We have nothing to do with the courthouse as we state in bold print on our envelopes. I will be glad to address your concern and will need to understand what may have taken place. I do not see that you have contacted me regarding this matter before this complaint to the BBB. We are always here to answer all questions and concerns threw our website. I see you have had m any complaints about this and read the company responses. I now guess I do not have to respond nor worry about losing my property.       I went to the Pasco county office where the deed is filed.  The man there told me that letter I sent you was a scam and not an official letter. 

      He said it was a LLC company trying to get me to pay big bucks for something I already have and could get from his office free.

      We try our very best to let everyone know that this is not a bill. We provide an email address for anyone to email us with there questions and concerns, just as we responded to your inquiries as well and I provided you with a wealth of information. We are a copy service and provide a service with a fee. Just as you were able to use our letter to get your own deed which anyone can do if they like. Many homeowners are unaware of many of these deeds recorded in the public records and ours letters our a wealth of information. Not sure why the BBB complaint as you were able to get your deed using our data collection, which is part of our services.

      I would be upset as well if I had paid for something and not gotten the item. I can assure you we will look into this. The most common reason that someone does not receive their deed is an undeliverable mailing address. I am so sorry this may have happened to you.

      I received a letter asking to send $127.00 to get a copy of a property deed. This letter only listed a P.o. box as an address and no phone numbers. I want whoever these people are to remove my name and address from their file *** stop asking me to send money for something I can get from my county for no charge.       This company sends deceptive mail ins that look like a billing from an official County office. Even a due date to pay them. Rather it is offering to send a copy of deed information that is available for free and most people already have. It states there was a recent transaction which is not try ( over 4 years ago). This company is praying on seniors and extracting $127 for something available for free and in a VERY DECEITFUL MANNER.

      I received a deceptive and misleading Invoice from "COUNTY RECORDS OFFICE" which included personal information about us and our ** property. It also came at a time we were expecting our POLK COUNTY tax bill. The invoice intentionally and repeatedly references POLK COUNTY as if the County Records Office is affiliated with Polk County. The invoice has a Response Date and Service Fee of $127 and was mailed to my residence in **************. I'm so thankful to the BBB for making the trickery of this company known which has unfortunately misled other consumers, especially the elder who do not have as much ability to research these types of things. They list no phone number, only an email address which is also designed to deceive ******************************** This business should be investigated for their attempts to deceive consumers and should be required to include a phone number and means to opt out of all future contact/communication.       I am rejecting this response because it is clearly deceptive marketing as indicated on numerous other BBB complaints and is not obviously not clear that "everyone knows this is a solicitation and not a bill" but a ***************  Again, as evidenced by the number of complaints here, it is false that "most people understand this".  At first glance, I was deceived so I can only imagine an elderly person or other vulnerable consumers.  The name alone is deceptive as is the appearance of the "invoice" and is not clearly identified to be any type of copy service.    As per my previous request, I request to be removed from all communications from your company and request confirmation of same.  I am opting out of all communications and would like this acknowledged.

      This particular business presents itself in fraudulent manner. I have a PhD and was still very concerned when I first received the official-looking "invoice" from County Records Office, LLC.The "invoice" is very convincing and appears to be an official government document when first viewed. The information contained in the letter were also inaccurate for the following reasons:1. Incorrect owner name listed (completely wrong name, nationality, 2nd so-called "owner" also incorrect, etc, etc)2. Wrong date (by over a year) listed for supposed "deed transfer"3. Incorrect property ID number listed.4. Incorrect assessment value listed Further reading of the document does indicate the invoice is actually a solicitation for money (that you don't owe in the first place), but it is clearly designed to invoke worry and fear that money is owed to a government agency.The company is preying on the fears of older ********** and should NOT be permitted to present itself as a legitimate agency in its efforts to collect money you don't owe.
