On September 11, 2024 I brought my vehicle to Caroline Tire to have a diagnostic test run to determine what issues were occuring. I was told that I needed my radiator repaired/replaced. I paid $812.28 for the service. Roughly one week later I began to experience other issues with my vehicle. Upon returning to Caroline Tire I was informed that the water pump was bad. We paid $598.67 to replace/repair the water pump. I picked my vehicle up and drove home. While driving, my vehicle began to over heat. I pulled over and noticed that the hoses were not connected and the radiator cap was missing. I called Caroline Tire to report these issues, but no one answered and voicemail was not available. I then proceeded to the auto parts store to purchase a radiator cap and coolent. This cost $31.54. Upon putting the coolent in and replacing the radiator cap is when I noticed the hoses were not connected. These issues caused me to miss 2 days of work . I returned the vechile to Caroline Tire and expressed my frustration. I asked to speak to the owner but was denied. I was given $70 dollars compensation for the issue. I am not satisfied with the servie or the amount. When I brought my vehicle in initially I should have been informed about all issues. I feel deceived. I lost time from work and had to pay additional fees for their mistake and lack of thoroughness.Initial Complaint

The incident occurred on April 10, 2024 around 10 a.m. I paid $25 for a tire rotation at Caroline Tire in **********, and when the service was completed I was given the go ahead from the technician to drive away. I drove about two blocks before the tire on the driver's side flew off as I was driving. I immediately contacted Caroline Tire and they towed my car back to their garage. The two managers, **** and *****, apologized for their technician's negligence. Then the manager, ****, had a "friend" of his look at the damage on my car and estimated the repairs to be $1300. **** tried to convince me that his friend could get the parts needed to fix my car at cost, and claimed the man had been fixing cars for years. Not knowing anything about this person or trusting what **** was saying was the truth, I took the car to a reputable repair shop down the road. To my surprise, there was a lot more damage to the car than initially discovered, and the actual cost for repair was $2400. Along with the car rental cost (which was needed so I could get back and forth to my job while the repairs were being done) the total amount out of my pocket came to $2,850. Caroline Tire, to my disbelief, refused to pay the complete amount, opting to only cover the original quote provided by their unauthorized friend. I've retained a lawyer and Caroline Tire has not responded to the demand for payment letter. Now I'm in the position of trying to recoup the money I had to spend because of their negligence. This entire incident has been a financial burden and should never have happened to begin with. All I'm asking for is the monies I am owed.Initial Complaint

I went to ******** tires this morning 3/15/2024 I was there to get my left rear tire fix ************** told me that I need to put new tires on the back of my car because I explain to him that it was bouncing. He said it was cause I needed tires so I proceeded to put two tires on the back. I started on my way home and realized that it was still bouncing. I contact ************** he asked me to bring the car back. I did. He told me that I need to put another tire on I did . On my way home they were still bouncing. I called ************** back and let him know that I was still having the bounce it in my left rear tire. He asked me to bring the car back I did. He wanted to put another tire back on there. I told him no Ill just put my tire that I have in my trunk that he took off to put it back on. And just give me a refund, he refused. I asked for a manager or the owner and he refused to give me that information. He also refused to return my money. He was very disrespectful. I am a senior citizen, black female, and the way he talk to me I didnt appreciate it, but I didnt start it , any trouble I leftInitial Complaint

On 2/07/2024, @ 11:10am, I placed an order for 4 ********* tires; not in stock. 2 - 4 days for delivery. Total value $1714.10. Clerk asked for $850.00 deposit in order to place the order. On my way out of the store, I meet a friend, told him about my tire purchase and inform me that I was been rip off with the price. He made a call, same brand tires with a comp alignment for $400.00 less than what "Caroline Tires" in ***************, ** was charging me. An hour and 10 minutes later, I went back to Caroline Tires, told the clerk that I wanted to cancel my order and informs me that, it will be a $205.68 fee for canceling the order. I looked at the invoice (#*****), read the "small print"- "store policy, rules and regulations" and it does NOT say anything about a charge for cancelling an order. Besides a Diagnostic and hourly fee is an overnight storage fee of $25.00/day.I think is VERY UNFAIR for this store to charge an exuberant fee for canceling a purchase order. No where in the store/shop there is a sign informing the clientele of a "charge fee" for any type of cancelations. Also, the clerk, ******, should verbally have informed me of a fee for cancelling the order. Is midnight and still have not been refunded the balance ($644.32). I hope I do not have to hire a Lawyer to get my money back.PLEASE, BBB, help me resolve this issue. Is NOT fair to steal people's money this way. It will off being OK if the cancelation fee had been $25.00 or $50.00, they are charging me $51.42/tire.In advance, thanks for your help and cooperation on this matter.Initial Complaint
