  Was completely lied to about everything over the phone, it's 8 to a filthy, moldy apt. They only want you to work for their staffing so they get there kickbacks of course while you get peanuts which they take. Your first week is ****** folks! They don't tell you about the 300 administration fee. ****** is nice enough but frankly useless and absolutely no help, ***** (********) lol told me if I wanted to get my own job I had to pay 300 a week. Filthy living people, street filthy. Don't even waste ur time here, I traveled over ***** miles for nothing and am now stuck at greyhound on a 45 hr bus ride back. If you talk to ***** on the phone everything that lady will tell you is a lie. Another money slave labor camp who absolutely take advantage of people in a bad situation trying 2 get right, absolutely shameful and disgusting!! Shame on *** and they abuse their drivers making them work 24 7 for 145 a week and they still have to pay 180!!!???

  They lie to you over the phone saying they will get you a job within a week. Run by A.A. Nazis who are drunk on having power over people in a desperate situation. I went there a week before new years when no one is hiring. This apparently was my fault and got kicked out. All these places are just about the money. They don't give two flying f**** about helping anyone and they aren't "Christian" like they claim. You have to pay ****** a week while sharing an apartment with 5 other people.1,000.00 a month to live like a Mexican.

  Sober Living America gives people the chance to start over and rebuild their lives. You get out of it what you put in. If you have nothing at all and nowhere to go they welcome you in with no judgement. They give you a warm bed, a job, rides to work, meetings, ******** and church. The staff are there to help but YOU have to put in the work to find God and recovery. Nobody can do it for you. It is a safe drug free environment with a lot of people working towards the same goal. Saved my life.

  This company is not legitimate and takes advantage of people that are desperate for help. The apartments are filthy and the whole operation is a sham. Very unorganized and residents are left on their own to figure things out.

  I love staying in this campus. I am enjoying life so er because of this program. It is helpful in so many ways. They helped me find a job and I can't wait to start work this coming up Wednesday!!! If your looking for a new way of life and tired of using drugs give this program a try you won't regret it!!!

  First off. I'm a Former 12 year United ************** a 10 Year Boy Scout, so what I say is 100 Percent true. The apartments are Filthy. I checked in and went to use the restroom. There was NO toilet paper. The Director was with me, I ask him where the toilet paper was. He said, We don't supply it. Gosh. I got checked in and found myself on the Couch. NO TV, WiFi or internet service. I got a bed in a room approximately 12 by 12 with 3 single beds, 2 closets a coffee table and 1 chest of drawers with Only 3 drawers. The furniture was in Terrible shape. No curtains on the windows. That's the First part. Going to the kitchen. Filthy as could have been. No coffee maker, No toaster oven, no blender. the drawers were broken and filled with Dead Cockroachs.The dishwasher was falling out of the counter it was below. I was there for 26 days. While I was there I Personally killed A Minimum of 46 COCKROACHES a day. One day 89......Yes 89... They would not call an exterminator Nor would the SO ***************** suppl me with pesticide after asking 6 times. The cockroaches are So Bad that they got into my dinner plate AS I was eating in the dining area. I was reading the Bible and a Large Cockroach crawled across My Open Bible. One got into my glass of milk without me noticing until I already was gulping down the milk. Wow Huh..... The get you a job of Their Choice, Take your Whole check and Left US with only $40.00. The ***************** and any *************************** needs to GO INSPECT this housing facility. THIS PLACE IS NOT FIT FOR HUMAND OCCUPANCY !!!!!!! The residents Living there are TRAPPED......I ***' have time to waste to Go On telling the REST of the story. I'm sure you get the Complaints That this Honest and Caring Citizen has made to be 100% true.

  They will steal your money. I've been here at sla Indy 2 location for 5 weeks and have paid them 2 grand and they still say I owe them $675 next time I get paid. They want you to pay 2 weeks in advanced to be at what they call true zero. Five weeks should only amount to **** but they have hidden fees design to make you trapped. I am in a apartment with roaches and no hot water. The staff are not qualified and our regional director is a a****** that treats us all bad.

  I must mention that my knowledge of SLA is limited to the Southeast region of the **, specifically North Metro Atlanta.Full review including pros and cons available on ****** Reviews. What do these experiences tell me overall about SLA, if Im basing it on what has occurred at these campuses? SLA employs inexperienced, unqualified, unprofessional staff. SLA prioritizes financial gain over any genuine concern for the recovery or wellbeing of clients. SLA campus structures and practices excessively resemble the hierarchical social relationships exhibited in prison. SLA staff are spiteful and manipulative, relying on favoritism to judge and rank clients. I would say that SLA is toxic and dangerous. Varying forms of addiction are taking the lives of people everywhere, and this program does so little, if anything at all, to bring any glint of solution to the problem. SLA does not uphold values deserving of its claim of being either 12-step based or faith-based.

  They do not care about your sobriety not one bit. They are there to rob you of everything you have. ***************** specifically is still an active addict who is essentially a bookie. As long as you let them steal your paycheck from you, it's a free for all. Get high and drunk and do all you want because they will not drug test you. I came to them with an issue because my house mate was smoking crack and they did nothing about it. We need a petition to send these cult leaders to prison where they belong. Go to any other program but this one if you genuinely want help. No one on staff is actually there to help you in anyway. Do what I did and hire an attorney. I'm fighting this pyramid scheme with everything I have and I strongly encourage those that would like to join in toppling this scam.
