We went to them to use a online auction to buy a vehicle at a local impound lot in ********. We used our credit card and it was supposed to have been reimbursed for $9.95 and it never was. This company has never respond to the 2 emails I sent them. Also the auction we where going to bid at was cash only which doesn't make sense why they charged us $9.95 for a credit to bid on the vehicles and then another $30 fee and then the cost of the vehicle as well. We would like a refund for the $9.95 and possibly more for the hassle because the wording on there website makes you think fast round means in person auction which we drove an hour and a half to get to the auction location and we couldn't even bid on the vehicles because it was online only we wanted to view the vehicle before we bought it as well and we couldn't even look at it. So this company has been a hassle ever since we tried to bid on the vehicles

I'm not sure I understand ****************** D Rumpf  complaint, the website clearly identifies as an Online Auction as the name applies. OIA list a preview date before every auction date, nowhere do we say the auction in onsite.

BBB you can review the website at www.onlineimpoundauctions.com  you will find at the top of the page a tab for buyers, this will take you a buyers video, on the home page we provide a buyers learn more tab. OIA did send an email offering a refund on the credit as a good business practice, he never replied until Oct 2,22 OIA believe his complaint is unfounded.

    1. How much does it cost to bid?

    A. There is a $9.95 charge per auction.
This fee is referred to as your bidder credit and is ONE PER AUCTION.
Online Impound Auctions does not require you to pay per bid, or per car. $9.95 joins you to the auction where you can bid as much as you like.

    2. What is the Deposit/Hold that is required to join an auction?

    A. There is a credit hold that is also required to join an auction.

This is a credit hold, not a deposit. No money is transferred from your credit card to us.
Your hold will be released when
You are not a high-bidder on any vehicle in he auction. Online impound releases the hold immediately following the auction close
You are winning-bidder and you pay for your vehicle(s)
Note, your bank may take additional time to process the release.

I am rejecting this response because: the company did bill ** credit card for the auction and never refunded it. Also who in there right mind watches a video of how to use it I have dial up internet so there is no way for me to watch the video either. We just want our money back and will never use this company again that is why most impound lot use ***** to sell there vehicles and its more user friendly and there is no $9.95 fee either just a buyers premium which is common at auctions.

    Sincerely,
