehicle broke down within 2 weeks and had to have the turbo charge replaced at 1100 dollars. Then the car started leaking oil and has to have the valve cover gaskets replaced. The dealership has no interest in selling quality vehicles or fixing their problems

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/24) */ during the as is inspection we complete a safety check before we put on the lot. we replaced all four tires, four wheel alignment, engine air filter, ac pollen filter, front brake job, brake fluid flush, engine spark plugs, front wiper blades. The dealer spent $1600.00 before allowing it to be shown on the lot. this car was sold AS IS that was clearly shown on the customers paperwork that the customer singed at time of delivery. We would be happy to look at the car to help with work that the customer is being told that it needs at a discounted price but the car would have to be looked at here for diag. the dealer sold this car AS IS.
