    Both of my daughters **** ***** 11 and ***** ***** 9 suffer from asthma. They have been getting treatment at this businesss ************************************************************************************************** location for the past 2 years. They get a checkup every 6 months and they get their asthma medication renewed. They were last seen in February of 2024 and their follow up appointment was on August 15 2024 with ******* ***** nurse practitioner. On August 12 we got a call from the doctors office stating that ******* ***** left the practice back in June of 2024 and they need to reschedule the appointments with a different doctor. Their soonest appointments were not until the end of November of 2024. The kids were out of their asthma medication so I asked if they could refill the medication at least. They said they cant do that until the new doctor would get a chance to do a check up. They never sent out any notice that their provider left the office, we were only made aware of it 3 days before their August 15 2024 appointment. Since the kids could not be seen until November of 2024 and they needed their medication I asked to speak to a manager and he related the same thing, that their provider left in June and they dont have any appointments until the end of November and they cant refill the medication. I then asked to speak to his manager and he said that I will receive a call back. It is now August 27 2024 and I have yet to get a call back, the kids have been out of their medication for almost a month and their asthma is worsening. Another asthma provider would also take months to get an appointment with. This is was their mistake because they failed to provide notice that the provider was leaving so we need them to be willing to help get our children treatment. If we dont get a resolution we will file a complaint with the ****************************, but honestly we just need to get our girls treatment.

    I forgot to mention the name of the manager I spoke to was ***** *******. He was extremely rude and unhelpful and only repeated that the next available appointment was the end of November. Because our younger daughters asthma symptoms are getting so bad to the point she has a hard time sleeping I called today and spoke to ***** again, and after letting him know the practice was breaking the law and my only option to treat my daughter would be the emergency room, and that if they wouldnt find an appointment the next correspondence would be from my lawyer, he did manage to schedule both girls for 9/19/24. But that is still 2 weeks away and more than a month after their originally scheduled appointments. The kids need treatment ASAP for their permanent condition that needs continuous treatment.
