I received a call today from a company saying that I owed money for products that I have been ordering. When I asked the name of the company, the guy could not provide me with that information. When I asked what the product was he said I ordered something called ***** biotin back in November 2020 and then rattled off a list of several more items that I have so called ordered since then. He was unable to provide me with an account number, website for the product, or send me an invoice. When asked why I haven't received any bills, his response was that I have and I am choosing not to pay them. When asked where these products were shipped to he gave me an old address that I have not lived at for over 4 years. He said that the credit card they have on file was not working, and that he was calling to ***************. The problem is, this isn't my debt and if items were purchased then it was done so fraudulently as I have never and would never order anything that I could not look up online or see in a store front. After arguing with the guy on the phone, I hung up frustrated that he would not listen to me at all. I was told that is already affecting my credit score which I pride myself in having great credit history. I let him know that I was reporting the call and information to the BBB. After the call, I tried looking up the name of the products and couldn't find a specific store or website. Then I reverse looked up the phone number he provided and the BBB website was the first search result with complaints just like mine about getting these calls. Please beware that if you answer a call from ************!Initial Complaint

In November 2021 I took a survey and at the end of the survey I was told I would receive a pair of earbuds, earbud case, and a mini speaker for only the cost of shipping which was $6.95. That amount was charged on my card And since then I have been getting calls saying that I have a monthly subscription and I owe $119 for each product. I spoke with the account manager and she gave me some very confusing information first she told me I only owe $269 and then she told me I owed $426. I told them that I was not interested in their product that I did not want a subscription and that I wasnt paying another ***** to their company and less they sent me a bill which they refused to do.Initial Complaint

I ordered a Hype watch via the internet on 11/22/2023 for $6.95 shipping. I did not receive a watch, I received a ring, which I did not order. I would like my money back, and they should be out of business for fraud.Initial Complaint

Same as the others. I got a text message from my phone carrier offering me a watch for just shipping. The moment I didn't get a confirmation email or anything. Then I call the # to get a message that says, "***** as ****** ******" and hangs up. I hope they get caught. Reported it to my credit card, cancelled it and a new one is on the way.Initial Complaint

Several months ago I ordered something online and was offered a Hype watch and earbuds for $6.96 shipping and handling as a "gift". Now months later I was notified that I have to pay $119.98 for the watch and $119.98 for the earbuds. The company is an "online" company and only accepts bank to bank transactions. They cannot transfer calls and are very aggressive and uncooperative. I asked for the address and was given ************************************. According to the internet the address is ***************************************************. The customer service phone number that Samantha L. gave me is XXX-XXX-XXXX. My bank flagged this as possible fraud and didn't authorize the two payments. While I would like to have my money back, this is a lesson learned. I should have known it was too good to be true. Terrible experience.Initial Complaint

On February 20 2022, I took a survey from a text message and at the end of the survey, it said I would get a "free" smart watch for only the cost of shipping. As part of the checkout process, there was what I consider to be a very misleading practice of opting me in to several other purchases I didn't want but by the time I realized it had happened it was not clear how to cancel. When the items arrived, they were extremely poor quality--essentially non-functional. I sighed and kicked myself for having been so gullible, but figured I'd been tricked out of only $35 or so and it wasn't worth fighting about. Four months later, I was shocked by a phone call from a very aggressive bill collector saying that I owe $179 more and I'm in a monthly subscription for the smart watch! This was the first notification whatsoever that there would be any further charges, despite the bill collector saying "Well, you need to read the terms and conditions". There was NO mention of any such thing in any terms and conditions I was shown or sent. Believe it or not, I actually DO click through on the T&C and I would not have agreed to any such nonsense. The order confirmation email makes NO mention of any further payments owed and NO mention of a subscription. This seems like complete fraud to me--there can't be an overdue collection on a bill that was never sent! I have attached the only two emails they've sent, neither of which includes T&C or notice of further amount due. My message to their listed email address they list bounced. Hype Watch representatives have called me back numerous times and demanded payment, despite my repeated assertions that I did NOT consent to a subscription or any further payment. They threaten to damage my credit rating if I do not pay. I do not know if they've actually filed a credit report against me--if so, I want that removed. Otherwise, I just want them to stop harassing me and stop these deceptive practices!Initial Complaint

In the past 3 days, I have received 3-4 phone calls from Hype Smart Watch that I had ordered a Smart watch in February with 14 days to decide if I wanted it, then had to pay for the Watch. In reality what happened was I took a survey from a store and was offered a Smart watch for which I only had to pay the shipping. The lady calling (who was very rude) kept telling me (I barely could understand her with her broken English and since she was shouting and alluded that I was a liar as I explained the situation) that I stied owed them money. I finally got a phone number out of her, but when I called it, of course it was bad. I called the phone number on the receipt they sent me in February and spoke to someone who offered to cancel my "account" with them. However, the next day the rude lady called me again. This time I hung up on her and decided to contact you.Initial Complaint
