I recommend anyone be extremely cautious when using this company: After approximately three attempts to correct the poor work that this company did, we never came to a a happy resolution. It should be mentioned that it was nearly impossible to discuss the issues with his workers, due to the fact that they spoke little to no English. Due to the language barrier, I was not able to properly communicate with them about the defects in the job. From the thick to thin grout lines, to the jagged tile cuts, to the tiles cut too short around the underside of the cabinets, to the tiles not being properly cleaned after grouting so that the black tiles now have a golden tone to them. The problematic issues were nonstop with this project. In fact, ****** actually blamed me for the substandard installation because I chose a black tile with gold grout and it would show all imperfections due to the high contrast between the colors that I chose. The grout line thickness issues became an issue because clearly no spacers were used to hold the tile in its correct position while the thin set cured. ****** also stated that it was my fault again because I chose a herringbone pattern for the tile placement. If his worker was not skilled enough to handle this project he should have never taken on the job. He should have simply told me that he was not able to install the tile and I would have hired someone else. Due to his inability to install the tiles properly, he has forced me to repurchase all of the tile and installation materials again. This is approximately $500 that Im now paying for a second time. We also discussed the lack of a professional paint job that was applied to my kitchen cabinets. I pointed out that the sides of all cabinets were never prepared properly for painting. They were never sanded and are full of bumps, ridges and paint drip and run marks. I would never use this company again.

    Dear Michael M****

A dissatisfied customer does not sign two contracts to carry out different projects on their property like you did, plus you signed agreements that are quite obviously and easy to read in your own language, where one of the clauses says: "All communication must be directly between CLIENT and CONTRACTOR to guarantee the correct exchange of information" I went to your house at each stage of your project (3 in total).

    1 Countertop Replacement
2 Backsplash - Preparation and Installation
    3 Painting Kitchen Cabinets

And in each phase, yourself and your wife who is LATINA and speaks perfect SPANISH gave her approval and the project was already advanced, even, to finish you made me review the Backsplash from the beginning and I very cordially, as I have always been during almost 10 years of experience, I agreed to take your opinion and comment very seriously to satisfy your request and you did it 3 times and every time you asked me, you affirmed that everything was fine, also Michael, you continue with the same thing I insist, your wife speaks perfect SPANISH so she could communicate perfectly with the workers, in fact she was quite involved that she reached agreements with my Worker in each stage of the project and in the corrections, and when it came time to pay, after having ready your kitchen with new backsplash and painted cabinets and having started the second project without any deposit, you decided not to do it by offering a final payment of $400, what kind of lack of respect towards me having an outstanding balance to pay of $2,250, this is a mockery to my professionalism for not wanting to comply with your obligations with the contract, I am an honest person therefore I demand the same.

Furthermore, after multiple emails and calls that my lawyer made to you, you ended up in court where they agreed with me, giving the verdict in my favor, and you had to pay me what I agreed with your lawyer and you on top of that, you had to pay, fees that I am sure were even more than what you owed me in total, for not wanting to act correctly and honestly.

And Michael, if you were thinking that by writing here you might do me some harm, no, my dear, I always give a face to problems, but I don't tolerate unscrupulous people like you, playing the martyr to avoid paying, and what shame. I cannot attach photos to expose you again, and the court's verdict is in my favor so that whoever reads this should be careful with you.

Id like to point out that while I had a lawyer represent me, ****** did not have a lawyer (Im assuming he couldnt afford one, as he had a mediator represent him instead who did not have any sort of legal education). My attorney negotiated a settlement offer with ******, in order to avoid having to go to court, which would have been costly and time consuming. But ****** did not win in court.

I am renovating my house and I used Fin International on a prior cabinet painting job so I called Nestor again to see if he could handle the drywalling, texturing, and painting. The first issue which I should have paid more attention to was that we discussed a price verbally which covered the drywall, texture, painting, crown molding, and cabinet painting but when I got the invoice the prices didn’t align to what we discussed. Nestor left out key coverage items discussed so I had to haggle a better price out of Nestor which was still higher than what we originally discussed. Then I asked him to give estimates on a 2nd layer of plywood on the floors explicitly to be liquid nailed and screwed as I was doing microcement as the finished look and the installer needed the plywood to be very stiff without movement. The first crew Nestor brought to the site were people that he didn’t used before (I found out from the other workers) and I had to have them redo the plywood multiple times as they would leave big gaps and not have the support under the plywood which we discussed more than 3 times. And they planned on nailing the plywood instead of screwing them down which seemed to be a directive from Nestor himself (Nestor never has any accountability when you highlight issues). The bathroom renovator ended up installing walls too high, installing toilet valves that were for a refrigerator and used drywall screws on the waterboards which were also flipped around. We discussed the drain to be moved but I had to argue to get that done as well. The drywall crew covered over a tray ceiling and an attic access and I had to argue my point 3 times that a section of drywall had major issues and I didn’t take no for an answer so they finally redid it. The new drywall crew found many quality issues as well. When I highlighted the issues to Nestor he did not offer to fix them nor give any refund. They even broke my ladder and didn’t replace it. Nestor is a scam artist

