On 05/09/2022, Diamond Mirror and Glass, LLC. was contracted to manufacture and install a glass shower door enclosure in the main bathroom at my property at **************************************************************. A deposit for $1155.8 requested was sent via Zelle to phone number ************, sent on 05/13/2022.************** installed the custom glass doors on June 9, and requested the balance. Since my assistant and I were out of the country, we asked for pictures. The images sent reflected problems. Upon my return, I traveled to the property for inspection and found a chip on the bottom left corner of the door, it did not open freely, and there was a gap between the door and the glass frame holding it. My assistant requested that ************** fix the problems. ************** installed a new glass door; however, a 2-inch gap remains between the door and the glass section above it. Again ************** said he would fix it and charge an additional $100. With this commitment, on 07/12/2022, the $ ****** balance was sent via Zelle. The remaining $100 was left open, waiting for ************** to correct his work.Since that date, ************** has refused to answer calls from my assistant *********. On August 2, I called ************** to inquire about the status of the repair. He indicated that he had already lost money on the job and was not going to fix it. ************** blamed the problem on his work on installation of the floor. Two General Contractors, *****************************, and Norms ******************* have advised that the problem is with the Glass Shower Door. The measurements taken at the property should have considered any deviation on the walls or the floor. As of today, the door is uneven. Water is also protruding to the floor outside the glass enclosure, creating a hazardous environment in the bathroom. ************** also did not respond to the letter sent on August ******************************************** return the full payment made to him via Zelle.
