    These people really think it's okay to just "fill holes & put down traps" for the mice & have pest control come out at their convenience for the roaches (not even to treat the units surrounding me...just mine, though it is obviously not the origin of the problem). I have never had an issue w/ pests anywhere I have lived...especially one that was not handled by the landlord. Imagine having company, & a roaches seemingly start coming out of the wall. It is disgusting, a health risk, embarrassing, & stressful to live this way. I have loose tiles under the carpet, STILL. They came in prior to me resigning my lease claiming that they were going to "take care of things." The leasing office is unprofessional. I really hope people ban together to demand better. At this point, The Langston Apartments need to be buying people out of the leases who don't want to pay to house the apartments' "pets." No one who is in a current lease should have to come up w/ funds to move because the owners are not properly allocating money to address the issues.

    We have went to great lengths to remedy any issues any of our tenants, including this one has had. We have sent contractors to the unit to search and repair for any openings or holes that *** be allowing access to rodents or any other pests. We have no other tenants in the vicinity of this unit that are complaining of pest issues.  We have put the tenant on pest control list with a professional company *********** with in order to remedy the pest issues. At this point, we have even requested a city code enforcement officer to come and inspect the unit with our staff in order to ensure that the unit is up to code standards. Upon the results of this inspection, we will continue to work diligently as per the officer's instruction.

    All I want to say is that this response is hilarious...at best. One of my neighbors & I got a good laugh, as she was killing a ***** in her kitchen. Also, Code Enforcement was here...just in time to see a mouse on a trap.

    Im 7 months pregnant this the 8th rat been in my apartment they wont remove nothing and see where no holes come from everyday they come take the rat out and put down new traps under me its apartments that is boarded up and it come from down stairs the rent office lay so rude to me she keep saying I can move and get my deposit back but Im on section 8 I cant find nothing else because I just moved in I called section 8 the inspector came out and they have 30 days to fix everything but only come put traps out and I called code enforcement still havent heard nothing back from them

    This resident did submit work order requests for rodents. We sent contractors to the unit every time the resident complained in order to address any holes or rats that were in the unit. To our knowledge, every work order has been addressed. In the beginning when the tenant expressed her concerns, she asked to be moved to another unit. We expressed to  her that we did not have other units available, but if she did wish to move, we would allow her out of the lease and return her security deposit to her. ****** did not want to do this. To date, anytime tenant puts in a work order, maintenance is sent.

    They are lying they know I cant move because I havent use my voucher for 120 days in this apartment they dont wont to fix nothing they only put traps down everyday I was calling them they lie and say someone coming the maintenance come and they only put traps down its a hole in here they know they dont want to fix nothing I have my baby next month I ask them several of times and they get smart and just only put traps down they havent been here even to check the traps in this closet aint no telling whats in there
