Was sent to collections for an unpaid balance! The balance is wrong and the lovely people at Maverick refused to fix it! I returned the Key to JJ on 4/29 which was a Mondaythere was a key because I had dual entry. I moved out on 4/22 by the end of the weekeverything was out. A few weeks passed and I received emails about the unpaid balance. I asked for a ledger because the amount looked wrong. It was indeed wrong because they took it upon themselves to charge me 2 more months after I had moved. I reached out and said that it was incorrect and they said that I was still occupying the unit. I signed a new lease on 4/22, my things were gone by the end of week. You guys claim to have come by and did a walk through and said that it was still furniture and all in the unit.very strange being that I moved most of my things on 4/22 because that was the only day I had help and a U-Haul. I was completely done by the end of that week, I just needed to clean the unit and return the key. A simple replay of your cameras would have shown that. YOU ALL dropped the ball and want to charge me 11k. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I live here for almost 15 months and I hated every single month of it, but needed a place to lay my head. Its no ****** I came out one night to a guy laying behind my car that had been shot, YES SHOT! Parking is horrible, you can hear outside conversations. A number of packages had been stolen because of the way the mailroom is set up! Oh and the whole time I lived there I did not get a mailbox key and my car was hit there and no the people did not leave a note. They dont give a **** about anything except for having that rent paid by the 1st of each month and not a day later.

My girlfriend and I have been through a lot with Maverick and in Nov. 2023 I found out that the noise we had hearing in the ceiling since April 2023 were rats and during that time my girlfriend had been pregnant. And in November once we found out and confirmed about the pest issues we asked if we could pay November rent and get our least terminated early termination fee waived due to the issue and having two kids in the apartment. We were basically brushed off and told they would fix the issue and that they could not waive early termination fees which our least was up February 16. It basically felt as if we were forced to live in a pest infested environment with our kids to the point where we started smelling this foul odor. The pest control people came out three weeks straight just to literally do nothing to tell us that they were waiting on The Maverick so that they could come up with a contract to move move forward and this was the beginning of Dec 2023. And then told the pest issue couldnt be resolved because it cost too much over $10,000! I then ended up going to the corporate office twice to speak with someone on getting the issue resolved and they finally agreed to waived our early termination fee so from the time of Nov-Jan we still had to pay rent. Its some emails we sent that hasnt been responding back to basically to explain where did our deposit of $2,321 which was suppose to be added to the end of our move out and why was our base rent for December on paper different from our least it went from $2,321 to $2,525 and yet to still answer those questions via email nor phone. Instead of applying our deposit of $2,321 towards the amount we owed from Nov-Jan which I thought the deposit is something that you get back at the end or to cover any damages which we didnt have but instead they took our deposit and used towards a mistake on their end to cover rent back in Jan 2023 after we got 6 weeks free rent also being told we only paid $300 in deposit

We have been in communication with the resident since they occupied unit. They skipped due to unpaid rent and being on eviction and we outlined their ledger and where the deposit went. All documents have  been given in person and in email.

****** and I submitted multiple maintenance request due to rodents in the venting system. We talked to everyone about the issues and they ensured us they were working on it. Some staff members admitted the rodent issues and then upper management decline to respond. I spoke with a manger that was in the process of moving to a different location he advised that the owners of the properties advised him the contract with the exterminators company and cost to fix the issues was too expensive. We kept reporting every issue to them and the issues were never resolved. We did not move due to not being able to pay rent. It was in fact related to their continuous neglect and unprofessional attitudes. We had a new born baby that had just been born the last day in July. We traveled out of town for two weeks giving them time to look over the unit for the rodent issues in the ** system. Before the unpaid rent came about. They told us they hired new people to come in to look over the issues when the regular pest control came he said they keep sending him to our unit to look for nothing until they signed the new contract and the staff told us they couldnt confirm rather the apartment was safe to stay in with the baby or not. They were very passive. Thats when the paying of rent became an issue. We advised of the health concerns were having and the smell of rodent f**** and urine. Also the issues with the money allocation came about the money being that we paid a deposit on Nov 17th and it was allocated in error to rent instead of being held as a deposit. **** not made aware of any of this until a month after moving out. They just placed ****** towards our deposit as a default per the ledger that was provided. At the time we signed the lease. **** offered 6 weeks free rent. Starting dec 1 which means we should have had the entire month of December and Prorated for Jan. **** not made aware of any allocation issues. Until after we filed complaints with upper management or threaten to get lawyers involved. This apartment complex neglected us during this entire process. Did not communicate proper maintenance details.

When it comes to emails the business side has failed to respond back properly to questions in those emails several times. The business has an innumerable amount of questions that are still unanswered and has been refusing to answering those questions. Including not explaining how we received $300 back for the deposit when the correct amount paid was $2,321 with no damages done to the apartment. The business failed my family and me countless times by not getting the pest issues resolved after waiting well over a month from the time of the work order to state that it can not be resolved due to the amount of money it costed to have it taking care. The business sent their pest control team out a number of times and each person stated in order to move forward that a contract between the two parties would need to be finalized. From November 2023 to January 2024 nothing was ever done. In January, it was stated to us that the cost for that issue to be taking care of exceeded over $10,000. And also during that time frame I asked numerous times about waiving that early termination of the lease due to this pest issue going unresolved for that period of time. It was wasnt until January in emails when the business finally decided to waived that fee. I even went to the corporate office twice and as we are here today nothing was done. At this point it seems to not only just be an apartment issue with pest but more of the complex per residents in the review section on ******* And just to clarify when I mention pest that Im talking about (RODENTS). Nothing is being done and families that have kids, babies like myself are basically being force to live in those conditions due to the lack of responsibility held by the business side.