Definitively, I had responded to this review immediately after I received it by email in December 2022, only that BBB was not clear in its instructions on how to respond to the email as until now that I see it, and well, I cannot remain silent.

MRS. ***, Mr. ******* wife, was harassing me through all the social media because of a comment between Mr. ***** and me about a personal situation, things happened as follows: Mrs. *** found out about the comment and it was not to her liking, something that has absolutely nothing to do with them or with the job, she caused all this problem and the next day she got a Honduran worker who I imagine charged her a pittance per hour and of course she preferred to save money and put as excuse the disgust for my personal situation, from there they began to complain about everything, previously we were working quietly, although Mr. ***** hired me to do a job which he wanted to direct and tell me what I had to do all the time having me More experience than him in the area.
Since then, they decided to break the 3 contracts they had signed with me where it specifically said the work to be done and the cost, that is, the entire scope of the project, Mr. ***** every time we met he added things to the contract and obviously that had a cost. In addition, it was also specified in the contracts that they read and signed. I don't understand then, how they say that I gave them a price and then charged them more.

In the last conversation, with Mr. ***** we agreed that that day, he demanded the termination of the contracts, he apologized for what happened due to his wife's way of acting and he paid me what was owed (I have proof of that) and he did. You also have in your email, the lady did not agree with this and she gave herself the task of making defamations and exaggerated conclusions about me. I decided not to take legal action against her since she harassed me with insulting messages seeking to return money from a work that was done, he did not pay me more or work more. So I don't see anywhere where the SCAM.

    Dear BBB,

to prove that it was a closing of contracts in agreement between the parties attached to the aforementioned contracts and the letter that gives as settlement of our business relationship.

The client (*************) decided in a determined way, to end our relationship without allowing us to finish what we had previously agreed to finish, which were:

    - Finish and leave the walls and ceilings of the house ready for texture.

    - Complete plumbing and everything related to the preparation of bathrooms walls and flooring showers to place tiles.

    Beside that,

As you see in the attachment Contract 1

the line one and three is complete fulfil

the second one is the electrical work that we complete a portion and the other remaining from the balance as you see $5,000
We agreed to receive in my favor $2,000 instead of the $5K

    ___________________________________

    Contract 2

item per item the final will look like this
Original Vs what the customer Paid for

    Item 1 -  $21,000 we agreed $17,000
Item 2 - $6,300 we agreed $0 item was removed
Item 3 - $3,500 we agreed $0 item was removed
    Item 4 - $650 we agreed $350
    Item 5 - $7,000 we agreed $3,000
Total to Pay $20,350 in this contract  -  $19,225.00 (Check deposit)
We agreed to receive in my favor $1,125

    _____________________________________

    Contract 3

Same as the last one item per item

From the Original Agreement $6,000 we agreed to pay $4,200 - $3,000 (Zelle deposit)
We agreed to receive in my favor $1,200

IN RESUME TO FINALIZE THE 3 CONTRACTS ACCORDING AS THE ACTIVITIES THAT WE DID IT, after received the money deposit per contract the balance remaining was:
    $2,000 + $1,125 + $1,200 = $4,325 (The costumer removed $325 for pay the dumpster)

And finally, the costumer sent the balance remaining  $4,000 by Zelle same day on December 15th in the morning as we accordingly to close the contrats

In the last attachment, the settlement letter, is exactly what ************* and I agreed the last day, previously mentioned.

Explaining everything as it happened, and demonstrating that I never missed the contracts and always kept the client informed about the modifications and additional estimates, and being the client who decided to leave everything as it was, I request to remove the review made by the client because on my part I did everything in my power.

    Best Regards,
