I was helping a family member look for an apartment, so we both filed for applications. We payed our dues and applications fees for the art avenue apartments In Lee vista. We took the loos because we found a better apartment complex to rent from. I currently have a tax collection agency saying we owe the apartments almost $600 dollars for dues we already paid and have evidence in our bank statement that both were paid ! I tried disputing it to Transunion and sent proof of documents and the company is saying that it's accurate. Ridiculous! I've attempted multiple time to reach out to Robins property associates LLC and have reached no one. It prompts to leave a voicemail which no one has or ever will return. I'm trying to remove this off my credit report as it is affecting it highly. I tried calling the collection. AND the actual apartment managers and none have helped. All they say is they don't have information that can help and to contact Robbins!

We thank the resident for taking the time to make Robbins Property Associates aware of this complaint. We apologize for the delayed response as we are just receiving the information regarding this matter. Based on our records, two applicants applied for an apartment on 4/18/2021 and paid a $75 nonrefundable application fee per person plus a one-time nonrefundable administration fee of $250.00 for a total of $400.Applicants were contacted about the approval of the application and provided information on deposits and move in. After approval, the management office attempted to contact the applicants again to schedule and finalize details for the move in.  After several failed attempts, the application was cancelled due to no response from either applicant. On 6/24/21, the non-refundable payments of $400 were reversed by the applicants through their banking institution resulting in all payments made to the property to be returned due to insufficient funds (NSF). Applicants received a final account statement reflecting a balance due of $550 to include the returned payments of $400 + $150 in NSF fees. The file was transferred to **************** Services due to non-payment. Applicants have paid the full balance to **************** Services, Inc. and should contact them at ************ if they have any additional questions regarding this matter.

The Property manager Kayla B at Boynton Place apartments owned by Robbins Associates, placed a notice to vacate to our unit because we were upset about the pool being closed during the summer. On the 29th of June, my wife and two kids went down to the pool, she saw that the gate was locked and went into the leasing office to ask the attendant why the pool was locked during the summer and how long before it reopened. The attendant replied and said that the sign was on the door and quickly dismissed them as she was on her personal phone. Due to this my wife got agitated and as they were walking out, she pulled the Pierce of paper off the door. On June 30th we were handed a notice to vacate. We have been living here for 5 year and have never been late or missed a payment on rent. There was not consideration for the pool being closed, which is an amenity included in the pricing. She wanted us out, she wanted us going for the slightest reasons. The leasing manager has argued with my wife before over a stove replacement in our unit and she has held a personal vendetta against us since then. We are asking that you help us, if not, we'll be out on the street and it's not because we couldn't afford it! We have never violated anything on our leasing agreement the entire 5 year we've been living at Boynton Place Apartments.

I have been going back and forth with my leasing office at Vue on Lake Monroe since the ending of last year. My family and I moved from Virginia Beach to Sanford in July of 2021. Within one month, my neighbors underneath were banging on my floor because my 2 year old was running around, as well as called the police for domestic violence several times. Which happened on numerous occasions. I informed my leasing office. As I pay rent like everyone else, asked for assistance in moving units in which they said could not do unless I paid the new rent price which I could not afford so I stayed in my unit and continued to be borderlined harassed by the people under me. Because of the numerous calls for domestic violence, my child's father was removed from the home and a no contact order was issued. I requested him to be off the lease, I provided contact information, as they said it was something that would need to be signed in person. I never heard from my manager in regards to my lease again until I reached out to terminate my lease on May 9th as this was something I requested in March. As I already went back to Virginia as it was just me & my daughter living there with too much going on. I reached out to corporate numerous times, no response. I went back and forth with my leasing manager multiple times, he gave push back. As it is a enforced bill that a domestic violence victim, actual or threatened, can terminate the lease effectively immediately upon written notification without penalty. And quite frankly I care about my safety of my child and I more than keeping a lease. I went to turn my keys in per notice given and none of my paperwork was ready to sign off and in addition is charging me for not turning in the keys that day, as the leasing agent was completely clueless. Yet I continue to get push back from them or no response from corporate. I attached all communication with the leasing office as well as sent a written letter with receipts to support my inquiry.

We thank the resident for taking the time to make Robbins Property Associates aware of this matter. We apologize for the delayed response as we are just receiving the information regarding this complaint. We do regret that this resident did not have a more positive experience in our community, however, based on our records, all proper policies and procedures per the lease agreement were followed. The request for leaseholder release was granted once proper documentation was completed. After the additional leaseholder was released, our community manager made several attempts to contact the resident via email and phone to discuss all options for lease renewal, transfer, or termination. Once the resident let us know that they would be terminating the lease, they were provided detailed information on the process for doing so. Once this process was completed, the resident was released from the lease and charged rent under the terms of the lease until the keys were returned to the management office. This file has been turned over to our collection company, therefore, any requests for a billing adjustment must be made through ************************** **** by contacting ************.
