      I am writing to file a complaint regarding our stay at Sun Country ************* in ****** ** on Aug *****. We have emailed both the resort as well as the Contact Us form on the company site without any acknowledgement in over a week. I felt I needed to resort to the BBB. We are alleging that your web site misrepresented the campground amenities to encourage booking and full payment in advance of our stay. We did a lot of research before spending almost $1500 on a 3-day vacation. We saw the pictures, map, and amenities of your **s for rent. We paid for an ** with 2 doors, a queen ******* and twin bunk room with WiFi, ***** grill, **, etc. Here's what we got:Smaller camper on this site with only 1 door (2 on website), retractable canopy with large tear (flap) that someone tried to fix with duct tape, small cheap grill (Expert Grill), fire ring and a short string of blue lights hanging on the camper. The ** wasn't working, the inside was filled with flies, there was no remote for the ** and no WiFi. There was no BUNK ROOM. There are 2 triangle beds that are not big enough for anyone over 5 feet to fit. One kid had to sleep on the sofa, and one used 2 mattresses with shins and feet hanging out in the breeze. We went to the office since we assumed there was a mistake. They know the beds are bad in this ** and quickly offered us a "free" linen package since no twin sheets would fit these triangles. They fixed the **, brought a fly swatter and a remote (we had to program but instructions say to go to web site for help---no wifi) that is now programed for the next folks. We had to buy a mattress topper to sleep on the Queen **** We are requesting one night's refund as this site was certainly misrepresented but we did utilize some of the amenities available. These ** represent some of the most expensive spots in your campground. Look at your website then go to the camper on site AA09. Surely not a fair substitution for the ** described and paid for.

      In April of this year, my father passed away. Shortly after his passing I contacted the resort in Fort Myers, FL, where my parents have a second home. I inquired what was needed to remove him from the current lease and to leave my mother and add me. They stated the only item would be a copy of the death certificate. I immediately sent over this at their request. However, the electric statements continued to arrive in my fathers name. I continuously asked why and requested the name be changed to only my mothers as she has been on the lease since the beginning, which is 20+ years now. The park stated they would request this change. In October, I received an email requesting a copy of mine and my mothers driver's licenses,(my mother is elderly and no longer drives) a copy of the title and a form which a tenant is requesting to be removed that requires a notary signature. Now I am pretty sure my father is not requesting to be removed from anything, he passed away. None of the requested information is necessary to change a name on an electric bill, other than the copy of the death certificate, which was provided months prior. I contacted the park back and they stated that this request came from Sun Communities, who now owns the park. On October 13th, I sent Sun an email requesting they look into this request as it seemed redundant at this point as the lease had already been changed months prior and the only thing that needs to occur is the name change on the electric statement. I was advised that someone in management would get back to me within 1 to 2 days and if not, to let them know and they would reach out again. Well, I waited a week and did not receive a reply. I emailed them back, no reply. In fact, I have emailed Sun every couple weeks for the past 2 1/2 months and have had ZERO response to any of my emails. Still the electric statements come in my fathers name. I have never experienced the lack of concern from a company to this extent before. Especially, when this email is supposed to be used by residents in their communities if they have needs that need to be addressed. This is unacceptable on all levels.
