On Saturday, January 18, 2025, I submitted an online inquiry to Consumer Auto Credit regarding vehicle financing. Shortly after, I was contacted by a representative named **** from this company. Despite my clear instructions to stop contacting me, **** continued to send persistent and harassing text messages.I explicitly asked **** multiple times to remove my information and to cease all communication, yet he ignored my requests and continued to contact me in a dismissive and disrespectful manner. I have attached screenshots of these conversations as evidence.***** behavior was unprofessional and aggressive, even mocking me for requesting to be removed from their contact list. This has disrupted my personal and professional life and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected.Customer Answer

I purchased a used car on Friday September 29, 2023. After I signed the paperwork for it and when they were supposed to bring it to me, they told me they need to fix something and told me to come back the next day. When I came back the morning of Saturday September 30, 2023 I told them I didnt want it and to get me something else or to refund me my trade in and down payment. The dealership then told me my **** F-150 I traded in was gone and I had to take the Jeep Wrangler. I said ok and drove the Jeep wrangler home. On Sunday October 1, 2023 the radiator light came on and it started overheating. I then took it back on Monday October 2, 2023 and they told me they were going to keep the car and told me to take an Uber home. I said I couldnt afford it and asked for a loaner. The mechanic then said no and it wasnt his problem and come back tomorrow. I then stated that I needed a loaner or my trade in and **** the mechanic started getting in my face yelling and calling me a N***** and was hostile like he wanted to fight. because I didnt want what they were trying to give me. I wrote a ****** review about the incident and ended up leaving. I came back after work the next day and **** was not happy about my review and proceeded to call me more names and say my address out loud and threatened me saying he would come up there. I called my boss and asked him to come down so he can mediate the situation. **** then said F*** you, your engine needs to be rebuilt and its gonna take a week. I asked for a refund and my trade on and they said no talk to the manager. The manager offered me $300 to take Uber until the car was fixed but I didnt accept it because at this point I wanted my trade in back because at least it wasnt giving me any issues. Now I have no car, and no money and they wont refund me or replace the bad car they sold me.Initial Complaint

The sequence of events are detailed by the attached document (Exhibit-A). In summary, on September 22, 2022, I purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado HD2500 diesel truck from Consumer Auto Credit (CAC); a copy of the contract is attached (Exhibit-B). At the time of purchase, and literally while I was signing the contract, the truck was taken into the service area for evaluation or repair of an 'ABS' light issue and, during such, the driver's seat was removed from the truck and given to another customer. Given that two issues persisted and the dealership was closing, CAC provided written confirmation that all deficiencies would be rectified (Exhibit-C). A mismatched seat installed by CAC currently remains installed, but is an improper fit for the make/model of the truck and which voids proper functioning of the seat's conveniences and, most importantly, the air bag safety system (the air bag light remains illuminated on the dash indicating an air bag malfunction warning). My efforts since the purchase date to resolve the matter have been unsuccessful, and I therefore seek assistance from the Better Business Bureau for appropriate resolution.Business Response

Consumer Auto Credit would like to apologize for any misunderstanding. However, whenever ****************** purchase the vehicle, Consumer Auto Credit was made aware of the *** problem. Consumer Auto Credit took care of the *** sensor. In regards of the seat Consumer Auto Credit have ordered the seat several times but it was not the exact match. Consumer Auto Credit was advised that the seat is currently in back order from the factory. The dealership have explained to ****************** that if he is able to find the seat we will gladly pay for it.

I bought a car from this consumer auto credit back in 2020 I was making payments actively. I moved to Georgia in 3/2021 and as of 6/2021 the dealership stop responding,I was calling the company and received no answers, they never reached out to me the ******* tax collectors office tried to get in contact with them on 3 different attempts, as time went by and I still had not heard from the dealership or they didnt respond to ******* tax collectors office I eventually stop calling. As of 2/2023 my birthday came around and I was unable to renew my registration because my title had a lien on it that had not been released, ******* tax collectors office gave me a phone number I could potentially call to get in touch with consumer auto. I called the number that was provided and I finally spoke with someone named ****, after telling him my situation he stated my files had been over looked, he asked was I trying to make a payment and I told him since its been so long I no longer want to make payments I would just like to settle on an amount or he could come get the vehicle. He stated okay that we could Settle for 5000$ and once they payment was sent he would release the lien electronically. They payment was made a couple days later in the month of 2/2023 and since then I still have not had the lien release the company has been giving me the run around and I have given them the money that was asked for and they still havent released my lien so I can renew my registration in Georgia. I have conversations of them agreeing that they would release this lien and still nothing has been done, i have had multiple people go to the dealership because Im no longer in *******, and they continue to tell people it would be released in 48hrs. The last call I made I spoke with an ******** who was very rude, told me to stop calling and hung up in my face.. Will someone please help me this its getting out of control with this company!!!!Business Response

hello. I was able to check into this, and i believe it has been resolved. We agreed on a lesser dollar amount to pay the car off. You stopped making payments for years and we made one hundred and twelve attempts to call you however you updated your number and did not let ** know. All good i believe this issue is resolved lien is released we have been made whole on a negotiated lower amount however both parties agreed and are satisfied with the resolution.Initial Complaint

I bought a 2017 **** F 350 in July 2nd 2022 with a 24k miles warranty bumper to bumper from Consumer Auto Credit. The same day I just took the truck of the dealer and the checking engine light turned on. I paid to a mechanic do a diagnostic and the sensors os DPF system was not working. They gave to me a estimate of U$2.400,00 to fix it. I called the dealer and the manager **** was very rude with me on the phone saying that I had to call the insurance, not them. I called the insurance and they refuse to pay saying that they don't cover DPF system parts. I spend from my pocket to fix it. Exactly on July 20th, 20 days after I buy the truck it broke the transmission with me on the righway and I had to get in contact with them again. Again the manager was totally rude saying that I singed the contract than the problem is mine now. The warranty refused to pay, this time saying that they don't conver that tipe of truck because has fifth wheel attached. I told the bank to cancel my contract because I disagree with that deal but the bank kept me without any response. After 3 months broke on the repair shop the mechanic used my truck to go home without my authorization and the truck got towed by the dealer. Now the dealer said I lost everything. I lost U$15.000,00 repairing, U$8.500,00 of downpayment and 3 months without car. Now I don't have any car and money and when I called this **** he just hang out on my face like a piece of s*** I'm looking for justice. I want my truck back and fixed.Business Response

The customer lose the money because they did not make the payments to the bank and the vehicle was repossessed. Has nothing to do with the dealer. As far as the repairs he purchased an extended warranty for motor transmission and he tried to put a claim to the warranty for repairs that were not covered because he modified the vehicle. Dealer will not issue a refund, he was repossessed because he didnt make his paymentsCustomer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:They are so desonest and liers that they sell a warranty that they already now they don't cover almost nothing.
I called the Dealer, they joked at my face. I called the warranty and they told they don't cover that kind of truck. I did not do any alteration, this guy is a lier. They don't cover but they sell this junk to you.
I did not pyed because I bought a truck to put in a business and I paid 3 months of insurance for a truck that was 3 months in the repair shop. They sell lemon and they dont care about. Wrost people I've seen in my life.
Everyone will know how piece of junk this company is. I've been finding other people that has the same problems with them to *** them together. I have every call recorded from them and documents. Pretty soon all ******* people will know the kind of people they are.
Sincerely,
