On May 24, 2024, while searching for affordable health insurance, I sent my phone number to this company. They called me right away and led me through their application process. This company tricked me into giving them personal information over the phone (SSN) instead of giving me the option to send the information discretely. They then proceeded to ask for a credit or debit card to process my monthly premium. I realized that insurance companies usually do not ask for payment information until after an application had been approved, so I hung up, but now they will not stop calling me. I request for the company to delete the information I gave them and to quit calling me. My encounter with the company leads me to believe that they have fraudulent practices, or they are a scamming operation.Initial Complaint

Provided Heaith Insurance for me. I did not recognize the name that was used on my card so cancelled the card in July of 2023, which cancelled the insurance. However, the company charged me $150.93/month from November of 2023 through March of 2024, a total of $754.65. I called them yesterday to officially cancel the account-after contacting my credit card company and the Prodigy Group in ********** who both said they were not responsible-and asked for my money to be returned, as I did not have that insurance from July of 2023 to the present-the rep did say they had cancelled the coverage due to non-payment in July 2023.Initial Complaint

I just found out, thanks to one of those apps that tell you who's calling) this company has been calling me from various numbers( which I have all blocked) since November an still continues to call. This company must of got my number from a database. I don't know how to get in touch with the company on my own since they have different locations. I have no interest in doing business with this company an would like calls to stop. Thank youInitial Complaint

I visited Patient First months ago and used my insurance which they do accept. Patient First has attempted to reach them but they havent been able to get through. This has caused my Patient First bill to be charged without insurance leaving me with a bill. When calling the insurance company in attempts to resolve, no one answers. I pay monthly for insurance to be able to cover potential medical expenses. Id like my ********************** company to get in contact with Patient First pay for the medical services as agreed in the policy. Thank you.Initial Complaint

I purchased a health insurance with PRODIGY INSURANCE ASSOCIATES LLC the plan that they offered to me is Multiplan - Federal Life, when they offered to me no one explain that I will have some kinds of discounts and not a covered (I understand that is hard find a insurance company that offer 100% with less cost monthly) anyone neither the policies explain that the benefits like pharmacy, doctor and emergency visits I will have coverage up to 70%. Which I just know how this works after receive all the bills from my provider and spend 3 days (9am-4pm) on phone trying to understand my policies, because the policies available to me is a general policy and asked a detailed policy for don't have any surprise and they sent to me the same general policy. After that I called department claims and they explained to me that some of my claims was denied because I don't have coverage, for this reason I receive only discount. Non conform with this explanation I called benefits department asking them why i have 2 policies with different coverages, and if they can send to department claim the second policy, Etan (the supervisor) refused to send it, or put the claim department at the same call to try to solve it, he told that they already have, they refused to explain to me percentage applied at my bill, because I have some claim that was covered 100% and why others `up to 70%, I would like to understand what criteria was applied to charge me. One department said to me that I don't have coverage other says that I have only discounts. One have one policy another have a different policy. With results and infinities calls the answer that I received from Etan PRODIGY INSURANCE ASSOCIATES LLC supervisor is: `That`s the way insurance works' if I want add more benefits and pay fill dollars more he can do it for me, I was clear that I don't want purchase any additional benefits because I suppose to have already included benefits coverage in the policy that I signed. During this call with Etan he makes a lot fan/jokes about my concerns and said that I don't know nothing about insurance because he has 5 years with health insurance and I don't have it, I told him that wasn`t done with that call because i didn`t have the right explanations and solution, he hang up!
