We contacted Southern Trust Auto and initially corresponded with salesman Mauricio ****** by text and phone then on Thursday March 2nd 2023 we went in to speak to Mauricio about the Red 2010 Toyota Sienna, Mauricio was off that day so we worked with Jeffrey ******** the Finance Manager. We were satisfied with everything except that there were two missing wheel covers on the drivers side of the van and there was no manual for the vehicle. We were assured that the wheel covers would be shipped to us and that he would print up a copy of the manual but weeks passed with nothing showing up. When we called to inquire about the wheel covers we were told that it was being looked into but evenually we were totally ignored and the phone is being hung up on us by the owner Chris ******* and others in the dealership. We did manage to speak to salesman Mauricio ****** who did in fact acknowledge that they owned us the two wheelcovers but that I needed to speak to the owner Chris ******* who after speaking to him told us that they were looking into why the wheelcovers weren't shipped out yet, after several more calls to the owner Chris ******* he began to hang up the phone on me as soon as I said who I was and as I began inquiring about the wheelcovers. He is truly a despicable individual. The most shameful behavior and thievery on the part of the Southern Trust Auto Group is that Jeffrey ******** the Finance Manager had us sign off on the contract that they owed us nothing more on the purchase of the vehicle after verbally assuring us several times that he would ship us the wheel covers and manual, He's nothing more than a lying thief and conman. They may as well remove the word "Trust" in the name of their auto group because they are far from trustworthy. To those considering purchasing a vehicle from Southern Trust Auto Group in Winter Garden, FL please just be aware of their deceitful practices and get everything in writing from these shysters. Recently purchased an older car from this company. The car fell apart once it was driven off the lot even though we were told there should be no major issues. These people are in it to make a buck and could care less about their customers or their safety. Do your research and your homework if you plan on doing business with this company. My daughter lost thousands of $$ because she did not do her research. Don't make the same mistake she did. Better yet, don't do business with Souther (lack of) Trust Auto Group. Go to a reputable dealer.
