      I took my phone to replace a cracked screen and told owner that their also might be water damage. The owner replaced the screen and told me that their was no water damage and that everything should work properly. He also informed me that if I encounter any issues I have a warranty of 90 days to get the part fixed if anything went wrong. However, after having the phone for only three days it started glitching again. Upon taking it to the store again he informed me that there was a new oily water damage when the phone had not been close to that upon receiving the phone back. He did not honor the warranty she asked us to pay additionally money to get the phone fixed with a new screen.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/07) */ initially the phone came in for a screen repair with the device having touch problems because of a cracked screen. We went through our initial testings and hand the customer a receipt giving us the OK to work on the device and in it our warranty explained which the customer prints and signs their name on after which we replaced the screen with a new one then tested functions to be fully working together with the customer before leaving our store and as a gesture we give the customer a free screen protector. A few days later the customer calls and says the phone is having touch issues so we asked them to come in so we can take a look at it. The customer brings in the device and as soon as the tech opens it up finds the device has come in contact with an oily liquid which leaked into the inner parts of the phone and caused damage to the newly installed screen that we replaced along with damage to other inner components of the device itself. Liquid damage unfortunetly voided and forfeited all warranties and because of that we were unable to cover the repair free of cost since the part replaced was now deemed liquid damaged and as a store we became unable to send it back to our supplier for an exchange or credit... as soon as we see the oily liquid covering the inner parts of the device including the screen we replaced we contacted the customer and informed of the find. At first the customer did not deny the device has come in contact with liquid following the repair during the time the device was in the possession of the customer, we explained we can offer a 2nd replacement part and repair at a discounted rate since since the incident happened within a week from their pickup of the repair. the customer said they will call us back with an answer on what to do. few moments later calls after shopping prices in the area asking to do the repair at a lesser price since another store can do the liquid cleaning cheaper than the discounted price we offered to them but we explained to the customer the other store is not including the cost of a screen replacement but only for the liquid cleaning and we emphasyed the part is damaged and the other store will charge them extra once they see the device in need of a new screen-lcd- , the customer argued with the price for a little but we explained the price quoted to them is our final price and it will only cover the part cost with minimal profit for time and labor to instal. another family member gets on the phone arguing and swearing and asked us to put the phone back and they will take it els where. Later that day the customer arrives with a family member and swears at the rep and calls us liars. attached copy of receipt and warranty and customer initials and signature Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This tech and owner are the same person so let's keep that in mind that we are talking about the same person here. That being said, this is highly inaccurate we never agreed for a even a second that the phone had water damage. The damage was there before we even took it to him the first time and we even told him about it. Also the phone was damaged after exactly three days and within those three days we did not put the phone close to any liquid. Upon telling the owner that he could not prove to us that there was not any damage before we brought it to him. Rather he just showed us that there is a liquid in it right now. Which we know was not removed in the first place which is why the phone broke after three days. Also the owner was not insulted or cussed at. However, I did call him a liar and unprofessional because he simply is.
