We are completing a kitchen renovation and Inman Park Marble & Granite installed the stone for the project (~$24k). During installation 03/2024, they placed sealer on one of the surfaces and created stains that they are still in the process of attempting to remove. Additionally, during installation of the backsplash, they removed a cap to the pipe designed for the new pot-filler and replaced it incorrectly (confirmed by their plumber) resulting in $30,000+ in water damage. The pipe and cap were pressure-tested without a leak prior to installation of the granite. After removal and replacement of the cap by Inman Park Marble & Granite, the leak occurred resulting in the damage. We attempted to contact the owner of the company multiple time and he has never taken or returned our calls. Additionally, he has not been to the property to assess the stains and he did not visit our property to evaluate the water damage. He refuses to replace the stained stone and will not file a claim with his insurance to have the water damage repaired.
