    I sent an email May 18,2023, to ********************* to cancel my membership of $34.99 a month fee. I have sent two emails since my original with no response yet. I have since received nine messages since June 1st, 2023 in a failed attempt to charge me $34.99. Here are the bgsc rules: *****************************************

    I agreed to pay $19.99 for a subscription to sisterhood with the Black Girl Social Club. Last year the organization change their subscription levels to allow for different needs of the sisters joining to be met. They offered a legacy plan for existing members at the same rate of $19.99. If you did not subscribe to the new plan you would be charged the new rate of $24.99. I signed up for the legacy plan. Since October of 2022, I have been billed twice for $19.99. The organization never removed my old subscription prior to starting the new legacy plan. This was their new system that they told existing members to join. This is an error on their accounting practice that they did not remove my first subscription before starting the new one. *** contacted the organization through email with no response. I need my account fixed and a refund issued for over payment since October 2022. Thanks!

    I applied for membership with the Black Girl Social Club and was accepted in September 2022. BGSC has had numerous problems with chapter leadership and as a result had not been in communication with us until we started complaining. At that point they cited that they did not have adequate leadership in place to oversee the chapter but continued to collect membership fees from us. I have requested four times by email to have my membership cancelled and the membership fees refunded. As of today I have not received communication as to the refund or cancelation of my membership. I have many emails reporting the problems BGSC has had with abiding by its responsibilities with membership. The problem is that BGSC continues to hold membership drives and has not been able to provide the services my membership paid for. As of today, I still have not heard back from the leadership at BGSC - although they have admitted to not having adequate leadership, promised to give me credit for two months and reported that I would see the credit in my account, which has not been done, nor am I able to gain access to my account. They have collected five months of membership fees from me and have not followed through with the remedies they stated. I requested several times to gain access to my account and still cannot get in. BGSC robs its members of its fees and takes no accountability for it. They have held another membership drive and still don't have adequate leadership in place. DO NOT JOIN THE ORGANIZATION.

    I have repeatedly contacted BGSC to cancel my membership, yet I continue to be charged monthly. According to its website, I need to log into my member portal to cancel, but when attempting, I get a message that my email address is not on file (however, I just got an email from BGSC to that same email address to tell me my subscription will be renewed next month!) Ive sent at least 3 emails the past three months asking for my membership to be canceled, and I was charged again today! I simply want my membership cancelled and a refund of $51 for the past three months that Ive been charged after giving notice.

    For the last few months i have been trying to cancel my membership with this organization. I have sent several emails to the proper people and Im continually being ignored. I have sent them screenshots of the issues I am having with the links that they are using and still no resolution. On the 19th of each month I have been paying for a membership that I am not using. I am not looking for a refund I just want to cancel the membership, thats all. Its $19.99 a month and according to their newsblast the price will be increasing. I believe that it is highly concerning that my money is still being taken even though Ive done what was asked to cancel my membership. I feel like its also concerning that they have blocked the ability to contact them via social media; meaning that email has been the only option to speak with someone. I feel like I am being scammed because how is the money coming out but Im not receiving any services and *** reached out several times to do things the way that the organization has asked.

    I subscribed to this membership last year and I'm no longer interested, for several reasons. I sent an email to their membership email address in September and asked them to cancel it. I sent another email to them and then 2 more emails, one of which was to an executive email address. I've gotten no responses to my request. I was subsequently charged in October again, after my request was made. I reached out to them on Instagram and was provided an alternative email address and again received no response. I am due a refund for October and my membership should be canceled moving forward. Thank you.
