Beware of doing business with this company! They have virtually no online presence, which in and of itself, should be a red flag. The few reviews, they do have, are ALL negative. On May 25th, I paid $250 dollars, for them to come out and install a garage door opener, that I had purchased. After installing the door opener, the technician says "if there are any issues, call me, and I will come back out to fix it". Within two days, the door would open, but when trying to close it, often times, it would take multiple attempts to go all the way down and close. On May 27th, the Friday before memorial day, I called Horizon. Receptionist passes my info on to service tech. I don't hear anything back, after a few days. I think its because of the holiday. I wait a few days and give them another call (on June 7th). I leave a message. A bit later, service tech calls me back (at 12:17pm), he says he can make it over to my house at 4pm. 4pm comes and he never shows. At this point, I already see where this is going. I wait a few more days, to see if he will call me back, to reschedule. He does not call me to reschedule. I call again on June 11th and leave a message (at 4:54pm). He never returns my message. Now I am trying to figure out how to have my issue addressed, after dealing with a company, and a service tech, that don't stand by their word or their work. Also, after looking at the receipt, Hero Garage Doors ( which has a 706 area code) is the one on the receipt. I would be VERY cautious using them, as well, as they have to be subcontracted by Horizon Garage Doors. Beware of doing business with either company.
