1 starso far so good on the roof replacement,however during the tear off of the old roof my shed was damaged by their crew. rather than do the honorable thing,they left me no choice but to litigate. i won and im still waiting on payment...buyer beware,this company has no moral compass and will ***** you overReview fromJanet C

Protek sent a service guy to our house. He charged us $1,337.00 he did clean the coil and said that he added 8 lbs of refrigerant to the system. He did not add any refrigerant , because the system was the same way after he left. We know that he did not add any refrigerant because another A/C man told us there was no refrigerant in the system. This was a total rip off .

Hi *****, photos of the technicians work showed the coil cleaned, pressures before the addition of refrigerant, photos of pressures after adding the 8lbs refrigerant with the proper change. Additionally it shows the change in discharge temperature from the system due to the addition of refrigerant. Please let us know if you'd like to see these pictures and have us walk you through them to show the differences from the addition of refrigerant as the agreed upon work was completed. Also on the agreed work a UV dye leak test was approved and inserted as your system was suspected to have a leak. Likely the leak exists and the refrigerant has leaked out.. At this time we recommend having us come search for the leak using the UV dye so we can fix the leak and prevent further issues. Thank you!Janet C

The facts are that the pictures do not prove a **** thing. We were in the house and the a/c was not cooling when he left. So we had a professional come in and fill the system with refrigerant and it immediately started cooling really nice. The techican from ProTek did not put refrigerant in the system and did not put dye in either. So we figure that the company owes us one thousand dollars.Janet C

Since the techican did not put the dye or refrigerant into the system the company owes us $1,020.80. The UV Dye is 392.00 for 1 pound and the R410A refrigerant is 8lb @ $77.60 per pound that is 628.80.
