    This is a SCAM They stole my money for 2 years denied all my claims. This is the worst decision you could make for you and your pet just save the money it would cost you to pay for a plan.

    ZERO STARS! ABSOLUTE SCAM OF A BUSINESS!! THEY GET YOU TO BUY THEIR POLICY BY LYING AND THEN DENY EVERY CLAIM!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, TOO!! WE SPENT HOURS ON THE PHONE TRYING TO CANCEL. MAKE SURE YOU GET A CANCELATION EMAIL AFTER CANCELLING OR THEY WILL KEEP CHARKING YOU!! WHAT A RIP OFF!! DO NOT BUY THIS PET INSURANCE. YOULL REGRET IT!!

    Filed a WELLNESS CLAIM WHICH IS COVERED, with the requested paperwork and they denied it. I paid my first month premium and they keep denying the claim even though I have sent the paperwork 19 TIMES!@!@!Sent paperwork again, they denied it again saying they could not read it. I sent the email to people I knew and they said they could read the emails just ********* PET INSURANCE IS A SCAM! DO NOT USE!

    I have had Spot Pet Insurance on my female corgi for nearly 3 years. I attempted to file my first claim for an emergency vet appt and treatment while she was being boarded in the facility that adjoins the vet hospital. Although I submitted ALL the paperwork they required, including all my dogs detailed medical records for 3+ years, Spot kept considering the boarding discounts and gift certificates I was given for the boarding facility into their calculation assessment. I've spent hours on the phone with them explaining that I was only requesting reimbursement for 80% of the vet portion of the bill, minus my deductible. The service *** agreed with me that my calculations were correct and that they would resubmit the claim. However, they did NOT resubmit the claim and sent me the same email over and over again saying they don't reimburse for boarding costs (I KNOW THAT!!). They are totally unresponsive and promise one thing on the phone and then deliver the opposite. I would have been better off putting my 3 years worth of premiums into my high interest online savings account--which is what I plan to do going forward.BUYER BEWARE!!! I wish I could have submitted this review with a 0 star rating.

    DO NOT USE. I did everything right. I filed a claim and gave them everything and they made up more policy rules that do not exist. Currently, I am bringing my case to the proper authorities to handle this. My pet is dead because of their delays in paying me back. I paid nearly everything hoping Spot had me covered. ****. Then my dog got sick again and I was completely out of funds to save his life. I hate this Company.

    Do NOT use SPOT. I finally canceled my coverage with them after 2 years because theres always some excuse why they cant provide coverage for my pug. I finally had the last straw today. I called a couple weeks ago before taking my pug to a vet dentist and the SPOT licensed agent told me his extractions would be covered 80%. Im told today that only $75 of the $13,250 surgery would be reimbursed. This is just one example of **** poor coverage and their many many loopholes. Seek pet insurance elsewhere.

    Very difficult to work with They want records dating back to first Vet visit my pup is 19 months old, Records go back 9 months to his first Vet visit. Denied the claim. Multiple calls, finally reopened the claim.

    Ive never had pet insurance so I thought Id give it a try. Did my research and decided to go with the Spot Pet Insurance the minute Imake a claim because my puppy has an upset tummy. They ran you through the wringer every day saying they need more and more paperwork, but they have their paperwork and now saying The process is 4 to 6 weeks. This is ridiculous all for an upset stomach. They can keep The money not worth my time!

    Stay away. I was a member for over an year paying $50 per month. My dog is 4 years old and very healthy overall. we feed him high quality fresh food and he is lean weight. very active dog. probably an ideal customer for any health ********************** company for years to come. Guess what. To my surprise I filed a first claim for outer ear infection for $77 as he developed an external ear infection and they rejected it. saying that one of the records from vet from 2023(!) indicated allergies. and these guys connected allergies to ear infection and called it pre-existing condition!! pre-existing condition for allergy!! which dog does not have one. I can understand a more severe underlying condition that may lead to cancer or other critical diseases that maybe justified but allergy??? Jeez. If they can deny a $77 claim calling allergy as a pre-existing condition, I am going to run away real fast from them. what a scam. and they have incompetent people running their claims department who have no clue how to grow their business and what is considered acceptable risk.

    DO NOT USE SPOT I waited the required period before processing (went to the vet about **** after getting approval. Sent 5 years 7 months of medical records w nothing more than worming and fea and tick. She was also given gabba for vet visits. She gets scared.I took her to vet for a rodent cyst, this was denied because of the gabba. Which has 0 to do w the cyst. Claims processor was **** and dismissive, however the customer service to CANCEL was great. I cant express how bad this experience was
