    In October I had a surgery or endoscopy procedure performed.First I did it come out of the anisteisia correctly, never given an explanation.Second their billing is atrocious, my copays were pais when presented. Then I started receiving adjusted billing, no explanation. My insurance stated all accurate and correct bills were paid..All of a sudden I start receiving demand notices from a collection agency, I checked all is zero, but no one will speak to me.Today another demand, stagings fees for collection are due?Have no idea, as shoes zero.However since this is a collection notice, I suspect a ding on my credit.Please I need an apology, and a letter explaining how their billing department can continue to bill incorrectly and turn over for collection.My husband is a disabled veteran, and his health is affected when bills are not paid, especially when no one can explain, let alone apologize.

As the new Revenue Cycle Manager, I was able to advise the patient that I am committed to ensure that solutions are implemented that ensure a timely response to patient requests and account analysis.

    I have made several attempts to work with Digestive Healthcare no will call back to discuss the issues where I have over paid base on the *** from United Healthcare. I have the statement where the price for the were agreed to. Being it was the beginning of the year I paid when I received the the statement from the doctor's ****** because I take my credit very seriously. I paid $2,119.00 and the amount that Digestive Healthcare agreed to was $819.00 I have made several calls asking the the refund. I was

    I had a colonoscopy procedure with ************************************/Digestive Healthcare of Georgia on 10/04/22. I paid the entire balance due of $948.68 with Care Credit on 01/08/23 (Care Credit statement with payment details uploaded). I received a notice in the mail from Digestive Healthcare on Tuesday, 03/07/23 that said "Due to the delinquency of this account, we must hear from you immediately. Your response will determine if this account is referred for further collection activity." So, I called the phone number on the notice immediately. I spoke with ********************* and he said they had not received the payment from Care Credit and that I needed to contact Care Credit and refused further discussion.

    Patient ******************************* made payment directly to Care Credit not to Digestive Healthcare of GA.

    Digestive Healthcare of GA dose not participate in Care Credit Direct pay program so the payment was accepted directly by Care Credit in error.

    Upon attempting to speak to ******************************* to do a conference call with Care Credit she refused to assist with locating the payment indicated on the enclosed statement.

    Care Credit requires the card hold to patriciate with any card inquiry that we do not have the card information on and since this payment was not made directly to us, I did not have that information although I did try to resolve.

     

    I have spoke to Care Credit confirmed the payment was made online and Care Credit has updated our system with the over sight the allowed this payment to be accepted by Care Credit, however the patient disputed the payment and the

    payment was refunded to her card by Care Card on 03/14/2023 so the payment was never applied to patient account with Digestive Healthcare of GA or processed by Digestive Healthcare of GA.

    When the patient called in regarding this payment I attempted to assist the patient but was meeting with abusive language and threats.

    Patient still owes outstanding balance of $948.68, she should have a credit in this amount on her credit card.

    The person that responded from Digestive Healthcare must have me confused with another patient because I never spoke with a ***************************** about the Care Credit payment issue. I spoke with *********************. I received a notice from Care Credit that my payment was refunded so I promptly paid the balance due to Digestive Healthcare with another payment method. The payment receipt is attached. Thank you.
