  We hired this company in August for a fireplace and cabinetry project, paying a deposit upfront with the promise that it would be completed in 6-8 weeks. Unfortunately, it is now well past that timeframe, and the work still hasnt been done.We explained the urgency of having it finished before our holiday party, and despite numerous follow-ups, weve been met with excuses and delays. Whats even more frustrating is the lack of professionalismthis person claims to be a pastor and a man of God but hasnt honored his word or shown integrity in this ********** wife has been trying to get clear answers, but instead, shes been given the runaround. Were incredibly disappointed and regret trusting this business. I would not recommend their services to anyone who values honesty, reliability, and timely work.

  ***** was so polite and said he was a preacher and then he told me a story that should have been a red flag but I hired and paid him anyway. Then the excuses came but he forgot the lies he told and retold them. The work he did is exactly what he was hired for EXCEPT he never finished the project. Now he has blocked me so he doesnt feel he needs to honor his word.

  I hope this review saves others from suffering through the same terrible, stressful experience I did with Hope Family Woodworking. In short, on May 22, 2024, I sent my deposit to the owner. Five months later, I still did not have my built-in bookshelves and the owner said he would provide a refund but then never did and stopped responding to messages. Thank goodness I paid the deposit through ****** where I was able to dispute and get my money back that way. Throughout this ordeal, he gave at least five different dates on when my product would be delivered, but each time the date passed with excuse after excuse (co-worker has cancer, he had a fire, installer's wife got admitted, tornado went through his property). On October 17, I texted him to ask when he was coming the next day as he told me he would. He didn't respond till 4:29 am the next morning, saying he would be at my house around 1 pm. Of course, after 1 pm I still had not heard from him so I texted him again. He then gave yet another excuse that one of his guys has COVID, he doesn't think he should come, and that he would send back my deposit that day. He also texted my wife that he would send the deposit back. Never did. In five months, not ONCE did the owner proactively give me an update. EVERYTIME I had to send him a message first. I have no reason to believe he ever intended to deliver my product, and every reason to believe something more nefarious is going on based upon these reviews and complaints, my interactions with other customers of his, and my research of public records. I hope for the benefit of consumers this will be left up: I encourage everyone to search both the owner's and company's name in the court records of the Palm Beach County Clerk and Comptroller's website. These public records, particularly the two with file dates of 8/30/24, reveal a troubling state of affairs for the owner and company and are reason alone to not send any money to him.

  Stay away!! This company is a fraud. They do not stand behind their products and block you from ******** so you cannot leave a negative review. Cares more about a review than actually producing quality furniture. I purchase three items from them and had issues with quality with 2 items, one of which has fallen apart by moving it. They try to claim it is my fault which is complete bull. Who builds something so top heavy it can not be moved, screws are coming out, nails coming through the top. Just a completely poor design and workmanship that they refuse to stand behind. I have tried to get them to fix it, but they just keep brushing me off or refusing to respond. Still 6 months later and they have not fixed the item.

  Not happy at all. Not only did it take more than double the amount of time promised, the overall quality is subpar to say the least. Tonight was the first time the table was full of people and it shakes when someone is cutting, like shakes bad. I will have another company come in and fix it and wont be using Hope again. Just overall poor experience. And as far as the truck catching on fire excuse, unfortunately for me the owner forgot he used that excuse 2 weeks earlier for the delay and then had the audacity to tell me my tables were in his truck and trailer ready to be delivered and caught on fire the night before. I Find it very hard to believe they had two massive fires within two weeks. Im sure that will be used for a while. Dont fall for it. I will save the table was definitely Built-in assembled in one day because thats the overall quality of it and for thousands and thousands of dollars Im sorry, not acceptable

  ***** should be ashamed of himself, claiming to be a man of God. He took my 50% deposit said and contracted that the custom cabinets would be completed and installed in 6-8 weeks. No communication from this company. After 8 weeks I had to reach out, it was like pulling teeth to get information. ***** came up with multiple lies about why he was delayed with my project. Then schedules a date, about ***************************************** on the day before installation that he was canceling my order! I gave away the unit I had in the living room, paid someone to paint the wall to match the stain I had picked. This company is unbelievable. At all costs, avoid this company. ***** is a liar and not trustworthy, if I could give a negative zero star, I would!

  Rip off!They will take your money and keep your deposit without doing anything. They lie about almost everything and use the excuse that they had already spent your deposit money even though we cancelled within the 30-day period as stated on the contract.

  ******* used his faith and family values as a guide to win the trust of his clients and close his deal. I had read a bad bbb review and even confronted him about it but he re assured me that was an unreliable client because he had a 5 star rating in ********* But now I know how. They promised our built in tv entertainment center by late January, we got it march. We werent necessarily in a rush at the time so I didnt mind that. When they installed the unit, it was beautiful but not the right color or finish I had requested. They needed additional supplies so to avoid delays I purchased them out of pocket and never got paid for it and he took some of those items with him. Mind you, part of his sales pitch is that his price includes everything until completion. Then he was supposed to return to correct the color and thats when the excuses began. Each time more elaborate than the last. Until eventually I guess he ran out of excuses because without any explanation he blocked my number and ******** account. Thats when I realized, he only promotes his company via ******** because it gives him the control of blocking customers hed had issues with so as to maintain his skewed perfect reviews. It truly is a shame because other than the colors not being exactly what I requested, the entertainment center is beautiful and quite the statement price but it remains unfinished and he was very unprofessional in the end to block me with no explanation and not completing his work.

  While the work they did, in the end, is good, it is definitely NOT worth the anguish and stress ***** put us through. From the day he came out to give us an estimate, he was attentive, almost annoying with his constant messages until he got a deposit from us. Then we didnt hear from him for months. We were told we would have our office/bookcase in 6 to 8 weeks, but it took 17. Whenever we reached out, it would take days to get a response. Then the excuses started coming in as to why they had to postpone delivery. Finally, when it came, it was not right and they had to come back a second time. Literally minutes after it was complete he started asking for the remainder of his money, regardless of the errors. And then the text messages started coming again and again around the clock for 24 hours until he threatened to come back and take the unit off the wall. We paid in full 24 hours after the final delivery (which wasnt perfect, but good) just to stop the constant rude text messages. ***** hides behind his family values, but its a bunch of balogna. All he wants is his money.
