2:50 Pm 08/05 /2022 Scheduled an appointment to meet with representative from Aquarius Water Refining 5914 FL-674 Wimauma Florida 33598, concerning a recent discovery that explained the poor quality water that my residence has had. I bought a system from Aquarius in October of 2014 under the premise that I would enjoy quality drinking water straight from the faucet at the cost of $3690. The water was smelling of sulfur to varying degrees at different times common to untreated well water in Florida. I lost water pressure all together in mid December and I addressed the water quality with the Technician Bill, he cleaned the unit with peroxide. I thought the best solution within two months was to have a Culligan R.O. system for actual drinking an additional $1499 but it made the taste tolerable. I also installed a three stage whole house filtration system with filtration from 50 microns, 20 microns down to 5 microns to improve on the water quality, this is the filtration level that was supposed to be the output of the system, but requires cleaning of the filter often indicating little filtration at all. There was a service about a year later that changed nothing. I recently had a new technician to service the system and had insight to why the system never performed as advertised. It requires the installation of a carbon filter medium that removes the sulfur which is why the unit is described as AQ Aris for sulfur. No trace of the filter medium existed and was apparent it was never loaded into the tank and at a cost of about $650 per cubic foot of which one cubic foot at a minimum is needed, they are well aware that the filter medium is internal and not visible without dissasembly. I called Aquarius about this and scheduled an appointment with the technician.
