It is my opinion that Rollins Acceptance Company is a predatory lender. To their credit, they have broken no laws but their business model is reminiscent of payday lenders. For one thing, the interest rate of 19% is way too high for a pest control or home improvement loan. Any payments made during the 90 day same as cash period should go towards the balance--and not accrue interest retroactively. Their invoices are sent ten days before the payment is due and without a return envelope, and their website doesn't allow a customer to set up an account without contacting them. It seems to me that these minor inconveniences are designed to make submitting a payment as tedious as possible with the intent of generating late fees. Incidentally, I did not choose Rollins Acceptance Company; the pest control company I hired chose them for me. If it were up to me, I'd have gone with the same lender (i do not wish to associate them with this review, thus I will not mention their name here) that financed other home improvement projects at a 6% interest rate and an easy to navigate website. "There is a reason you don't hear about loan sharks anymore, the banks are doing it legally!" -- **** *****.

We missed one payment due to our card being compromised/changed and was not notified via email that our charge did not go through (set on autopay). Instead the company called my husbands MOTHERS place of WORK and harassed for payment. This is a complete violation and I will be filing a formal complaint.

Never change your email!!!! I have been trying to pay my bill for months. I am a therapist and I don't have time to call nor do I want to hassle with them based on my experience. Sad that a customer just wanting to pay a bill has to deal with a crappy online website. Forget changing your password.

On March 18, 2014 we had a home inspection done as concern was raised by our roofer that we may have termite damage to the home. ****** inspection report found sub-terranean termites that ***** assured us they could take care. So we entered into a five year contract with them. The initial treatment cost *******. Installation of an "impervious membrane on the soil..." for $1800.00. ****************** of scrap wood large enough to rake" for $340.00 for at total of work completed and yet to be completed of $3,340.00.After receiving the inspection report and costs, I made a phone call to ***** to learn what our account number is (#######) and their address (P.O. Box 6015, ********, ** *****) so that I could arrange to make payments. I was told that I should pay the $******* initial treatment and that I could make $50 a month payments due every 10th of the month for future treatment that had been contracted. On April 10th, I arranged with my credit union's Bill *** service to pay the $******* (paid on April 17th) and set up automatic monthly payments for $50 payments every 5th of the month to begin in May.Two days ago, April 19th, I received notice from Rollins Acceptance Company that they would in the future be handling my account for *****. A new account number was given as ###### and the payoff amount was stated to be $4,200.00 which is a shocking $860.00 more than my original bill amount with ***** just one month ago. The notice from ******** Acceptance Company stated that interest would be at 20% with a 12 month term for payoff at a minimum payment of $407.32 per month which would in fact come to a total of $4,887.84 (an additional $687.84 over the new billing payoff amount. That would, in effect, result after one year as over a 37% interest rate after one year on the $3,340.00 charge from *****). All this has happened in a month's time!RAC is predatory. And ****** involvement reprehensible.

I recently had an issue in my home with bed bugs. Therefore, I sought to find a reputable pesticide company to rid the issue of the bed bugs. I contracted with ***** to spray my home for the bed bug issue, and I was given the opportunity to pay out the agreed contract over time. I paid the required down payment and the remaining portion due would be financed through Rollins Acceptance Company of *******, *******. I set up online bill pay with payments being $200 dollars a month. For a period of about 8 months. In my effort to get a balance during the end of that period I was told that my account was paid in full. Most recently after receiving several months of bill due notices, I was prompted to call in to see what the issue was regarding my unpaid balance according to customer **********************. I therefore forward a copy of payments that I received from the bank where my online payments were being made. In my discussion with a customer ********************** representative, it was determined that $400 dollars had not been credited to my account. I had asked that I be contacted when they were able to find out where the payment was recovered, and it applied to my account. I was never contacted. I again contacted RAC and asked that they allow me to continue to pay the remaining balance on a monthly basis and that they not penalize me with late fees and excessive interest. In my recent call I was told that my request had been decline. I feel that due to their negligent of misplacing portion of my payment and being told that my balance was paid in full when it was not that they. I am requesting that they remove the late fees and excessive interest rate on this account. I would like to receive a corrected balance and allow me to pay out the remaining balance monthly.

I financed Orkin services through this company and so far it has been an awful experience. I have emailed them to see if they could work with me on payments because the monthly payments are so high. They have not responded to my request. Instead they just call and hound me about the payment being late. I feel I was completely over charged for pest control through Orkin in the first place. This service feels like such a rip off and it is so unaffordable. It told me that I should call ***** to discuss having my contract changed and I did. How, the woman who answered the phone call at Orkin was completely confused about this and said they couldn't do anything and to call Rollins. I highly suggest not getting Orkin services or having Rollins finance you. It is a complete sham and you you will be left with a very high bill and unrealistic interest rate. Im very unhappy with my experience dealing with them..

Rollins Acceptance Company miscalculated our interest rate, over charged us by almost $1k, and will not respond back to my inquiries regarding this error.I contacted Rollins Acceptance Company in October 2023 by phone regarding the remaining balance of our $8,880 bill. Our monthly payment is $351.38 and since October 2021, weve been paying $177 twice monthly (3 times for the months with 5 weeks). As of October 2023, we paid a total of $8,835.69 of which $3,282.89 was in interest and $5,512.80 was principal. I was told that per the 36 month contract, we still owe another $3k+ at an interest rate of 22% on the original $8,880, and the total paid in the end would be $*********. I asked for a copy of our contract because 22% of $8,880.00, equals $1,953.60 and weve overpaid in interest at this point. After reviewing the contract, it specifically said we would pay a total of $3,769.68 in interest and a complete total of $********* by the end of the 36 month term of the contract. Again, 22% of $8,880 is not $3,769.68, its $1,953.60. But even if they are charging 22% per monthly payment, 22% of $351.38 is $77.30; $77.30x36 months is $2,783.80, not $3,769.68; $2,783.80 plus $8,880.00 equals $11,662.80, not *********. Why are we being charged $986.88 more? I also asked if paying twice monthly has an effect on interest, like any other interest barring contract (auto, credit cards, etc.). I sent 3 emails regarding this error and have yet to receive a response and correction.

I contracted to with bats, mice, squirrels, wasps, insulation in attic (wasps on outside under roof peaks. I got approval from my financial analyst for the total job price of $17,700.00. So my analyst deposited the $17,700.00 Into my Checking account. He told me to to pay right away to avoid the Enormous interest charges. When the job was finished I wrote the check for the total cost, $17,700.00 And showed it to the Branch Manager, before putting it into an addressed stamped Envelope to mail.He mailed it but Rollins said they never got ********* me a late fee bill for $560.50. This went on for the next three months. Rollins denied getting it.I obtained a copy of the check with date cashed. It was not signed but electronically cashed when it was sent to their account. However the name of the bank & the account number it went into are on the back, if you Look. You may legally go to THAT BANK, use their CMD machine to find ONLY the name of the account owner. You will know who has your money..
