We had a barn door installed. They were a Lowes Contractor. Showed up on time and did a professional job. Had to assemble the door and then the hardware. Did a great job of talking through how the door was to be hung and how to install. Door turned out great!

I ordered windows from ****** and was told by our salesman that Rodney’s Installer was great. He would be out installer. Rodney’s ended up being horrible. We a had a scheduled time set up months from Lowe’s in advance to install the windows.The windows were delivered the day before installation,,except not all of them. They delivered the rest at 6:00am the next morning.I had been in touch with Dave and he gave our first install date to someone else.They came late the next Day (even though we were booked for them) doing another job in the morning. They got here around noon. I kept calling and was told over and over they were on their way. Put off and put off. They left without finishing the windows that day and said to call the office to book another date!! Dave said, he had no dates open. They apparently do new work and once they get you started you are put off. I had to keep calling and calling to get another date. Again, they were suppose to get here early. Dave said they are on their way at 9:00am…. 10:00 they should be there…11:00 …they had to make a stop…..around noon they got here and still did not finish. No more dates to finish from Dave. There are no times to put you in! I had to call Lowe’s window dept. and get them to call Rodney’s to get an appointment. It was totally stressful . It took a few more days for them to finish and again, I was not sure if, when or if ever they would come here again to finish. We were sooooooo stressed out from this experience. Lowe’s needs to get better installers. They have to settle for an unprofessional group like Rodney’s. Also one last annoying thing. The installer took out packs of screw covers saying you don’t need these. We didn’t know what they were at first but figured it out when we save holes in the windows. I called Dave and talked to the installer about bringing them back. No luck there, Dave was noncommittal.Thank goodness for Lowe’s window dept. they ordered them for me. Rodney’s Carpentry is horrible,

I hired Rodney’s Carpentry to install a screen door through ****** - they never called or showed up!! They gave me two different appointment days and times at first. Then I called ****** installation department and was told Rodney had not put my appointment in the system. The last appointment they gave me was last Thursday between 2p and 3:30p. I had an appointment I canceled for them but they never called or showed me up!!! I called ****** installation department and told them and canceled Rodney!! Not knowing until I went to the store to get my credit, Rodney had picked up the door!!! The Supervisor at ****** called Rodney while I was standing by him and told him to bring the door back!! But as of this date, Rodney has not returned the door to ****’s!!! I went back to ****’s and reported Rodney and called my credit card company and put in a dispute!!! I also contacted my local Police Department to tell them about Rodney’s evil deed!!! The Officer was very helpful!! I called Rodney’s office and told them if they did not return my door to ****’s by Wednesday morning, I would file charges against them!!! Rodney’s Carpentry is NOT reliable, and does not care about their customers!!! There is no reason for him to deliberately not bring my door back to ****’s!!! After reporting Rodney's Carpentry to Law Enforcement, and informing the office I had reported them, Rodney FINALLY returned my door to ****’s - he should have done the right thing in the first place!! Now, Rodney's Carpentry is putting the blame on ****'s - telling the BBB person, I should file a complaint against ****'s. The only thing ****'s did wrong was hire them!! BEWARE of Rodney's Carpentry!! They are NOT reliable, nor are they trustworthy!!

I have found the scheduler named David to be quite dishonest, keeping me waiting all day, telling me installers were on their way to my house every hour throughout the day, when they were not. They didn’t even have the door from Lowe’s! Current attempts to have the original door repaired and screen door delivered is still unclear. We have a repair date set, but no one will confirm that they actually have our screen. When installation was rescheduled, and the installers did show up with the door, they were very neat and clean and polite, and appear to have done a good job. However, every time we use the door after installation, the rollers were scraping the track leaving metal shards all over the floor. Rodney himself got involved and appeared to be helpful, but David will not let us be in touch with him directly, as Rodney had requested. Our sliding door and screen was purchased many months ago, and we still don’t have delivery of the screen door; I can’t get confirmation that they have our screen door in hand, which they said they did in the past, but was not true. Very frustrating and disappointing experience, and I will never use them again.
