      I've loved Toojays for 20+ years and was in the email club. On 2/3/23, I got an email offer for 9 Free Mini Black-and-***** Cookies. It expired 3/5/23. (PIC 1)I went to redeem it 2/25. The cashier couldnt get the offer to work, and called the manager, who was rude. He said my code was invalid and I probably already used it. I told him I did not. He shrugged, said people are reusing codes and he can't honor it, dismissed me and addressed the next customer. I was not lying! I left humiliated.I called the office, but got no answer. I wrote via the website and got no reply. A week later I wrote again and said Id report this to the BBB. I got a call from a ** that hour. While explaining the issue, I remembered that the LAST email offer I had used, 11 months prior (my birthday cake slice), ALSO hadnt worked. They gave me my cake anyway and said I should call and check my account. I did, but got no reply and forgot about it. I was still getting emails. I told the ** I look forward to my birthday offer, but don't want to be humiliated by bad codes again. He said hed make sure it is fixed, and that Id get my birthday email in a week.Next day I got an email from *******. I explained what happened and noted the same issue last year (PIC 2). She said as an apology they'd send $25 in Toojays Cash that never expires (PIC 3). I was willing to end this, so I sent my address.But... then Toojays dropped me from the email list. I went from daily emails to ZERO, and NO birthday offer, which the ** promised would work this time.In May I got in the mail not $25 Toojays Cash that never expires, but 2 coupons: $10 off and $5 off (PIC 4-5). They expired in 2 weeks (5/31/23) and cant be combined. This wasn't resolved, and they expected me to go back? I emailed to ask why the change and why I was deleted from the email list. Im still awaiting an answer. AWFUL service. Send me a bad offer, then punish ME? I feel like they are still accusing me. I haven't been back.

      I've just seen this was marked as "Refund/Exchange Issues." Just clarifying that this is not true. I never asked for a refund. I simply went to use an email offer the company sent me, and when I got to the restaurant, the offer didn't work. I was embarrassed and dismissed from the store without being allowed to redeem the offer, and was told multiple times that I had already redeemed the offer (which I denied multiple times because I had not). I would never have even thought of trying to collect twice. After calling and writing to try to straighten this out, I was promised it would be fixed and offered an apology gift of $25 in a restaurant gift card that does not expire. Instead of fixing the issue, they dropped me from the email list, then sent a $5 and a $10 coupon that expired 2 weeks later. I want this issue fixed, please. I was polite to their rude manager and in every phone and email communication. I do not deserve to be shunned from one of my favorite restaurants due to their own technical errors and poor customer service.

      I responded to ******************************* email from 2 days ago. He sent a link to reestablish me to the email list and offered to send some apology certificates if I sent my mailing address. I followed the instructions to rejoin the email list. I also sent him my mailing address as requested. I have hope that this will be resolved.

      Can I get a confirmation that the ******'s staff member who reached out to me actually got my reply? I see he has said here that I did not respond. I don't want to close the case if there is still something wrong. I have been dealing with not hearing back from them for over a year, so there might be something amiss technologically. When I called to report the original problem with the email not working, I got no response. When I called and emailed after the incident I reported here, when I was accused of fraud because my email wasn't working, I got no response the first time. When I emailed again after it wasn't taken care of as promised, I again got no response. So just making sure they are receiving my emails.

      Hello - I have not responded yet as to "Accept" or "Reject," because I wanted to make sure the email codes were fixed and that the business was actually receiving my communication in the first place. **************** from the business did respond, and moreover, suggested a way I can test the codes without going to the restaurant. Then today I received in the mail a letter of apology with a goodwill gesture of ******'s cash (which I was promised before but was never sent). I am satisfied now that they are trying to make this unfortunate incident right. I came to the BBB site to click "Accept" and close the case, but I no longer have the option, as it looks like someone marked it "Reject" on the BBB end, probably so the case wouldn't time out. Can I please be given the option to Accept the Resolution again? Thanks.

      I ordered half a pound of sliced turkey at Too Jays on ************* in ***** Beach. The price of the turkey was listed on the board on the wall.( $15.98/lb) The price on the sticker was not charged but a higher price was charged. I immediately upon getting home and looking at the package and the receipt, emailed the manager. He told me I could come in the next day to get the difference back but I live 30 miles away so that wasnt possible. Then in another e mail he said he would send me a $20 coupon for the restaurant . I was thrilled as this was much more than I was owed. I thought the manager was very nice to do that. When nothing came in the mail I e mailed several times. First he said he thought his assistant mailed it. Then he said he would mail it. I still didnt get it eve tho he said he did mail it himself. This occurred on July 15th. It is now more than 3 weeks later so I believe je never did mail it. BTW, the cashier even put the wrong date on the package ( it says July 16 but it was July 15 when I bought it).
