6/9/21, I got a quote for a bath remodel to include demo and shower replacement with seamless floor, half glass door and repositioning sink from north side to west side of bathroom. 1st issue began when a 2 wk frame turned to 2 mths. At that time Pics and videos were sent of inconsistencies in the work, cracked grout in the shower and floor tiles, debris in drain, uneven drywall lines, rusting hardware and the shower flooding into the bedroom. I was told that I didn't pay for the upgraded package to have those things perfected. He agreed to change the shower head to help the flooding, water still ran into the room forcing me to install a shower door which costs an extra $1800. I explained to ***************** that I was unhappy with the situation and how it was handled. Shortly after ****************** ceased all further communication. Jan 2023, those botched repairs have caused in depth damage. On Jan 19th, water started seeping thru the floors and closet. I contacted ****************** and sent pics and videos. I asked was there a warranty for the bathroom due to the grout deteriorating. He explained there's no warranty and its the homeowners job to maintain. I reminded him not only was it not completely properly then but no after care instructions were provided to me as the homeowner. I also explained to my knowledge most licensed and insured companys provide some type of warranty. He explained that his didnt and that as the homeowner I would need to rectify the problem myself. Being a business owner, that prompted a red flag. I learned Mr. ******** company, Trewinds Fantasy Homes Consultants is a fictitious name registered to a male also named *************************** but Sr., and was not the person I did business with. I believe ********************** didn't have proper licensing and/or insurance. Two different plumbers determined that corners were cut during the remodel which is causing flooding. I now have more out of pocket cost to fix it including not being able to use the shower.
