They keep sending me emails and texts for a bill that I do not owe. My insurance company has talked to them (******) and it was proved that I do not owe this bill. I need them correct their account!!!! And stop bugging me for the money I do not owe.Business Response

Acct# above is Credence Collection's. Provider Sheridan Radiology Services of West FL (*************************). Third party billing co. Envision Physician Services (my ************). Had a stroke on 7/14/24. Scans provided by Sheridan. Envision sent a bill for $912.15. I manually paid the first payment of 304.05 and set up autopay for two more monthly payments of $304.05 but somehow had to pay an additional $33.28 because Envision didn't apply the entire $304.05 to the first payment in September (see attached PDF. I spent hours on the phone with them but no one seemed to know why much less what the balance really was. Then Credence sends me a bill from Sheridan Dated 7/15/24, saying I owed $549.00, paid $291.40 and owe $267.60. If that's the case, I want a refund of $651.03. I WAS ON AUTOPAY, IF I OWED ANY THING IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DEDUCTED AUTOMATICALLY. NO ONE WROTE, CALLED OR NOTIFIED ME BEFORE COLLECTIONS WERE STARED. THERE'S A SCAM GOING ON HERE!!!!! I just received a call from this company- automated stating they sent a claim to my insurance but that ***** hasnt responded. I checked my claims, no claims for Sheridan Radiology and they seem to be using a date from when I went to the ** several months ago. I called them, the woman wouldnt answer my questions the, she just told me I owe $852. The more I asked specifics, she just kept going silent. I hung up and called back. They hung up on me, be careful pretty sure its a scam.Business Response

I recently got a text from **************************** saying I owe $43.24 to Sheridan Radiology Services of West Florida Inc. from something on 3/31/2023. I have never went to them, I never got a bill and my insurance company never heard from them about payment. My insurance company has also tried multiple times to reach out to **** but they are not answering. I don't know if this is a scam or not, but I'm seeing a similar problem for this company a lot while doing research.Business Response

I went to the hospital in Florida while I was on vacation in July of 2023. Not only did the hospital write down my insurance information wrong, but they sent a bill that was paid to a collections agency. Specifically, the Sheraton radiology billing department sent a bill for the amount of $1,260 to the Gulf Coast Collections borough. I have **** insurance and upon calling them found out they settled with Sheraton Radiology on the amount of $547.29 on Sep 26th of 2023. Almost an entire year later they sent my already paid bill to collections. I had my insurance representative call and speak to somebody in their billing department and he was told it could take up to six weeks to investigate this claim. It has been well over six weeks and Im still getting messages from this collections agency. I have called every phone number I found associated with this company. Every person I talk to says that they arent affiliated with them.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: There is no way they called my insurance company and got sent to voicemail. **** has 24/7 customer service lines; you can get in contact with a agent at any time. Additionally, I had a insurance *** call and speak with someone regarding this claim. They were told it could take up to six weeks for this investigation to be complete and upon completion I would be contacted. That never happened and once again they are claiming to have no record of payment. **** is able to provide them with exact dates, details, and the amount agreed upon. This company obviously has issues in their billing department, but that shouldn't come at the expense of sick/injured people.I did everything I was supposed to including having my insurance cover these costs, but yet I'm still receiving notices from a collection agency. A ***resentative from this company can provide me with any date and time and I'd happily go on a three way call with them and my insurance provider. There's a reason why people can only get in contact with this company through the BBB.

Veterans ****************** directed me to Advent Health as part of processing my VA claim. 5 months later, I received notification of a bill from Sheridan Radiology Services. I am not the contracted party and I did not receive any direct benefit from Sheridan Radiology Services. I contacted the Envision billing help line and they agreed that I was not being properly billed, but they would continue billing me anyway because they were having trouble getting a response from VES.Business Response

As with other complaints, I received a collections letter from Gulf Coast Collections for a bill I have never seen. As the collections agency has my address, then so does Sheridan Radiology Services. Therefore, why was a bill never sent to me prior to sending it to collections? I have no issue with paying a debt that is owed, but I do have an issue with being contacted by a collections agency for a bill that has never been submitted to me.Business Response

I have never received services from this company and have never heard of them. I keep track of all of my medicall bills, visits ect. Insurance has never recieve a bill or services from them either. I have never had services and this appears to be a scam. Please remove my contact information and phone number do not contact me and I do not owe anything for services I've never recieved with a business I've never used. I have not received an itemized bill via mail and this is the first communication I have had. I recently paid a bill for envision radiology services related to the birth of my daughter in **********.
