I chose this company because, as a small business owner myself, I try to patronize local businesses as often as possible. The next time I move, I'll just spend the money and use actual professionals. In short, the movers broke my *********** There's a gaping hole in the back of my television, they destroyed one of the legs, and whatever they did damaged the reflector bulbs inside the TV.Three guys showed up, but one seemed to be the driver primarily. My "spidey-senses" started tingling when they showed up in a U-Haul, which lends me to believe that the image on their website of a truck with their logo on the side was done by Photoshop, Canva, or similar editing software. The movers were pleasant enough.Honestly, their attitude wasn't an issue. It wasn't until the very end of the move, when they were leaving, that the driver said, "Oh, the only issue was the **** When I asked him what he was talking about, he said, "They didn't tell you?" and then he groaned and showed me the broken TV leg. Then it came time to mount the *** and I noticed the gaping hole in the other leg compartment---a hole in the actual television frame. When I finally had the television hooked up, I saw the screen damage.Suddenly, they seem to have gone missing. No responses to emails, texts, and the mailbox comes back as full. Please avoid them. This company is not worth your hard-earned money, especially during times like these.

A+ contracted our move (job ID ********* for Dec 9th 2023. The move was pretty long distance, and was over $8000 for the initial estimate, which included mover's insurance for potential damages. The movers they set me up with were absolutely incompetent, did an awful job of scheduling, left trash all over my new place, forgot to deliver an entire palette of my things until weeks after, and caused irreparable damage to most of my furniture. I have called both the movers and A+ multiple times to get the claim going for my damages over the past 2 months. The movers have told me all claims need to go through A+ since they were the broker. A+ refuses to accept my calls, I've left several voicemails with both the general customer service and the agent who set up the move, and received no response. I've also tried to email them at the address listed on their website, which is an invalid address. This process has made my move an absolute nightmare, and at very least, I want to be able to file my claim so that I can fix at least some of setbacks A+ has caused me, if not an additional refund for the horrible service I was given.

I received a quote from A Plus for my move from MT to **. I first contracted with them on July 13, 2022. I paid $716.60 on July 15 for the deposit. The job number is *******. I later paid an additional $500 on August 20 for my Aug. 22 pickup because we had more than the original estimate. The movers arrived on the 22nd and packed up our stuff and I paid them $1,642.00 on that day. We arrived in ** and our first delivery date was September 10. Then September 19. And now just whenever it comes. The company is difficult or impossible to call. I also think they have blocked some of my numbers. All my personal mementos and photos are on their truck, along with my furniture and household goods and clothes. I have been in my house for over three weeks and my belongings are nowhere to be found.

On 8.6.22 we contracted A Plus to facilitate our move from ********** to **.After arranging a move date, assessing quantities and making our down payment of $2.382.15, A Plus went dark. Multiple attempts (In excess of 10) to contact A Plus for an update on our move by phone and email were ignored with no response what so ever. Even informed them via email that if we do not hear back, we will cancel and move on.As we approached our move (One week out) we were forced to find another moving company as we had no reason to believe A Plus was going to address our move. After securing another mover, we contacted A Plus via email to inform them of our cancellation and request a refund. Still no response. Our cancellation was greater than 72 hours out which is inline with the cancellation policy.Oddly, the day prior to our move, we received a call from a third party mover contracted by A Plus attempting to set up our move.We informed this mover that we were no longer using A Plus.Over a month later + multiple emails requesting our refund, we have still yet to hear back.I have attempted to resolve through my financial institution, however A Plus will not release the funds.I was finally able to contact A Plus today and speak with a rep. *** rep was confrontational, pushed back, made excuses and said I can speak to a supervisor. I asked to speak to the supervisor and was told that she (*******) is not there.

07/08/22 paid A+ moving solutions $999.63 they sold us on the company with a 5 star and A+ with the BBB. This was a full service move (aprox amount of $4,200) that was scheduled for 07/24/22-07/25/22. On 07/23/22 confirmed move for 07/25/22 and the total of move doubled (over $8,000). I agreed to the increased cost and paid an additional $1,000. On 07/25/22 the company never showed up at the allotted time (10am-2pm). Called A+ moving solutions and the company told us "there was a huge mix up, we can schedule someone in 1 hour (pick up now scheduled for 3pm)." At 6pm a small u-haul truck (wouldn't fit all of our things) showed up with others furniture in it. The driver was on drugs and took another inventory. The estimate increased to a total price of aprox $14,600. When called A+moving solutions they requested an increase with a deposit and told us that our things would have to be taken in 2 separate trucks. I told them I was not going to give additional money because the contract that we signed was for all of our things to be moved by 07/25/22 (they didn't fulfill their contract promise). I am out aprox $2,000. When I contacted them to ask for my money back (they never moved anything) they told me "no" due to making the decision of not sending a partial load of our things with kids on drugs and not being willing to make an additional deposit of aprox $3,000. I would like my $2,000 back and for the company to be aware that this is horrible business practice. Thank you in advance for your help.

In March I began searching for a company to help me move from ***** to *********, and was contacted by ***** from "A Plus". He gave a pretty good pitch and offered a pretty good estimate. He gave me a total estimate of $5456.43. This estimate was locked in with an initial payment of $1478.88, and I was told that the rest would be collected in two more payments directly to the movers; one at pickup, and one at delivery. I got a call a few days before the move from "****" to go over a final inventory and lock in pricing. He seemed very rushed through the whole call, and asked about only a few specific things. He seemed surprised at the things he asked about, because they were larger items and I hadn't been charged a "bulking fee" for them. Apparently this is a fee used to lock in the space needed, and the physical effort used to load those things. He then sent me another contract, with $2000 added on, and wanted to collect half of that in the moment. $2k seems like a lot of money for the 50 cubes of extra space he gave me, so I asked about it and was told that he was reserving the whole truck for me. I questioned him about it quite a bit, and he stated several times that he was reserving the whole truck for me so that there wouldn't be any problems on moving day. He seemed sure that the movers wouldn't use all that space, and that my final payment would be much less because of the unused space. The movers told me that he only reserved half the truck. When I called to question him about it, he said that the movers should have plenty of space, and if they don't to just give him a call and he would take care of it. When they ran out of space, I tried to call ****, but it seems that he blocked me, because none of my calls will go through. I called the company directly, but have been sent directly to voicemail. I left a message explaining things, but haven't heard anything yet. When I tried calling today, it seems like I'm blocked from that number as well.

We needed to move the contents of an 8X8X16 POD from a storage facility 150 miles away. We were explicitly clear about what we needed. We received a call from a carrier advising their pick up time which would be too late. We tried to cancel, were told we would receive a call back but did not. We disputed the charge for the deposit but withdrew the dispute when an acceptable time was presented to us and we signed a release. After driving 3 hours to the pick up point, we were told by the driver that arrived to pick up the load, that we were way over the contacted amount and the cost would now be three times what we were quoted. The company pointed out that the contract read only x** cu ft, however the inventory list clearly showed 8X8X16.We attempted to reach a reasonable compromise, but were unsuccessful. We told them to forget it and walked away.We feel that the company is taking advantage of us. We only ask for our deposit to be returned.
