Wowwww!!!!!! I will start by saying that I am absolutely honoured to have the opportunity to be featured in the Scars of Survival magazine. It is so rare to find a magazine and platform where you can be raw, authentic and honest in telling your story, and Scars of Survival magazine provide just that. The experience was tremendous from start to finish. Meeting ****** was truly a shift of the mind and spirit. A sister in ******, I am humbled and blessed. Scars of survival magazine was very heart felt for me after reading the article of different people who went through DV ... It gave me more insight into what we need to be doing to spread this magazine to everyone... Plus I have purchased a year subscription of scars of survival magazine and I really enjoy reading it . But I understand the delay in getting my magazine on time because it's a start up business but other than the delay in receiving my subscription I'll recommend this magazine to everyone looking for real story of people who has overcame DV.. please keep up the good work scars of survival because I'm one loyal customer (******) Love your version and personal stories ....p.s. I have worked multiple times with scars of survival. I love the individual's with whom I have worked with and spoken too and look forward to doing more work with the magazine in the future. I couldn't ask for better support system and making new friends. The storied from all walks of life have been such an inspiration and continues to grow for awareness for domestic violence! SCAM Alert! Very slick operation. *********************************** does just enough to stay above the radar when promoting her Scars of Survival magazine. After paying the $500.00 fee to be featured on the October mag issue (which didnt drop until 11/1/22), I never received the magazine copies bought for an additional cost. I did receive the cover and article that were supposed to go inside the magazine, but when it was time to receive the ACTUAL magazine, I was told it was hung up at the printers; leaving me to believe a mag was never going to be produced. Mind you this is after a 6-week wait with no communication of this printer issue. When stated that the printer issue should not be my issue, I was told ********************** was preparing for her wedding, and that that was her priority, and for me to respect that. My response: I would rather respect you keeping your word. There was some back and forth about integrity and her mother being a prophet and step-father a pastor and she was passing on the text chain to them. Although irrelevant, I mentioned they were welcome to write/call, but responsibility needed to be taken by her for the fallout. I never heard from them. Then 2 weeks after the wedding I reached out again, whats the status? At that time she offered a refund and suggested that others whod purchased the mag at my request, contact their financial institution for refunds. Wed already done that, but because more than 2 months had passed, they suggested we contact Scars. This is, in my opinion, where ********* is again slick. Imposing deadlines beyond generally acceptable recovery dates. Then, saying we performed our duties, but its the printers fault you didnt receive the product. Not good business woman, and I only mention the hue of her skin because oppressees (if this is even a word) are worst as oppressors, because its just not a good look. So be aware! Maybe I wont get my money back, but I can attempt to help keep you from losing yours.Scars Of Survival Magazine, LLC

Greetings,We thank you so much for your review and its unfortunate you feel Scars of Survival Magazine company is not a scam, we are by far a scam. Your correct, you paid $500 to ***** the cover of the magazine and you not only received that but also an exclusive interview and social media promotion. In regards to the printed copies, an email was sent explaining the delay in shipping due to us partnering with a company that was located out the US. We stated on our website under shipping that it can take up to 6 weeks for delivery. Weve also offered a refund to anyone who wasnt able to wait the delay of the printed copies and to date only one customer has requested a refund and refund was given. Weve also offered to send proof from the printing company of the delay and thats wasnt accepted. In regards to communicating with our CEO, you contacted her two days prior to her wedding and was sent a professional message stating shell respond once she returns from her honeymoon and a not so nice response was given to her. In all that our CEO remained professional and still has moved forward with responding and making sure refunds are given if requested and printed copies are shipped once received. We do our best to make sure our customers are satisfied and if at any time theres discrepancies we handle then with care and concern. We just ask that our customers be professional and not deliver threats to not only our CEO but the staff of Scars of Survival Magazine as this customer has done. Your marriage is not starting out rightgetting married in 2 days. Walk in integrity today or you will reap what you sow tomorrow. I feeled scammed I have not received all the magazine nor services or things I paid for from this magazine company. The *** has removed my magazine from her website due to me telling her she scammed me and did not give me what I paid for which is ****** dollars of services. The package I purchased said I would get up to 6 pages inside the magazine and the front cover. I only was on the front cover and one face shot on the table of context page and one picture of half of my body on one page inside the magazine only.I was put on the front cover as February front cover on social media.my package also consisted of 10 free magazine to be mailed to me and I only received one its know may.my package also included one ticket to the met gala which I have not received at all.I paid for a photo shoot of 4 different out fits and back rounds because the *** of the magazine told me I needed 4 different pics and outfits my photo shoot was ****** dollars plus I had flyers as well as a huge poster made of me on the front cover of the magazine picture she sent me so I promoted it and spent more money for promoting it I have receipts and documents to prove all of this. You didnt have 6 pages of content to put in the magazine therefore it wasnt 6 pages and we have proof of this. Its our discretion if we choose to use all photos provided or not, it has to go with our layout and you has no additional content to add additional photos. Also you received placement on a billboard in downtown ******* which didnt come with your package, ($1000 value). As communicated with, when the tickets are put out for the gala you would receive it but that hasnt been done yet. We order from the Netherlands so we have to await shipment which takes time and shipping is delayed nowadays. Whenever you contacted our CEO she has spoken to you. You just contacted her the day before yesterday so we ask you allow a adequate amount of time for response a shes a busy woman. All marketing ideas were of the cover features choice and in no where states that the magazine will pay for that nor photography. The gala ticket was an incentive for gracing the cover and not included in the $500 as thats the general fee to ***** the cover. Also we have the option to keep what magazines we want on our website and thats stated too. As advised previously, when we receive the magazines well ship, we have no control of shipping.
