I brought my dog Dior to this groomer on 11/30/22 because my other groomer was booked out for a month. Dior is the calmest dog ever. I picked Dior up from the groomers and on the way home I realized he had blood on his forehead and he would not stop whining/crying. It looked like a transfer print so I tried to locate the wound. I saw his ear had a cut on it. I also realized Dior couldnt walk even 2 steps without crying or biting his tail/private area/foot. As the night went on, **** started feeling worse so I scheduled a vet appointment first thing in the morning. Upon arriving to the vet, I was told he had a bacterial infection, his ears were red and inflamed, and his **** glands were full. I paid for a full groom which includes **** glands, nail trim, full cut, and a wash. I was prescribed antibiotics for Dior and called this groomer as soon as I got home. ****** (owner) answered the phone and after I told her about **** and demanded answers, instead of apologizing and being professional, ****** argued me up and down. She told me *** was the one who groomed **** and kept trying to tell me **** gave himself a bacterial infection from his saliva or elsewhere. I informed her I paid for a full groom and didnt receive half of the services. Instead, I paid $100 because he was apparently very matted and paid $300 in vet bills for an infection that was caused from THEIR grooming salon. After about 20 minutes of going back and forth with no resolution, I informed ************** would never be returning and will be going the legal route. ****** later texted me asking for pictures of **** and the vet bill which I sent her and 2 days later, still no response. I had a flight scheduled to ********* for 12/3/22 which I could no longer attend due to Dior not being able to go to a doggie hotel because of his bacterial infection.
