This apartment community is negligent of its responsibilities and commitments to their tenants. After a horrible year of never ending property management failures (including turning off the only elevator in my building, w/o notice, on my moving day so they could paint over dirt/debris on the breezeway floors), they are delinquent in returning my refundable security deposit of $295. My move out date was 11/30/2025. I have reached out for months and it is always an excuse and telling me to wait. I will attach screenshots of the correspondence. This does not include the unanswered calls/voicemails to the office and the corporate office. I think it is only fair that they include the same late fee that they subject their residents to, to compensate for all of the time I have wasted following up on this. I am happy to expound on all the many shortcomings of this miserable operation if necessary, but ultimately I want my money returned to me as from my understanding Landlords in the state of ******* are required legally to return security deposits within 15 days. As you can see we are quite far beyond that time.

Hi, we were residents from January 2022 until we moved out January 28, 2023.We are still trying to recover a late fee of $100 which we paid with our January 2023 rent. It was credited back to our online rent portal account with an email apologizing for the miscommunication (between former management and current management). The Statement of Deposit Detail was sent certified on March 3 2023. We received it March 6, 2023. It was outside of 30 days to notify us of monies withheld from security deposit. We should have received the security deposit of $295 minus the water bill of $56.99 which is $238.01 PLUS the $100 (credit from the fee that was paid with our January 2023 rent, credited to online account but funds never returned to us) no check received for that part. When we received the first statement certified, we called immediately as it showed refund only $196.01. Still cannot understand the statement especially under the credits/write-offs/forfeitures. Then there has been a series of over 30 emails back and forth and several phone calls trying to get a correct statement and correct monies back. They sent a second statement with one of the emails stating they would send another check for *****, which was not correct, nor sent as I emailed it would be incorrect again. Then I call again on March 14, 2023. Put on hold for over 10 minutes as I was asked to hold so they can pull correct statement up.Told we're getting another check for $42.So far received check for $196.01 and $42 which is $238.01. The difference of security $295 minus water $56.99. Okay that part is taken care of. Called when we received the $42 check because we are still owed another $100.Emailed/explained why also. Were told ****** was in another complex but it would be looked into again and maybe another manager could review it, give it a couple days. This was March 20, ****************************************** resolving this. It has been frustrating and time consuming. Thank you!

Rented a apartment for one year. The employees had all packages delivered in the office for 6 months, never had an issue with getting a package or mail. Since we left our packages have not been sent to us and the office managers claim they never received packages in the office, when I clearly have a text message from the office stating they did. And always did. Our mail with checks have also been lost or stolen. Along with our cats medicine that was delivered the day we left. Left the apartment on 8/22/2022. Had to come back from WV to get deposit. That has yet to be sent. Almost 3 months after leaving. The company has now provided a statement claiming they had to replace carpet. Flat lie and they are keeping peoples deposits for no reason. Which in one years time would be over $125,000. We had to come from WV and go into the office on 2 separate occasions to try and get our deposit. Cleaned the apartment spotless and had no damage. And have tons of pictures to show exactly the condition. People are moving left and right due to mold issues and the attitudes of the staff. It is apparent they charge a small deposit and not giving anyone their deposit back. They know they can since its so small people dont want to be aggravated with court over $295.00. Which gives them a big amount of $ each year. This should be illegal and its totally absurd to treat customers like they have and getting by with it. No one should have to wait 3 months for their deposit and have their mail and packages stolen.
