    This company was assigned by my home warranty company American Home Shield to service my air conditioning unit, the technician came out did no work and informed me that the reason the unit was malfunctioning was because it was turned down too low. The ** is still malfunctioning and water is leaking within the walls. A technician from another company told be there is a problem with the ducts and they would need to be replaced. The vendor will not return my calls in an effort to try to get them return to my property to repair the issues.

    This company came to my house to fix my AC this was on May 21st 2024, Well fast foward to June 13th, there has been multiple calls made to this company and plenty of voice mails left and no one seems to care to answer the phone or simply follow up and provide an update. According to my warranty company American Hime shield. Air boss has order parts, 1 part to fix the *** yet they don't answer my calls as the customer nor answer calls from AHS either. This has been one of the wrose company anyone can hope for. Leaving the customer in la la land without an update or consideration at all.

    His valve is a part warranty thru Rheem on his 2020 unit and  was ordered on 5/22 after diagnosis . The *** given from the supplier when ordered was June 18th and will be done as soon as we Receive it, His was notified of the back order and we will call to schedule as soon as we have it.

    This business never contact me or told the Home warranty about when the part was expected to be delivered. Till this day they still have not call and provided an update. ************* ever. I had to take matter into my own hangs to figure our the best way to get my AC fix. Like I said before worse customer service ever.

    This company was hired on May 20, 2023 to fix the dishwasher. Two weeks later they arrived to see that they needed to order a part. Another two weeks they arrived to fix my dishwasher and realized they ordered the wrong part. Here it is another two weeks and my calls have been clocked and go directly to voicemail. I had to ask my husband to contact them since they obviously won't talk to me anymore.

    It been 3 weeks and needs another came back to repair my refrigerator.

    Unfortunately not every part is sitting on a shelf somewhere for immediate shipment. Occasionally parts are back ordered or waiting for replenishment. This repair was completed on 5/16.2023

    Submitted a request for service on 12/23. Service finally completed on 2/19 and within 20 minutes of them leaving it was discovered the original issue of the washing machine leaking was still a problem. Called them to return and they refused to return to service the original issue. Company is fraudulent and accepts payments from home warranties with no intent of ever completing jobs as intended. Have also filed a formal complaint with home warranty company to stop using this contractor as a provider. They are extremely unethical.

    2/17/23 installed new part tested unit working fine and no leaks-Part finally installed.

     

    Homeowner Ask American Home Shield for a different vendor and "did not want Airboss" out.

    Clearly We did as the **************** asked both AHS and here on the BBB portal. 

    We service **** customers a year for AHS and our average on AHS site 4.35 out of 5 stars with 763 AHS reviews last year.

    I am rejecting this response because: they did not repair my machine and a simple ****** search of this company will reveal how they operate fraudulently.  They claim to set up appointments but do not call the customer just to continue their contract with AHS.  I have also filed a complaint with AHS so they are investigating and may not longer use this vendor.  I requested a new vendor who came out and fixed my machine on the same day.  This was a direct resume for waiting 2 months and Air Boss not following through.  Air Boss had this open ticket almost two months and couldnt even fix the machine.  They are con artists so be aware they are not a legitimate operating business.  The problem my machine had was not what Air Boss said at all but rather the drain line.

    FRAUD! Airboss Mechanical was assigned by my home warranty company. They called the next day saying they were on their way, without calling prior or having set an appointment. I was not home at that time and requested that they set an appointment. They said they would call back and never did. They told my home warranty company that they showed up and I missed the appointment. I have a recording Ring doorbell and video cameras that show they never were at my house. Yet, they told the warranty company that they were there and still charged and received their $75 service fee. This company couldn't be more dishonest and a bunch of cheats!

    We received the work order from *** on August 29 in the late PM. Ms. **** told us she would "Call us back to schedule" on the August 30 phone call. We received a phone call from *** on September 7th Telling us this work order was cancelled. Both Our computer record and the *** "portal" show that. We never scheduled as the customer was to "call us back ". We did not run the call.  Please See attached documents.

    *** has chosen to use call centers in third word countries like *************** and Columbia. There is a large amount of miscommunication coming from them. We did not run the service call nor charge ***.

    Cancelled jobs CAN NOT be billed. We receive no money nor did we charge ANYONE.

    This Complaint belongs to American Home Shield not Airboss. 

    If Ms. **** was charged by American Home Shield for her cancelled work order then it is *** that needs to refund her.  

