  Elite Roofing gave Proposal/Estimate for roofing repair, damage caused by *** total cost $4880.00. Proposal was to REMOVE and REPLACE damaged gutter, edge metal, and fascia on corner where tree hit. Furnish and install NEW edge metal, fascia, and gutter to same area, REPLACE two damaged roof panels in the same area. Remove all associated Debris from job site. The ONLY thing that was met on proposal was removing a small amount of debris. The damaged items were REUSED, NOT replaced. The Metal roof panels were hammered back into place and NOT replaced. The damaged wood underneath was removed but NOT replaced, the metal panels are currently unsupported. The soffit, fascia, and Gutter were cobbed together with caulk and old ***** screws and the old gutter was spliced together like a child did it and is short of roof line. The soffit was put back so there is an open hole leaving access for rodents. Elite did NOT pull a permit, which is required for roof repairs over $2500.00. They acted fraudulently from the get go, clearly looking to take advantage of people. ********************* at Elite said she would make it right, instead she had her superintended call me & try to wiggle out of issue. Superintended stated that he did not replace the panels because "they would be shiny and not match the rest of the roof" Not his call, Proposal said NEW panels. He assured me the wood underneath was all new", that is a LIE there is NO NEW WOOD, ALL of it was the old wood caulked together or simply taken out and not replaced. This is not safe or structurally sound. Elite will not stand behind work, owner of company will not respond and has lawyered up. ****** believes he only has to speak with another lawyer. They clearly did not pull a permit because work would not pass inspection. Elite has made no attempt to collect for the work, however, I want Elite Roofing Services to give a release of financial responsibility as this work will all need to be redone by a qualified roofer.

  The client contracted for the work, and during the course of the work was informed that the exact metal roof panels were not available to replace the panel previously installed.  Customer berated the roofer and terminated Elite before the work was completed.  Now she complains that the work is not complete to her satisfaction.  Elite has previously attempted to resolve the matter with homeowner who has not paid Elite one cent for the work or materials who would prefer to disparage our well established (18+years) customer driven family owned ********************** business.  Elite would be willing to enter a mutual general release with complainant, in exchange for a dismissal of this complaint.  Please note, ****************** is not the owner of the property, but the mother of the property Owner.

  I would like to readdress this issue, I was not able to respond in a timely fashion due to illness. ELite Roofing is LYING again - they NEVER contacted me about the roof panels. The NEVER pulled a permit, that is not good faith. This whole response is a lie. They have steadfastly refused to acknowledge anything that they are responsible for. How about we ask them to provide communication about the roof panels? Or have someone look at the work they did? What a complete waste of time the BBB has been in this instance.All I wanted was a the mutual general release from this company...they put in writing they were willing to do it - how about if they provide that to you/Us?

  This person does not own the house in question, we never charged her for any of her disputed claims.  

  We have over 10+ emails of threats and defamation from her.  She is a cyberbully and we are have our lawyer dealing with her.
