I thought I called carnival customer service. I got a man named *** who said he was from carnival and to change my son on my cruise from 1 son to another, he said it would be $425. I told him I didn't have that much and he said he could use his discount and it would be $300. I still didn't have it but did because my son couldn't go. I found out on accident that carnival does not charge for this. I went back through my email from *** and realized it was from *** tickets and NoT carnival. I just called them, as carnival is closed, and he said they are contracted out through carnival, which is a lie..Customer response

This company is defrauding people into thinking you are speaking directly with the airline you are trying to contact. Using ****** ads they copy the blurb of airline companies except they put their number for contact. When you call, they tell you they are the airline you are trying to reach and they book whatever you are trying to do PLUS an unaccounted for agency fee. Just take a look at the millions of people posting about being frauded online. This has to stop.Business response

Customer called and informed that she want to make changes in seat as she is getting error because for one passenger, pet is added and for second it was not but they both are in same reservation and provided booking reference WASWUF **************** Representative asked for which passenger she want to make change.
Customer informed that for Talitasoni she want to make it from 17B to 11B and for ****** wants exit row seat 12A **************** Representative checked and informed that for exist ****** is costing $108
Customer agreed and card details taken over the call **************** Representative informed that she is processing one authorization email through consolidators desk ORB tickets in which the details will be mentioned
Customer agreed and email sent for AUTH and informed amount $133 including taxes and fees for both the seats, AUTHORIZATION received and informed that booking is in process and will take 2hr to share confirmation for seat
Customer agrees and call ends.As per the above conversation we as a ************* ORBTickets never represented as an Airlines , both verbal and written information clearly states that we are not the airline.
later on the same day Where Customer is claiming that her one of the family member get fraud in the name of American Airlines and informed not to charge the card or else she will *** and she have all call recording and has informed that we are American airline
Customer service representative informed that our agent must have not committed we are American Airlines but he will stop the transaction and her card will not get charged.Since customer did not authorized it we did not charge any service fee , or any transaction on Customers card ,because we as a travel agency Orbtickets never charge customers card with the card holder verbal and written authorization

All details are attached regarding OrbTicket scam. When our airline to ******* was hours late and we were going to miss our connecting flight to *****, my wife received an email with a giant ****** Airlines logo on top, seemingly ****** Airlines Help Desk. The agent claimed to be representing ****** Airlines. It was all a fraud. We fraudulently paid them $474.08 on our Chase credit card, thinking that we'd settle the matter with ****** Airlines when we returned from vacation. Orbtickets said they would send the tickets electronically. We never received. They never sent us any tickets. When we called ****** Airlines upon returning, they knew nothing about Orbticket. ****** had arranged the tickets. ***** credit card investigated and fully refunded our money. I'm now getting annoying phone calls and emails from OrbTickets claiming we owe them the money. Looking online, we found hundreds of people scammed by the same trick. Please help to stop this scam and ask them to stop any contact with us. Thanks youBusiness response

Credit card Holder-***************************Customer called and informed that her flight from ***-*** is delayed so she will loose her connection flight ***-MLA so she wanted to change her flight from MUC-MLA which is at *****pm **************** representative checked and informed that there is only one flight available at *****pm and that too there is no business class seat available.
Customer agreed and email sent for Authorization **************** representative informed that he is holding *****pm also as an alternate flight so that if in case if she will miss the *****pm flight with Air ***** then she will get move to next flight.
Customer agreed and Authorization received and informed that he will transfer call to credit card verification team to confirm the name of passenger and DOB with flight details Customer agreed and call transferred.Our **************** representative Never represented as ****** Airlines , both verbally and on email it was informed that the changes were done through OrbTickets.
Since Credit card holder filled a dispute with the bank , our dispute team tried contact the customer thrice with the reason for dispute as a normal protocol followed as we have provided the services and was used by the customer that was advised both verbally and on email.
Please note :- There will be no more emails or call made to this customer from **********************.

