BFARR did such a wonderful job. My ********* bill between March 2024 and March 2025 averages to $91 a month. A tremendous savings on my power bill. I would recommend this company all day long. BFARR Exceeded my expectations on every level. Thoughtful employees doing their jobs with pride in their work. IT HAS BEEN TWO YEARS SINCE MY INSTALLATION AND I AM STILL AS HAPPY AS THE DAY THEY FINISH THE INSTALLATION.

We recently had our roof replaced with the decision process including interviewing five different companies to ensure we chose the best one. After comparing online reviews, pricing, responsiveness, professionalism, and BBB ratings, BFARR Roofing stood out in every category, making them our top choice. From the very start, the process was seamless. BFARR kept us informed with regular updates on material delivery, the start date, and more. We were particularly impressed with ***** *****, our BFARR representative. ***** was exceptional in communicating every step of the permitting process and other preparations necessary for our project. On the day the work began, ***** initiated a group text with the production manager, project manager, and sales manager, ensuring everyone was on the same page. Throughout the entire project, ***** provided us with regular progress reports, shared photos of the work, and met with us daily to discuss updates and address any questions we might have had.The project was completed with an attention to detail which exceeded our expectations. The work site was left immaculateno debris, nails, or trash anywhere, and our plants had been carefully protected throughout the process. We cannot speak highly enough of BFARR Roofing, and ***** ***** in particular. The post-project follow-up was excellent, ensuring we were completely satisfied with the job. We wholeheartedly recommend BFARR Roofing for quality of work and value, and also strongly suggest requesting ***** ***** as your representative. A company is only as strong as the people who represent it, and ***** is without a doubt an asset/Ambassador for BFARR.

We could not be more pleased with the quality, professionalism, and exceptional customer service of ********************** in replacing our roof. After much research on companies, materials and numerous quotes, we made the decision to go with BFARR. Not only did they hit all the marks, but also in large part due to the amazing care and attention of our sales **** ***** San *****, we felt confident we would be working with an organization of true integrity. Our new roof is beautiful! And from the first meeting, through all the decisions, permitting, roof replacement, and inspections, BFARR's and *****'s communication was exemplary and expedient. Within just a few days of signing the contract, the permit was posted and work was underway. Every member of the crew was respectful, hard working, and conscientious, and we were updated on every step of the project. We are truly grateful and we highly recommend BFARR Contracting for any roofing needs.--**************

After obtaining several quotes from different roofing companies, we had no doubt about contracting the new roof for our home with BFarr Contracting. I have the pleasure of knowing ******************* and I know firsthand and though other satisfied customers of his and his partner's commitment to excellence, their integrity and the passion with which they run BFarr Contracting. Our new Roof completed 05/08/24, was the third contract with their company over the years we had our home and a rental unit A Huge shout out to ***************************, sales manager who was our contact for this job. ***** is a friendly, professional, clear and precise communicator, who was always available and shared with us a gallery of pictures to keep us well informed of the before, during and after the completion of the new roof. The installers (roofers) were also very polite and careful. Great Job! Our Tudor home looks beautiful. HIGHLY recommend BFarr Contracting.

I got estimates from BFARR Contracting to replace the roof on my house for $29,175 and I signed a contract for that amount. After they started they informed me that there was some damaged wood around the roof and they advised me to let them replace it. I asked them to present me with estimates and a new contract for that part but they never gave me a new contract for the additional work. Also, I never gave my consent for them to do any additional work beyond the original contract. They started working on the roof. I am 77 years old and had just lost my son and husband 2 months earlier so I didnt go out that much to check on what they were doing. After a period, when I didnt hear them working any more I went out to check on their progress and I found out that they had removed wood panels from under the 2nd floor balcony (my house is a 2-story wood house) as well as from the first floor which was not related to the roof at all. Further, they hadnt replaced all of it so part of my house was open and exposed to the rain and animals. When I called them to ask the reason for removing the wood from that part of the house without my permission they couldnt answer. When I then asked them to come and replace the wood they had wrongly removed they informed me that they couldnt because the supporting column to which the wood was attached was damaged. They told me I needed to get an engineer to repair it. They then sent me invoice for $67,821.00 and threatened to put a lien on my house if I didnt pay it. I had to pay $9,000 to a different contractor to repair the column they exposed and $6,000 to repaint the house as a result of the damage they incurred. It was not my original intention to do any repair to my house other than replacing the roof as I intended to put it on the market as is. The damage they caused to my house also resulted in significant delays to my listing of the house on the market.

