      Like many others I received an erroneous charge from "AWL*PEARSON EDUCATION PRSONCS.COM NJ" for $100.93 on my credit card despite not buying anything from this vendor. The charge is from 05/09/2024.

      Hello,  I'm sorry about the issues regarding the charges the customer is seeing on their account.    We were able to confirm that the charge issued on May 8, 2024 is for their MyLab Statistics subscription ordered on January 27, 2024.  We has a system issue at that time and their transaction could not be completed.  The issue has been corrected and the customer's credit card was retied on May 8th.   We are not seeing any duplications or fraudulent charges.  We are sorry about the confusion, please let me know if you have any questions.  Thank you.

      Hello,  we apologize for any inconvenience.  The charge the customer was seeing was for an order placed on January 26, 2024.  Due to a system issue the order was never charged to the customer.  When the issue was resolved we were able to successfully complete the transaction on May 7, 2024.  We were able to confirm that there was no duplication or fraudulent charge.  We were just completing  order number WEBE70000051378692.   Please let us know if you have any questions.  Thank you,

      I purchased an access code for a book for $84.99. More than FOUR months later, and conveniently right before the next semester (when students might not notice a charge among the purchases they're making for the next semester), Pearson tried to charge me again for the same amount. I provided proof of the transaction, and then they tried to claim there was a "system error" that prevented them from "collecting payment originally." This must be some kind of scam if not a very unethical business practice - double charging students and calling it a "system error???"

      Hello,  We are so sorry about the inconvenience.  The $84.99 charge that is showing on the customer's credit card is for the subscription order placed on order# WEBE70000051389157  on January 26, 2024.   This order was for their REVEL subscription  access for Art ************** During their order, we had system issues and your order was never completed.  The charge the customer saw on their statement was actually an authorization hold.   The system issue was recently corrected and we were able to properly charge their credit card.  Once the charge was complete,  the authorization hold was removed.   If the customer checks their credit card account and goes back to their January charges they should see that the January authorization hold for $84.99 is no longer on their statement.  The only charge for order# WEBE70000051389157 is the one applied on May 7, 2024.  If you have any questions please let me know.   I am very sorry about the confusion the issue has caused and we are working hard to make sure this never happens again.

      I was charged $94.99 by AWL Pearson Education. I have no idea how they got my credit card information and have never made a purchase from this company using this card. I had to close my cc account and have a new card issued to me.

      Hello we are sorry about the inconvenience, the charge $94.99 that showed on the customer's May statement belong to an order placed on January 27, 2024.  Due to a system issue we were not able to complete the transaction at that time.  The issue was recently corrected and we were able to successfully charge order number WEBE70000051394479.   There are no record of any duplicate charges.  Please let me know if you have any questions and thank you for your Patience.

      On 15 February 2024, my credit card was charged $79.99 for AWL PEARSON ** and I have no idea what that is or what it was for, but I have never heard of this entity nor did I authorize the purchase. I disputed the charge with the card provider and it was reversed. In April 2024, I received an invoice in the mail for the $79.99 saying it is 45 days late. I am not paying this as I did not authorize it. I request that the company remove the charge (trans ref ********) and delete the account (#********* that has been opened in my name.

      On February 24, 2024, I ordered two textbooks from Pearson Education, Inc. (hereinafter, "Pearson") under Order #***** for a total of $112.09 charged to my **** account ending in 1086. A few days later, I received a message from Pearson stating that one of the textbooks was no longer available. I immediately called Pearson to request that the entire ordered were cancelled. The representative stated that one of the textbooks had already been shipped, but she could call the shipper to have it rerouted back to Pearson. A few days later, I placed a new order with Pearson on February 27, 2024, for $52.53 under Order #*****. After I received the order, I decided to ship the item back to Pearson. I shipped the item back on March 7, 2024, and I enclosed a printout with the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) #*******. On March 22, 2024, I received the items that I had shipped to Pearson with the reason being that I did not include a copy of the **** which was not true. I am not shipping these books back to Pearson unless it provides a prepaid shipping label to me.

      Hello We are sorry about the fraudulent charge that you are seeing on your credit card statement.  Per our conversation on February 19, 2024 we were not able to find the charge under your name, billing address or email.  We understand that you filed a claim with your bank to have the charge reversed.  We are currently in contact with out Charge Back team to check the status on that claim and ask for an escalation.  We will contact you soon with an update.  Again we are sorry about the inconvenience.  Thank you.

      On Jan 9, ****, Pearson Education has, for the 3rd time, without authorization, charged my ***** On Feb 6, 2023, it was for $71.38.On Sep 1, 2023, it was for $109.99.Now, it's for $83.99.All appear as "AWL*PEARSON EDUCATION".

      Hello, we are sorry about the order issues.  With the help of *************************** we were able to find the fraudulent orders.  He had filed a claim with  his credit card and we were able to have the charges removed.   He was able to confirm that the erroneous charges were reversed.   We will forward the bad actor information to our fraud department to investigate further and have them blocked.  If you have any questions please let us know.
