I had an appointment a month ago to have my teeth looked at and to find a new dentist, I was given x-rays and they mentioned fixing my chipped tooth in the front right and I opted and for the filling even though insurance barely covered any of it. I then went home and about a month later I was sitting on the couch, not eating or drinking anything, and the filling fell out. I got in contact with the dental office after trying to for about a week and a half, and they told me there was nothing that I could do about it and I would have to pay out pocket for a new filling even though it fell out a month after my appointment. Obviously I was upset and called around to other dentists to try to find a solution, and explaining my situation to each one of the dental offices they said that they replace the fillings for free especially since it's only been a month. I'm not sure what other route I need to take but I need to get it taken care of because my tooth is set very sensitive.

Thanks & Regards, Murali *** Office Manager Family Dental At Wesley Chapel **** ******** ****** Suite *** Wesley Chapel, FL XXXXX Email: *********@wcfdfl.com Tel/Fax: (XXX) XXX-XXXX Business Hours: 9 am to 5 pm; Monday to Thursday Consumer Response /* (2000, 13, 2022/08/31) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) So after I scheduled an appointment over the phone with the office manager, I went in and had the filling assessed and it had fallen off partially. I spoke with the dentist about getting it put back on and the circumstances that I was under the impression that it would be covered since it had only been a month and a half since the initial filling date. I was in directed to sign a large packet that I had to read over that I didn't have to before understanding the consequences with getting the filling put back on. I was kind of taking it back by having to do so since it seems a little sketchy to me. I signed the form and was in told that I had to pay $55 out of pocket because my insurance wasn't going to cover it completely. I've been proceeded to say that I did not have a job at the time and they said they were going to see what they can do, I was then told that I have a credit on my account because I had overpaid from my last visit and they weren't going to tell me that unless I said I couldn't pay for that out of pocket today. I was really upset about it and I did not think that was how an office handled patients at a practice like this. I will never go back to this business based on how they treated me as a customer and didn't really care about my situation whatsoever.