      UPDATE:

I am pleased announce that the issues I faced with BFARR Contracting have been resolved to my satisfaction. BFARR Contracting engaged in discussions with me to address the issues I raised, which resulted in a complete resolution. I am grateful for their willingness to resolve the matter amicably and appreciate their efforts to rectify the situation promptly.

BFARR replaced my roof in an incredibly professional way. I could not be pleased. From initial contact to the job being completed I was kept in the loop with constant text messages and pictures. I could not be more pleased with them and I would highly recommend them for anyone considering a roof replacement. Five star service and a beautiful roof!!!

In response to your review I would like to clear up a few things. Before we started your project, we made it incredibly clear that there was going to be a significant amount of decking and siding that needed to be replaced and all of this was going to be in addition to the roof cost simply because the extent of the damaged wood was unknown until the shingles and siding were removed to really see what was going on. Our estimator photographed the massive drywall stains inside the home and garage that had been going on for years. The stains were not small water spots but rather major damage to the drywall showing neglect to have these issues corrected until it was time to sell the home. The existing cedar siding was installed diagonally in several spots on the home. Although this may look modern and unique, siding is not designed to be installed diagonally as it lets water behind the siding. The signs were very clear that our team would find significant amounts of rotted wood and we even had a section in our proposal that required special attention from you showing you acknowledged the additional wood costs by signing your initials in this section, which you did. Our estimator took 359 photos before we started the project to document these issues thoroughly. Start Date- Monday Oct 23, 2023 we began to remove the existing roofing system and found the flashing was installed incorrectly, siding was rotted, the wood behind the siding was all rotted, and the plywood beneath the shingles was rotted as well. In some areas, there wasnt even plywood installed behind the siding as it was just floating on the framing. We immediately jumped into action by having our Field Supervisor, Project Manager and even our Production manager on site to evaluate and document the multiple issues. You were shown the photos, walked outside with our team to see exactly what was going on and what needed to be replaced. Given this was the first day of removal, only a portion of the roof/siding was removed and the findings were troubling. You were informed that this portion alone would be more than ***** feet of cedar siding, 40 sheets of plywood, rebuild the entire chimney, and re-flash every wall totaling over $20,000-$25,000 in additional material/labor costs. We even called a family member ***** to inform him of what was going on. This was all transparent and communicated very clearly. Our Project Manager offered financing options to help pay for the additional wood costs and you declined saying you would pay cash/check for the additional wood costs. I can certainly understand that news such as this when trying to sell a home is less than ideal. Its devastating actually however, the home was neglected and the previous workmanship appeared to be that of a handyman or homeowner and the damage was extensive. Our team took 225 photos on this first day to document the damage and the new wood that was installed correctly by our team. Day 2- Tuesday October 24, 2023- s we removed more **************** siding, the results were the same- the flashing was installed incorrectly, siding was rotted, the wood behind the siding was all rotted, and the plywood beneath the shingles was rotted. Again you were notified of the findings as we took 100 photos to document the rotted wood/poor workmanship. Day 3- Wednesday October 25, 2023 - As we removed more **************** siding, the results were the same- the flashing was installed incorrectly, siding was rotted, the wood behind the siding was all rotted, and the plywood beneath the shingles was rotted. Again you were notified of the findings as we took 165 photos to document the rotted wood/poor workmanship. This went on for several days as a team of 6-8 roofers worked diligently on your home to get it in condition in which the roof/walls were waterproof and the home was in a sellable condition. Our team worked 6 straight days that week Monday-Saturday. There were not any smoke and mirrors and all of the work being completed was visible from the ground. You were kept in the loop and also you were onsite speaking with our team almost on a daily