    Please REMOVE IT from the Airboss Record and POST it to ***!

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I have spoken to AHS twice, both times with native English speakers, who informed me they paid AirBoss and according to AirBoss I never showed for our scheduled appointment when their tech was at my house so I was not entitled to a refund. Again, I have proof that they never showed at my house. The AirBoss guy I spoke with said I will have my tech call you to schedule your appointment, but youre saying the opposite, so I tend to trust AHS in this situation since youre also giving me false information. How am I specifically suppose to call your tech coming to my house when I dont even know his/her name or number? Also, I called AHS to get a refund, and they said they would contact your company to get your side of the story, and they confirmed what Im saying here. If you would call them and tell them you never came and to give me my refund, it can be settled.

    I forwarded you the notice of cancel email From *** and the "unable to bill due to cancel" screen shot from the *** portal .I am sorry for you that  *** is treating you this way .  I will Reiterate that Airboss Received a cancel from ***. Airboss WAS NOT PAID ANY MONEY at all. We did not charge you any amount so if you are looking for a reimbursement you need to file this with ***.

     WE TOOK NO MONIES form either you or  American Hone Shield ,Furthermore I would like to point out that this entire complaint is Against the Wrong party here. If *** has taken your money Get it back from them. 

    FILE IT AGAINST ***. We are certainly not refunding you any money since we did not charge you anything we did not service you. *** took your money . we did not bill them for a cancel work order . 

    Does anyone at the BBB even read these? This is silly.

    On August 23, 2022, I placed a repair request with American Home Shield (***) who contracted Air Boss Mechanical, LLC (***) to repair the ** Air Scrubber light in my HVAC system. The *** service technician came on 8/24/2022 to diagnose the issue. The service technician found a bad wiring harness and stated that it needs to be replaced and he would follow up with his office and they would reach out to me to let me know how long it would take to get the replacement parts and confirm that it was covered by ***. No service repair was made on 8/24/2022 and the ** light was not working when he left. I had not received a call from ***, but the *** repair ticket had been approved and stated that the parts have been ordered. I attempted to make 6 calls to *** on 9/5/2022 thru 9/15/2022, but there was no answer, and the voicemail box was always full. I called again on 9/16/2022 and there was no answer, but I was finally able to leave a message to call me back and to date I have not received a return call. I also confirmed with my cell history that there are no calls or voicemails from *** returning my call. I also called *** on 9/16/2022 to get a status and they made multiple attempts to call *** with no response. They finally reached to company and was told the parts have been ordered and they would be reaching out to schedule a follow-up service, but no call to date. I called *** again the week of 10/3/2022 and while I was on the call, they attempted to reach ***, but no response. They followed-up with *** via Email and the *** ticket was updated with the parts were ordered and *** would reach out to setup an appointment to make the repairs. On 10/12/2022, I received an Email from *** that the service work was completed on 8/24/2022 by the *** service technician, which no repair was performed, and the ** light was not working when the technician left my home, so *** has clearly lied to ***. I called *** on 10/12/2022 and they have escalated internally.

    This customer is An American Home Shield customer. His contract with *** does NOT cover add-ons to the ** system. It only covers ** components required for operation. His ** system is fine. I have asked the *** representative to resend him their denial letter from August 24th.We did offer him a replacement UV light Obviously as a COD job. We have not heard, as of today, his response to our  offer.

    Begining 5/12/2022 Airboss Mechanical LLC was contracted through American HomeShield for service on my Central A/C. On 5/17/2022 arrived at my home to diagnose an issue with my Central Air conditioning. The technician did a quick fix that lasted about 4 hours before the A/C stopped working again. 5/18/2022 I made a claim with American Homeshield on the service as it was not fixed. Airboss had up to 48 hours to call me to schedule an appointment. 7 days had passed before Airboss finally reached out and scheduled an appointment. During this 7 days, I attempted to call Airboss to schedule this appointment, but every call was ignored. I reached out to American HomeShield to call Airboss and they were ignored as well. Finally on 5/24/2022 Airboss diagnosed I needed a new Evaporator coil and would order the new part. On 5/30/2022 I called Airboss for an update. I was told the new part would be delivered on 5/31/2022 or 6/01/2022. Both days passed and no update. I call again and get told it would be delivered 6/02/2022 or 6/03/2022. Both days pass and no update. I attempt to call today 6/6/2022, as it has now been 3 weeks without A/C and all calls have been ignored.