First, thank you for investigating this complaint.I am rejecting this response because: Orb misrepresented itself as being ****** Airlines Help Desk. Checking the internet, we discovered that it was full of exactly the same complaint that we filed -- dozens and dozens and dozens claiming that Orb was whatever airline folks thought they were contacting -- the same scan we experienced. In my complaint letter, I attached the email that we initially received from them. Please note the giant ****** Airlines logo at the top of the email. The email that my wife initially received, which I had enclosed in my original complaint, claims that they were the "****** Airlines Flight Booking Help Desk," which was a scam -- the same scam you will see reported time and time again on Reddit. I tried to repast the email that we sent originally, but was unable, but you have it from my original complaint. When my wife called, the representative told her that he was ****** Airlines Help Desk. Yes, we received something saying that they were going to forward the actual tickets to *****, but we never received the actual tickets, only the paperwork claiming that they were sending the tickets. When we contacted ****** Airlines upon return, the representative said that ****** Airlines, not Orbtickets, arranged the rebooked tickets to *****, since it was ****** Airlines's flight delay in ****** that caused the problem and as business-class fliers, it was their responsibility to rebook us. Again, we never received any actual tickets from Orb, just paperwork. They also did not notify us until near the end of their enormous "service fee" -- several hundred dollars! Note that Orbtickets did not display the tickets themselves in the material they sent to you. Chase bank, our **** credit card company investigated and refunded the charge. Hence we got our money back.
Orbtickets has perpetuated this scam over and over. Again, the internet is full of complaints about them and their scam -- pretending to be an airlines "Help Desk" -- any airline. I don't want to engage in a continued fight. They scammed us, for sure and charged a crazy service fee, hundreds of dollars more than the tickets, which they never issued. To put a halt to this, I would just "pay" them the amount they claimed the tickets cost minus their fee. Let's get through this! I guess they will continue to scam folks just as they did us. I just want to get this over with.
I thank you for following up with Orbtickets. I wish we could put an end to their practices, but I'm tired of this whole business.

I just got a closer look at what Orbtickets claimed were the tickets they provided, which we never received, as I explained. That info was just downloaded from the ****** Airlines site, which they could do as a travel agent. They did not issue the tickets to *****. ****** Airlines issued the tickets. As I said, we were scammed as were dozens and dozens of others, who listed their complaints on the Reddit web site.
As I mentioned, I just want to bring an end to this, please! Thanks for your assistance!

My 80-year old mother needed to change a Delta Airline ticket for emergency reasons. She looked up Delta on the internet and landed on a fraudulent page that listed the company's phone number and not Deltas. She called, change the reservation under the pretense she was talking to Delta--they answered the phone as Delta Airlines--and changed the ticket. They charged her the fare difference, $200, and additional fees totaling $596.21. Delta is not affiliated with this company, **************** would not accept a dispute to the charge, and a call to ORBTickets did not end with any results. They offered a $100 refund after I mentioned I would be contacting the BBB, FTC, and SOS in *******. I did not take the money. This is clear fraud and acting on false pretenses. Customer called and informed that due to emergency she wanted to make change in her ticket and provided booking reference- GMYS6V and informed that she wants to make change for tomorrow, if possible, for different timing, **************** representative checked and informed that she will have to pay $750 for 07th Dec23
Customer asked can she make it for different timing, **************** representative that if she will take flight on 08th Dec then she will have to pay $690
Customer agreed for 07th Dec as there is only difference of $60 **************** representative informed that flight is for tomorrow that is why new fare is coming of expensive and she is paying the difference of fare taxes and fees.
Customer agreed , **************** representative asked if she will make the changes in her return flight then she will have to pay less
Customer asked is she paying $750 for round trip, **************** representative that she is paying for going flight and coming flight on same day and if she will go on 08th Dec then she will have to pay $625
Customer denied and informed that she want to keep it for 07th Dec for $750 **************** representative informed that including taxes and fees she will have to pay $796.21
Customer agreed and email sent for confirmation also an electronic signature was received and informed that he is going to complete her check in and she can check her email, she can give booking reference and at the airport she will get boarding pass
Our **************** representative Never represented as delta Airlines , both verbally and on email it was informed that the changes were done through OrbTickets.After Completing the first Flight Her Gran Son ******* and claiming that we have represented as an Airlines and they wanted a Full refund , which is not a true statement, as mention above and the proof of acknowledgement is Attached in the form of DOCU SIGN.
Resolution :- We have offered a ******USD Refund as a goodwill gesture which the Caller has denied and did not accept the Offer
Summary :- The Customer complaint stands Null and Void.
