This company is the biggest scam I've ever seen! First of all, they are an HMO with ZERO in network providers. However, I was sold on the promises of: 60% off doctor bills, NO deductible, NO coinsurance, Vision/Hearing/Dental/Medical, Accidental death and dismemberment, Blood and lab work, "PICK AND CHOOSE" hospitals and doctors, $5000 for an accident and $1000 a day for ER visits. NONE of that was true. I had a deductible, they have NO dentists or medical doctors in network and they only covered 10% of a hospital visit ONE TIME. The real problem though is the complete inability to even see a doctor because ANY doctor they would provide me through the 'find a provider' service, has never even heard of this insurance and nobody would accept it. I've been turned away by countless practices over the years because this "insurance" is a scam run out of a call center somewhere. I want all my money back and I want some type of penalty enforced on this illegal scam company.Business Response

This company is operating under Care Connect and ***************** They are a bait and switch company and fraudulent. You think youre talking to someone from ************** and this company will mislead you. They sign you up for free healthcare and then charge you ****** for dental and vision and other that isnt even able to be utilized in your state while you thought you were signing up for a Michigan health plan. They promised to cancel my charge but its still there. The guy will scream at you if you call. They operate under all these names and phone numbers so you cannot track them. They pretend to be of different entities but theyre all the same company getting you to sign up under false pretenses and charging a huge amount monthly. They use ************** in a fraudulent manner as they say youre paying all this money for it but youre really paying for their bogus dental/vision plan. Do yourself a favor and just go to the ************** website and sign up or contact a health insurance carrier yourself instead of using a third party entity. They say the contract is voided but they never take the charge off. They send you a paper saying they never charged you when they have been though their representative says theyll give you your money back. Its all a lie.Business Response

I signed up for this insurance, and for the past two years, I have been trying to understand why ** receiving all these medical bills. I was told the insurance would cover the yearly checkup, preventive care, dental, and vision, but this turned out to be a scam and a big lie. Despite this, they took my money every month and just charged me again after I asked them to cancel the policy.I'm out of $9,684 plus all the bills that this company never paid forInitial Complaint

FRAUD On Jan. 4th, 2023, I called Marketplace & advised that I needed medical ins. since I turned 26 and no longer on my moms **** During the conversation with Marketplace, I was asked questions, like how often do I see doctors, if I had any medical problems & if I would need access to mental ************** told them no. Marketplace Rep. then told me he found a medical plan for me & signed me up for Continental Care. I decided to call to make an appt. with a ********** was unable to find ANYONE who accepted Continental Care. I called at least 10 doctors and NONE of them had ever heard of Continental Care.I called Continental Care back on 10/20/23 and the lady told me that I HAD to sign an online document in order for them to give me names of in network doctors. She then gave me the name of a **************************************************** but it was Friday at 5PM and they were already closed and she told me I had to tell them I was on a MULTIPLAN and they would accept it. On Monday, 10/23/23, I called to make an appointment with ***************************************************, but even his office told me they had never heard of Continental Care. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!!I dug a little deeper and this company has a VERY LOW rating and there are complaint after complaint on BBB stating that this company is fraudulent!! I know it is because they took my money, having me believe that I had insurance coverage, when in fact nobody will take this supposed insurance. I want ALL my money back!!!! I cancelled this policy today 10/23/23 by calling Continental Care over the phone!P.S. My mother was listening to the entire conversation when I purchased the policy and not once did either one of us hear that this was NOT medical coverage! This is pure FRAUD!!!I have uploaded a document with the payments made on the next page are all the fees taken by Continental Care from my checking since January 2023.I want my $2,745.00 back!!!!Initial Complaint

Dear ************,
Continental Care has received your complaint. We take every complaint very seriously and are looking to all the details.
We have reviewed your file and it is recorded that you signed up on Nov. 8th, 2022. On this day you were sent an e-signature document that lists all the benefit information. We send this document so that our potential members are fully aware of the benefits. It is documented that you read and signed this document on Nov. 8th, 2022, this signed document was then emailed to you on Nov. 9th, 2022.
However, as a reassurance, we do provide our members with a 30-day look period. If for any reason they are not satisfied, the policy can be cancelled, and a full refund is issued.
According to our logs you signed into your online fulfillment on Nov. 9th, 2022. You had access to all your benefit information, provider searches, billing, contact information and much more.
We see a dental provider called into member services on Dec.5th, 2022. Unfortunately, this provider was out of network. If you would like to use your savings, you would need to go to a provider in the dental network.
On Jan. 24th, 2023, you logged into your online fulfillment and updated your payment information.
On Feb. 21st, 2023, you called into member services and spoke to a representative that went over all your benefits, how to use them and sent you all the brochures to your email address as per your request.
On Feb. 22nd, 2023, you called into member services and the spoke to a representative that went over all your benefits and explained how to use them. After this call we did not hear from you again until we received this complaint.
We have cancelled your plan and no further monies will be taken from your account. We feel that we have provided you with excellent customer service and would have assisted you were we aware that there was an issue.
We regret that you were not satisfied with the plan but feel that there is no refund due at this time. If you have any questions or would like to speak with us, please contact ******************************* at *********************. Again, we are always happy to help.

The credit card charges showed up as *********** $386.90 on 10/15/22 & $486.85 on 9/9/22. Today is 11/10/22. This company is defrauding callers as a health insurance company. Be careful what site you click on when Googling "Obamacare". I thought I was filling out a request to sign up for Obamacare and was transferred to an agent that suggested this plan as the least expensive option for my needs as someone who was temporarily unemployed. He asked for the names of my regular medications and said they were covered. When I went to refill one of them at a pharmacy, I paid out of pocket over $100, which is the price through Good Rx without insurance. He also did not tell me until after he charged my card that there was a "lifetime member" sign-up fee of, I believe, $99 and a minimum membership period of 2 months. When I gained employment and called today to cancel, the number on the back of the card ************ took me to a retail rebate call line. The many words on my "insurance card" include Continental Care, UCA, ********** limited benefit plan, ********************** Member Info. My insurance card and the emails I received after signing up look completely valid. Since the phone # did not work, I emailed the email address on the MyMemberInfo website ************************ and got a call from ******** a minute later saying they got my email about cancellation and want me to call them back. I never once used a benefit from this "insurance" due to not getting sick during my 2 months using it. I don't know if the company existed at one time but was likely a scam to begin with.