basis, meeting with our Project Manager and Field Supervisor. It was 100% known and clear that the cost of materials and labor was in addition to the original roof price. The real issue came about on Saturday October 28th when our team uncovered a structural beam that had been leaking for many years and the structural beam was completely rotted. These beams (solely) held up a large section of 24 windows separate from ************** (sort of bay windows). At that point our team informed you that this section needed to be inspected and approved by a structural engineer and would require separate permits, engineered drawings, inspections etc. Again, I understand the frustration of having to get a new roof, having to redo the siding, behind the siding, chimneys, plywood etc and now thisa structural engineer needs to get involved. We were asked by you to simply cover up and hide the rotted structural beam in which we declined for obvious reasons (life/safety issue for the new buyers). Our team installed an *********** leak barrier over this area to make it watertight until you could hire a structural engineer to assess the area (the blue material in the photos that you provided). Im certain that our team doing the right thing, and refusing to cover up the structural beams by your request, was the turning point in your project. From that moment on, your tone changed, you never allowed us back onsite, eliminated contact with our team and refused payment. Payment for the completed roof, which passed final inspection, payment for the thousands of linear feet of cedar siding which also passed inspection. After looking at the permits pulled on the property we were the last one which was finalized and approved for the roof replacement. There was never one pulled for either the structural repairs that were made or not made and covered up. We submitted an invoice then after a period of time we received a letter from your lawyer saying you would not pay a dollar over the contract and we were responsible to pay for the rotten beam replacement and the painting of the newly replaced ****. By our conversations and our contract with you we are not responsible for either one. We offered money off the bill if you paid the roof/siding balance in a timely manner. You then countered with another really lowball offer. We again countered with our original offer for it was a fair one. You then countered again. From your original offer you are already offering 20k higher. We just want to be paid for the work that was performed and agreed upon in our proposal. Mentioned earlier you were on the job every day. It is clear that you were fully aware of the work that was being performed and the additional costs associated with it, you just do not want to pay them. I am hoping that we can resolve this in an amicable manner and put this behind us. You currently owe us $53,000 dollars out of $69,000 of work. The lien was not mentioned until after we received a letter from your lawyer saying you were not paying your bill. We again have never had a conversation with you since you closed off contact with us. The lien that was placed is just to protect us from the money that you owe us. Once you get a lawyer involved and refuse to pay, we have no choice but to enforce the lien. You have not even paid the original contract yet and are trying to pay pennies on the dollar for the work that was performed and billed per contract. You can see from our online reputation that we are a genuinely transparent team of top notch employees who really care about the homeowners experience. Otherwise, our reviews would be littered or riddled with homeowners who were unhappy and felt like they were taken advantage of. We communicated with you throughout the entire project, completed the work beautifully, had all work inspected and approved and now we are only asking for the balance (exactly per agreed upon contract) to be paid in full.

Extremely happy with BFARRs work. Start to finish, from our first call to ***** at the office, to permitting, to completion within two weeks. ***** the site supervisor made sure everything was done promptly and the crew was on site setting up, working, and cleaned up in less than two days. The price was competitive and ***** the production manager was available any time we had a question. Highly recommended.

Very professional. Had roof done and gutters. Gutters were done in about 4 hours they were professionally done and look great. The roof Charles was very nice and explained everything. One thing I liked about this company was the detail of information packet they gave me vs other company just send a quick email. Communication was very nice and very helpful and quick to respond. I had a lot of questions and concerns and they explained and told me or suggested things. Would work with them again.
