      My caregiver FMLA was not approved for me as my mother lays in *** because the forms require her physician to sign the documents, but the hospital states its against their policy to sign FMLA forms for caregivers and Lincoln Financial will not work with me to get different documents. My mom is dealing with a major situation and instead of tending to her, Ive been going back and forth with Lincoln Financial

      Lincoln financial is terrible. Ive been out of work since April 1st till April 30th on std. I had a really bad injury to my knee. Everything went smoothly with the first request for paperwork from my doctors office. Then on April 30th (when I seen my ************* claim they faxed paperwork over to my doctors office. I seen where they sent an email requesting the paperwork. So I thought everything was okay. Well here comes pay day may 8th I get no pay so I reach out to Lincoln. They told me they never received anything from my doctors office. I called my doctors office and asked them if they ever received anything and they said no. I called Lincoln back, they said they would sent the paperwork again. AGAIN my doctors office said they didnt receive it so I emailed the paperwork to them to fill out. My doctors office faxed the paperwork back to them. Now that they have their paperwork I called HR to ask them to emergency release my paycheck. I cannot afford to eat, or even go to my doctors at this point. Living off *************** HR replies and said they denied my request because Lincoln didnt update the dates on their end to reflect the ppwk they received. Trying to get in touch with my case manager is a nightmare and honestly I think she needs to find a different career because shes very RUDE. Now they are requesting more ppwk for fmla because my doctor wants me to do physical therapy for a month before surgery. I will have to be out 2 days a week for a month. Once that is over I will have my surgery which will probably end up being long term disability after that. This whole experience has been a nightmare and they dont care at all. Cant even bother to call me back. They never answer *** left multiple voicemails. Im now waiting on my second request with HR to see if Im approved for an emergency release or my funds. How can they do this to people?! Dont even bother to let you know if they didnt receive paperwork or follow up. Disgusting

      Our employer started Lincoln Financial Group for our short term disability insurance this year. First they significantly cut my pre-approved benefit days from 3/22-5/24 to 3/22-4/18 until I made a complaint. Then, they paid me the min $25 / biweekly vs previous provider paid me $66.67/day, I already called and explained to number of people that I am a therapist & earning much more than their "calculated **** and was paid much more with our previous provider, but they kept on telling me to get money from EDD, my paid is calculated as according to Ca EDD cutoff (it never changed, why the previous paid much more not a min.) and ignored to explain the calculation details

      I contacted Lincoln Financial Group 15 times in the past three weeks regarding a distribution request from my annuity. Each call was a follow-up, and every time I ended the call, they said I was all set, but then nothing happened; no money was wired to my account. Then I'd call again, and there'd be something new they failed to mention to explain the delay. Finally, all seemed fine; the distribution was sent but no money actually appeared in my account. So I called again and guess what? They sent it to someone else's bank account! Even though they had a voided check from my bank, which is the procedure for distribution. And now I can't get in touch with a supervisor or a higher-up person to get this resolved. There have been no return calls or emails from them about this issue, and customer service seems unable to handle it. I need a lawyer! This is unacceptable! Heres how many times I called and the dates and names of the different individuals I spoke with at Lincoln Group:Today: ************** 30thNotes - this is how many calls Ive made about thisendlessly following up with paperwork and errors on their behalf:April 8th ********************* 10 **** April 11 **** April 15 ****** April 19 ****** April 19 ***** and *********************** 24th ***** April 25th **** April 30th wire - trace number April 30th wire spoke with **** Left a message for Supervisor ******* (no call back). No email. My money went to another bank and now they said it will take weeks to fix it!!!!!! I am LIVID!

      I have a term life insurance policy with Lincoln Financial for ~6 years. They suddenly stopped taking the automatic payment from my account approximately a year ago, and made no attempt to contact me. Upon finally realizing this was occuring (I have the funds pulled from a separate account with plenty of money), I contacted the company in writing in March 2024. They did not respond. I then called on 4/4/2024 and the representative let me know they had cancelled the policy due to my bank account being frozen. I provided the requested proof my account was never frozen (bank statements showing activity during that date and plenty of funds for the premium). I was told I would absolutely receive a response from the supervisor in 7-10 business days, though they would rush the response due to the proof I provided. That was 14 business days ago and there is still no response and my policy still shows as lapsed. Every time I call I get a different answer.

      I am rejecting this response because: *********** responded that even though I provided the requested documentation (bank statements showing activitiy around the dates requested and no rejected transactions) to show the account was not frozen at the indicated time (as was requested by both customer service representatives I spoke to), that was not enough. They upheld the cancellation of the policy without suggesting how I could prove to them that the account was never frozen.  Their proof was that their transaction did not go through and show as a debit on the account.  However, the bank statement clearly shows that there were no rejected transactions that month.  I am unsure how a customer is supposed to prove something that never happened, and I was very adamant in asking what proof was needed. I provided everything that they asked for and they still "cancelled" me.

      On long term disability and after only 2 months Lincoln Financial Group Denied my claim I have been receiving for no changes in my health status. These people are scum, they hired a dr. to call my dr. and berate him and put words in his mouth, after that call my Dr. told me I need to hire a Lawyer thats how bad it was.

      I was unable to return to work as of 3/18/24. I admitted to inpatient care as of 3/21/24. However, I filed my short term disability and FMLA claims before my hospitalization to be sure that I didnt have to deal with this during hospitalization.It is now 4/18/24 and I am still dealing with Lincoln Financial. It was pulling teeth getting my STD claim approved. I had no communication with them for a while before 4/2/24 when I decided to take it upon myself to call and figure out the status of both my STD and FMLA claims. I was then told during that call that I needed to contact a different department to file another FMLA claim. I would have had to do the same with my STD, but apparently the original department was able to approve before April 1st and soon relinquish my first STD check, which I did finally receive on 4/11/24. As of today, I still have had no solid communication regarding my new claims. It was hoop after hoop attempting to file a new FMLA claim like they advised and once I did, it has come clear to me it was filed incorrectly on their part as a NEW STD claim, which I was already under the impression had been approved (especially with the first check I received). Every call at this point I reach a new operator that is telling me the new FMLA claim (along with the claim number) does not exist. To put the icing on the cake, I was also informed that my STD is not approved and is pending still. At this point, who knows if I will continue to receive the biweekly payments I am meant to get from adding these benefits to my insurance.I am beyond confused and frustrated. I am still in inpatient level of care without and end date and continuously having to deal with this and the stress that I will never be able to utilize the benefits I paid for.

      The case managers were of no help. They did not provide all forms upfront and in a timely fashion. When asked to submit treatment notes from PCP , they were said to be insufficient and/or deemed irrelevant. When asked about a specific format of them, no one replied to my physician or to me. Getting in touch with them is like pulling teeth and this process has basically added on to the trauma that I already have. I have been trying to call and get them to walk me through my benefits and they act like they cant be bothered. They claim that they havent received documents yet my doctors fax machine shows who opened the document and whether or not if it was printed out.
